4:20 Love how cute Satoshi looked while running towards you in the back! I would like to visit this market one day - there's just so much to do in Japan...can't wait to go back one day!
We were just there, there are so many choices and we are totally overwhelmed and don’t know what to eat hahha! Should of checking out your video ahead of time!
Satoshi is right, happiness is beer AND coffee. But I reckon happiness is also everything else you've brought us in the is video. It has been years since I've been to Osaka but we will definitely add Kuromon Market to our list of places to visit when we can finally visit Japan again. Awesome video!
Love you guys. Watching you two puts me in a really good mood. I am all over that oyster, oh my god that thing looked so fresh and plump, and as far as sushi is concerned, I love Tako. My wife and I want to visit Japan so bad. Where would you suggest beginner visitors that don't really like touristy areas to start in Japan?
I'm slightly miffed that Shinichi expected shops that cater to tourists would offer lesser quality foods. This is something I've heard said before, that tourists don't know what the good stuff really tastes like so the Japanese vendors give them lower quality items.
Coming back to Japan/Osaka in a couple of months.. I will be dining at as many smaller/family-run businesses as possible. Sadly I heard my favorite Okonomiyaki-ya, run by the sweetest couple, has closed down. We must protect and cherish these treasures. Love your videos, getting me crazy excited to come back to Japan.
This market will be great once more in the near future 😋. It's always a pleasure to have such a wonderful variety of market food show cased in your video . Thanks for the great work Satoshi and Shinichi tourists will love to experience your journey.
the demon slayer song was playing in the background when you were eating the scallops 😁 i would enjoy this market because i don’t do well in crowded places 😊
Bit sad to see it changed so much and shops have closed. I remember it being quite crowded back in 2012. Though I know tourists made it able for many shops to survive and thrive, I do prefer it when it is quiet, though a bit more people would be okay :) It's one of the thinhs I always have sort of a "problem" (for lack of a better word) with in Japan is how late stores open. I'm an early bird and it is always so long before I can even go grocery shopping. The tofu shop would definitely be on my list, as well as the tempura. Can't wait to have warabi mochi again. One of my favourite wagashi. The sushi looks good. I have the same; prefer akami over the chutoro or otoro. For sashimi tuna would definitely be my favourite. U don't like salmon or uni. Sometimes you see ika on a sashimi plate. I like that as well.
You know what, I really follow your restaurant recommendation whenever i visit Japan. Found many nice places that i keep going back. Now i cant wait to visit Osaka again in August. Love your videos. It’s so enjoyable. Keep going guys! Im your big fan! Love you both 💜
Agreed with Satoshi, happiness is coffee when you get up. Haven't been to this market since 2012! Can't wait to travel to my favourite place in Japan. My favourite sashimi is chutoro and scallops, and hate only uni 😂
I went here in November and it was very dead. But where else can you have happy hour high balls and benishouga tempura at 10 am? Really good food everywhere and has a great atmosphere.
What happened, I Visited in 2019, just before Typhoon Jebi came and created blue roofs. I was frightening to be 11 floors up and to sway, however that market was up and running at 150% in two days and was packed like sardines. This is death for the markets. Get back and support probably the best place in Japan and with Flowers, food and tastes you cannot believe unless you have taken walk/ taste and bow to superb food.
My favorite sashimi are salmon, red snapper and unagi. 😋 🤤🥰 That scallop was the size of 3 typical scallops or 5 bay scallops. It looked delicious!!! The oyster also looked super yummy. I love seafood. I hadn’t eaten it until I was an adult, because it was forbidden by the religion in which I was raised. Same with pork, birds with webbed feet, so no duck or goose and fish that has skin rather than scales. When I grew up and went out on my own I left that religion and began to really experience a variety of foods..and fell in love with all of the things I couldn’t eat for 19 years!!!! Thank you for sharing your adventures & food with us yet again. I hope you’re enjoying Hawaii, I can’t wait to see the content from your trip. Much love to you both and to your family, Sinichi. ✌🏻💕😊
I love Ahi tuna, toro! Not a fan of Salmon. I think I really would love the scallops and oyster! I’m a seafood lover! As for desserts, the strawberry mochi!

Was there, first time, on January 2020. It was packed! So many local and foreign tourists, far cry from what you showed. I remember buying from that grocery, fruits and sushi. Hope it gets back on it's feet and do brisk business again. I'm on my tail end of my 5-year visa, effective up to January 2023. Hope to visit Osaka again.
紅生姜(べにしょうが)の天ぷら…シゲちゃんも大好きなんだよ🤗❤️ My husband Shige-chan loves red pickled ginjer Tempura 🤗❤️ Oh, wow🤯❤️when you were eating Tempura, BGM was Demon Slayer entertainment district Arc OP song 😀😀😀👍
I want dango and donuts lol. Love your videos. Would like to see you introduce somebody who has never eater sushi or sashimi before. I live in California and would love to see you guys do that. Am scared to try it because over here it’s raw fish lol Ty again love you guys

