The main aim should be to instill a formidable style of play and get these wishy-washy players to buy into it. The Europa League should be the focus in terms of trophies, just like Mourinho’s first season post-October.
Bit childish. Hope he does win something obviously. The Carabao Cup draw could have been a bit kinder but it's a good chance to gauge the improvement of the team performances under the new regime after the 3 - 0 drubbing at Old Trafford.
Yeah people see 14th and freak out.... don't get me wrong, it's bad and we shouldn't be there.... but after this number of games the table has barely taken shape and the gap between bottom half and top 4 is never that large
Lets hope he doesn't abandon his way of playing like ETH did.... if players arent happy or want to sulk about the style then they can go doesn't matter who it is.

Oh, he won’t. Amorim is not like Ten Hag. Players who don’t commit to his style can go F$%^ themselves. At Sporting, Amorim was amazing at this as he turned negative situations into very positive ones: E.G.: he developed amazing young players in a short amount of time because of this: the experienced player in that position wasn’t suitable for the role so he turned inside the club for younglings and they delivered. This amazing inside positive pressure builds up on every player every single day making the engine rolling.
One could argue sticking to his guns irrespective of certain players' feelings was part of what did ETH in because people still beat him with the Sancho & Ronaldo situations till now. This is Man Utd... You can't win either way.
I get the feeling that the plan all along was to leave eth in until the end of the season while ineos got their feet under the table. Ineos brought in players to suit amorim style of play, like yoro as a part of a back 3 and ugate and bring amorim in before next season but the season so far as been so bad that ineos had to act sooner than they wanted
Hes obviously achieved alot but it comes to a point where we have to be honest and say when ten haag come we believed he would bring Ajax style of football as well as the other managers. Van gaal was the only one who achieved an identity of but thats because it was easy football. I hope for our sake he can bring winning ways but the issue is with the players
Couldn't agree more, as much i wanna be hopefull about a new manager coming in with new style and tactics, I cant help but go back to when we signed ten hag and draw similarities to that situation then. Hopefully he brings some luck or else in 2 years time we would be having the same conversations regarding how he is not what it takes, all the time while having the same set of players. I dunno feels like shiny toy syndrome as of now. Hopefully turns out the best for us
I feel like a lot of people saying we're 7 points behind top 4 is kinda missing the point, you can't just make those points up by winning a couple of games, I think it's better to think in terms of points per game to understand how far off we are from that, which typically in EPL is 2 ppg, so to get there we need to win 7 without drawing or losing and then average 2 points for the rest of the games, which is possible, but very difficult already as we need 2.24 ppg if we consider all the remaining games and that is title winning form.
You can't pin your hopes let alone plans on it making the difference but other teams will take points off the teams above us as well. All is not lost....plus there's also the last chance saloon of the Europa League as long as we can keep going in the competition.
Ruud won't get to experience taking the team out as manager at a opposition ground. This is a smart move to pay extra to get him in during the International break, as he'll need those extra days as we will be playing 11 games a week between then and the end of the year, talk about trial by fire,
I think the FA should introduce an option to replay a sub if needed..sometimes, opposing managers change their tactics to reflect who other boss subs. Adds to the intrigue of the game 😂
We should temper constructively our expectations. It’s a rebuild in every way. Rome was not built in a day. We now have a proper management team. Unlike before. But it can’t be overnight and we can’t be in a hurry as usual.
Can we keep our players from going on international duty so that they can train with the new coaches? Surely the international football associations would see value in their players going back into a good club environment and missing out on a few friendlies
I think there is someone leaking tactical information, best coaches come and their game plan each week looks shit . I hope this coach starts winning games . United ! United! United!
EtH will go to a bigger club than that and it'll be about 18 months from now so he can collect his full £19m from Utd severance...if he takes a job before then, they don't have to pay him.
the wingers you’re concerned about have shown us for the past 10 years they’re not up for it. about time we change it up a bit and see if we can innovate how we can use them effectively.
Ineos aren’t mugs - they wouldnt have spent 200mil this summer unless the players were flexible and suitable for the coaches they considered as candidates to replace ETH. There does appear to be some forward planning unlike under the glazers
In terms of success I would agree but in terms of the actual football played by their teams Rúben plays a far more expansive game whilst having incredibly solid and dynamic defensive structures. I'm a Benfica fan and he was one of ours so ever since he got into coaching I've been following him. The guy is amazing and very well known for how honest he is with communication. Trust me you guys will finally feel happy again with him.
@@Lakey79373 finished 2nd in one season and won Europa and League cups. He didn't do nothing mate. Like all those before him, as well as Ole and Rangnick after him he had to work with the worst ownership/board imaginable, plus momentary mutiny from players. The man is a born winner, and has won big wherever he has been
LIKE this comment if Amorim will win a trophy this season! 🏆

The question should be 'How long before our toxic fan base turns on another talented manager?"
Bit childish. Hope he does win something obviously. The Carabao Cup draw could have been a bit kinder but it's a good chance to gauge the improvement of the team performances under the new regime after the 3 - 0 drubbing at Old Trafford.
Not fair. He is no ETH so please give him time.
The most important issue is lets all pray Amorin will succeed in building a strong and formidable team. Trophies will follow later.
we are 6 points off top four with 29 games to go. It’s far from done.
Yeah people see 14th and freak out.... don't get me wrong, it's bad and we shouldn't be there.... but after this number of games the table has barely taken shape and the gap between bottom half and top 4 is never that large
Need to win on sunday to stay in close distance

Happy to see Ruud in charge for a few more games… also now we can all tune in to see Amorim do City in the CL.

Agreed son

You can if you beat those in the top 6 which is what we should be doing

I think its fair to say we all just want to see sum structure and method to our play. This squad is good enough to compete
Praying the legacy of Sir Alex reimerges again at last.
SAF came in November 86.. let's hope there's a bit of dejavue
Win the Europa league that would be a brilliant start for the gaffer

So we still have 3 games of RUUD? 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yes son

Whats happening with the rest of if the coaching staff? Are they staying until Amorim starts work ?
Very similar hype to what came before we got Ten Hag...

Keep updated new video
This "Kid" is a bizarre thing to call a manager 😂
Wouldn't it be amusing if Sporting replaced Amorim with ETH
EtH will go to a bigger club than that and it'll be about 18 months from now so he can collect his full £19m from Utd severance...if he takes a job before then, they don't have to pay him.
I’m concerned about no wingers such a big part of our identity despite the fact we haven’t really got any right now
Same 😕
the wingers you’re concerned about have shown us for the past 10 years they’re not up for it. about time we change it up a bit and see if we can innovate how we can use them effectively.
Shameless...if these lot had it their way, they would have still kept ETH lmaoooooo
does this mean were buying all sporting players now and getting rid of the Ajax players??
Ineos aren’t mugs - they wouldnt have spent 200mil this summer unless the players were flexible and suitable for the coaches they considered as candidates to replace ETH. There does appear to be some forward planning unlike under the glazers
He won’t have 2 weeks to work with the players as most will be away with their countries
Toxic players who down tools, let’s see when they act up and get this manager sacked
He should left immediately.
Dont tell me...Utd are back...again...😂😂😂😂😂
Twenty-one is f***ing coming. (Not this year)
Let’s hope the players like him or they’ll run him out of the club.
Sad but true
It’s funny man united couldn’t hit a barn door all of a sudden sack the manager, team playing like Demons…I bet man united beat Chelsea this weekend…
Second coming of Jose
Hope he last longer than 28 months in that case.

I hope not he did nothing for united
