    Your so awesome Cory! Is liquid silk the same as tussah silk? What would a good preservative be for this?

      Thank you! Liquid silk is different than Tussah silk. Tussah silk is actual silk fibers that you dissolve in a hot solution.

    Sles is the cheapest surfactant out there followed by coco betaine and aos. Can you explain the difference of non ionic, ionic and amphoteric surfactants?

    This looks so creamy and delicious 😍
    I have Nigerian dwarf goats and make cp goats milk soaps and lotions. I’ve had requests to make a goats milk body wash.
    How can I incorporate goats milk into this if possible?
    Thank you so much for sharing Cory!

      Thank you Sherry! I would only use a powdered form of goat's milk in a lotion or body wash. If yo can dehydrate your goat's milk that would be best.

    Hi Cory. I have a question and I dont mean for it to be rude or anything...its just that Im struggling between natural products and the super nice products with all the 'cant pronounce it' ingredients. So, do you get flack from customers for having the more industrial ingredients? If we make products this way, why is it any better than what we buy in the store for cheaper? Seriously. I really am struggling. Thanks for your input and these videos!

    • @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany
      @SunshineSoapandCandleCompany  2 года назад +2

      I never get flack from customers on synthetic products. I think if customers want to use all natural products those are the ones they buy. I sell both. Also, synthetic type ingredients can be easier on the skin than some all natural ingredients. Just because something is not completely natural does not make it bad. Essential oils and fragrance oils are a great example of this. Some essential oils are extremely volatile, and all natural, but you wouldn’t use them in skincare products. Whereas skin safe fragrance oils are synthetic yet in the right amounts are perfectly safe for use in skincare. It just depends on what you are going for.