definitely visiting kuromon market. Best video ever featuring kuromon market. good choices of must eat foods, deliciois and prices are affordable at the same time. Always watching first your videos before travelling to japan, very informative, useful and really fun to watch. Thank you so much Tabieats! keep uploading..
I don’t get why you bother with masks, you put them on and off quite often as you try food I’m not sure the virus is waiting to pounce when the mask is off. 🤣🤣
Kuromon market is one of my favorite place in Osaka. I’ve been watching your video from 2 years ago in Kuromon because I’m missing this place so much. Thank you so much
I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to afford travelling abroad but Osaka is one of those places I think I might never be able to leave if I could get there.
For sushi, I just stick to salmon (raw and seared), regular red tuna (maguro?), sometimes red snapper, shrimp (cooked nigiri or tempura rolls) and have to get a few tamago nigiri and krab salad gunkan. Toro is OK, but I prefer the regular red tuna too.
I used to work at a drugstore right across from the place from the soy milk. I didn't speak Japanese well but the manager didn't care because 99.9% of the customers were tourists anyway. I wonder how long it will take before you see the pre-covid Kuromon again with the massive crowd haha. Very interesting sight nowadays..
Man, I really miss Osaka and Kuromon Ichiba. I stayed at the WBF Hotel across the road in 2019, and had that same soy milk while hunting for breakfast. Ended up having maguro kaisendon from that tuna place and yakisoba from a mom and pop eatery in that market.
Wow those scallops a re a lot cheaper! When I came there it was over 1000 yen! I'm happy and also a bit sad (given the current situation) to see Kuromon this way. I had an AirBnB inside Kuromon market before and I had such a spectacular time. Thank you for showing us your wonderful videos of the life in Japan.
Salmon sashimi is definitely my favourite! Tuna is just okay to me, but I haven't tried any fatty/more expensive cuts of tuna, so I'm not sure if I'd like those more
Just started watching, I remember seeing a video of another time you guys were there! It is one of my favourite videos, I hope the past 2 years weren't too harsh on this place

That strawberry shortcake mochi looked amazing. I would definitely be all over that.

I love how you can hear the Demon Slayer opening song when Shinichi is eating the scallop haha

I was at this market in October 2019. So many yummy eats here. I miss Japan. I hope to visit it again. ;___;

I was salivating while you ate that sushi. Looks so incredible and fresh 😍🤤 and those scallops and mochi and tofu…I want to eat everything
Definitely want to try the mochi strawberry shortcake. Looked amazing and so delicately made.
I love you guys! I wish I could have had a bite of every thing you ate today. Thank you for another wonderful video!!

That all looks delicious. Strange seeing the market so empty. Hopefully things will go back to relatively normal soon.

Thank you for posting this!!! We have already booked a hotel in Namba area for a whole week in October, will definitely check in at Kuromon market!!!
You look younger now, wow! 😊 whatever it is that you changed in your lifestyle, keep it up 😊🤗
Miss Japan but don’t think I’ll ever go back

We can't wait to go to Japan, Osaka, Kyoto and Nara, but the border still closed to our country.. Hope open soon..

Satoshi, I agree 100% with your sentiment regarding coffee and beer :)
Was there, first time, on January 2020. It was packed! So many local and foreign tourists, far cry from what you showed. I remember buying from that grocery, fruits and sushi. I love salmon for sushi but butter fish is a close 2nd. You two always make hungry.
I also like maguro best! Japanese bestie says I'm a cheap date because I don't really love the fattiness of toro.
Just went there this Jan. tourist starting to come back always fun to have a food trip. The Drugs store price there rather cheap

It looks delicious 😊 Especially, scallop looks so good! wanna take a try
I don’t get why you bother with masks, you put them on and off quite often as you try food I’m not sure the virus is waiting to pounce when the mask is off. 🤣🤣
It looks like everyone is wesring them, there's probably a mask mandate on.
what is the best time to visit kuromon market?
Kuromon market is one of my favorite place in Osaka. I’ve been watching your video from 2 years ago in Kuromon because I’m missing this place so much. Thank you so much
Can’t wait to do my rounds at Kuromon Market. Will try everything you had next time. Hope independent tourists will be allowed in Japan soon.

“Happiness is not only beer, happiness is coffee too” would make an excellent sticker or tshirt lol x3
Thank you guys!!!♥️
I was at Osaka around late Feb in 2020 and there were so few tourists in Kuromon. I hope to see it be more lively when I visit next year.
I do remember the vid 2 years ago massive changes so sad what a bad virus we all had around the world!!!🙄
So many good street foods there 100% 👌🏼

This market looks absolutely amazing, 🙌❤️🙌
Wow video quality is amazing 😮
So enjoyable! I love Satoshi’s remarks on the coffee ☕️
21:09 anyone notice 😂💕?
Salmon sashimi is definitely my favourite! Tuna is just okay to me, but I haven't tried any fatty/more expensive cuts of tuna, so I'm not sure if I'd like those more
I hope soo much you may collaborate with RionTV, and I’m sooo happy street food tours are possible again🥰
Wonderful food extravaganza! Loved it. Take care you two.
Wow really different from pre-pandemic. But I’m also glad to see some familiar shops still open.
you know the scallop is hype when kimetsu no yaiba is playing at the background
You guys are churning out quality content all the time! Thank you kindly guys, you help to give foreigners a glimpse into your beautiful country.
You two are my favourite couple. What better way to enjoy life together than through food 😌
Happiness is coffee ☕☕☕. Love it! Thank you for a lovely video
I REALLY want to eat the strawberry mochi omelet!! It looked really delicious!
We will be planning to visit Osaka once the border opens and will have to put this market on our list of places to visit
We were last in Osaka in 2017. Food was great, people were friendly! Thanks guys for another great video 📸
