Hi, I've been loving your channel for a while. So I'm sure you're way past this point by now, but if you're still interested, our friends just rode through Baghdad last month heading south. If your want, we can put you in touch. Keep up the awesome videos!

    Iraq!
    Wow.
I don't know of any other motorcycle overlanders who, in modern times, have been through Iraq.
You two are making some of the most interesting videos on RUclips!
I am sincere when I say that!
What a great place for your first meal in Iraq!
So different than what we are shown on the news! So unexpected!
    Bagdad still looks terrifying though.
I look forward to your next video.
    Thanks for sharing!
    Take care,
    Dave "Tiger" Coward 🇨🇦

Brave move, interested to see Iraq. Cool place you found. Have you found that a lot of pre conceived ideas of places you've visited have been wrong, or has it been easy to stay open minded?
Also, how have you found the range on the GS, has fuelling up been easy up to this point in the trip?

The biggest thing we find is that people are generally so friendly and kind, even more so in countries where you might think safety is a concern. We soon relaxed into quite an open minded state, making connecting with strangers so much easier and more natural.
Never any issues with the GS range - it is plenty! But we were glad to have the long range a few times - less to worry about.
