The starter pack has a 40 card deck. Its a mix of all 3 factions that come in the starter set. The deck is not the best but its a good way to start playing :)
FuZzionZ I’m getting the normal starter pack cuz I can’t pay an extra 10 pounds for the tcg set so I’m going to have to just get booster packs for cards, the downside is that the booster packs have random attributes.
first: thank you for making this vid ive been tryna find a vid for a "how to" on the bakugan tcg and this was rly helpful second: that trick at the very beginning of the vid (where u rolled all 3 bakugan and they ALL OPENED) was awesome
Thank you for this man I played battle planet back when it first launched with my brother and friend but I forgot the rules thanks buddy really wish the TCG got more support
How do you get more energy and when do you get more energy at that time? I know at the beginning you get one but the video kinda skips from the beginning to the very end rather then explain the middle of the game, still super helpful as a starting video!
You can energize once per turn during the energy phase. So every turn you can add 1 energy. There are also action cards that you can play to let you add even more energy. At the end of each turn all your energy will recharge that way you can use them on the next turn.
So can I only get 1 energy saved per turn? Or can I turn as much cards into energy as I like in one turn? Is every card 1 energy or is it a specified amount u can get from 1 card?
You can only place down 1 energy per turn. All cards that you turn into energy count as 1 energy. So on turn 2 you will be able to place down your 2nd energy for the game and so on..
So how do energy work? When you use energy to perform an attack or use a character card or upgrade or add baku gear, do they get discarded? And what happens to the cards that are flipped over when taking damage? Are they put in a discard pile like in other card games?
When you use energies to play cards the energies are turned sideways to indicate that you've used them for the turn. Those energies are now "uncharged" at the end of the turn the last thing you do is turn all your energies back so they are ready to be used next turn. When you take damage and flip cards over those cards are flipped onto the discard pile so they are discarded.
Really helpful man, mind if I reference this video in a video we will make on Bakugan? I think it will massively help out anyone interested in learning more. Keep up the great work. ^_^

Each player uses whatever Bakugans he wants to play with? - If you have several BakuCores. You can choose anyone you want? Hello! If you have several Bakugan you get to pick 3 to play. Any 3 that you want to use. Also you can pick any bakucore as long as they are the bakucores that your Bakugan's character card tells you that you can use. Core Bakugan can be really good too. For example the new Darkus Core Nillious and the new Ventus Core Dragonoid. These two are very good because of their evos. Also the new Aquos Core Hydorous is one of the best Bakugan out at the moment :o
Gate cards are used to play a different way. You don't use gate cards in the trading card game. I might do a tutorial showing how to play with gate cards in the future.
I also noticed that all three of the bakugan at the beginning of the team fight had bakucores. Do the victors of each brawl keep the core they landed on? Or do we roll them all at the beginning of a team attack?
The victors of each brawl stay opened and keep the baku cores they landed on. You only return the baku cores if your bakugan lost the brawl. You will also return all the baku cores after you finish doing a team attack.
@@FuZzionZ Ayye that covers it for me man! Thoroughly impressed 👏 and thank you for the quick replies! Can tell you care about your viewers. Keep it up bro!
Yes any booster packs from battle planet are good. Currently there are 5-6 sets. Battle Brawlers, Resurgence, Age Of Aurelus, Armored Elite, Fusion Force and Shields Of Vestroia but we have only seen a handful of packs from SOV. They're all usable.
@@FuZzionZ from where I live don’t have any stores nearby that sells boosters pack. If there are, they likely about 2 hours driving, so I relying on buying online with hope they would send packages with random card to build.
It means to reroll the Bakugan you're using for that turn. Close your Bakugan, put the bakucores back and reroll. Those types of card are useful when you miss a roll because it will give you an extra chance to "open" your Bakugan. If you have any more questions i suggest joining my discord link in the description :)
How does it work right now with fusion force because I have pegatrix x Gillator and it’s Haos and Aurelius so I don’t know what to do the card is Aurelius and haos but mainly Aurelius but I have haos cards in my deck, I am generally confused
For fused Bakugan you only use cards for the main faction. So for your Pegatrix x Gillator since it is mainly Aurelus. This Bakugan will let you use only Aurelus cards in your deck not Haos. It's only the main faction that counts towards the cards you are able to use in your deck :)
FuZzionZ ok thanks I didn’t know that because I thought if I wear to roll and land on a fist then turn the card so it’s the fusion it meant I could use the haos thanks for your help
If your bakugan wins a battle it stays open. It can't be used until it goes back into ball form. The only way to win is to do 1 damage after your opponent doesn't have anymore cards in there deck.
Yes a team attack can be stopped just like a regular attack. The last bakugan that ypur opponent used is the one that you will have to stop so the team attack stops. Lets say Pyrus Dragonoid was the bakugan your opponent used to start the team attack. Then your flip cards will need to stop pyrus Dragonoid and the team attack will stop.
Hi! I have a few questions. On first draw, is it 5 or 6 in hand? On the consecutive draws, do you draw the amount to refill your hand back to 5 or only draw 1 card? Can u play flip cards that is in your hands?

Baku gear can be equipped any time as long as you pay the amount of energy needed. If your Bakugan lands on a core that has the baku gear symbol -2 then you pay 2 less energy to equip a baku gear to that Bakugan.
What do you do with the new cards that have 2 characters on them?, Are they usable for both of the displayed characters? Also I need help identifying one of my bakugan, any tips?
The fusion Bakugan are a little different. You play it the same way you would play a regular character card but on the bottom part of the card it tells you how much energy you need to "fuse" the bakugan. If you pay the amount required to fuse it then you will flip the card over and your bakugan will now be stronger and will stay like that for the rest of the game.

Love the video! It's a huge help for us. I have a question about the 40 card deck and factions. If I start with 40 but can only use the cards that I have factions for, how do i get back to 40 cards? In the starter set you get 40 cards and you say you can only use the cards that you have factions for. Can you help me understand the 40 card deck rule? Thank you!
Thank you! Ill explain it a little bit more. So lets say you play Aquos, Pyrus and Ventus. You will only be able to build the 40 card deck with Aquos, Pyrus and Ventus cards. You don't have to use all 3 factions but you can't use Haos cards since you are not playing Haos Bakugan.
Hey I really like your vids they’ve been helping me get back into Bakugan I was only around for battle brawlers but I had a quick question for you can you use more than one ultra Bakugan or just the one for a deck
Those are "traps" you can place those type of cores closer to your opponent's side so they can potentially land on them. The Bakugan that holds negative effect cores will have their stats reduced until that core is no longer attached to them.
You can only place one energy card per turn. When you use an energy card during a turn it will become uncharged and can not be used anymore for the rest of the turn. The last thing you do in a turn is charge your energies back up to be used for the next turn.
What do all the single letters and symbols on the bottom of the cards and baku cores mean? Also can the extra damage be applied during a single attack and not just a team attack. Thanks and good video. I'm trying to learn this to teach my son and have no one to play to learn so videos like this really help.
The small letters on the bottom right just let you know from what set the card is from, the rarity of the card and the number of the card in the set. During a single attack the Bakugan attacking gets the bonuses from the core its holding and any attack bonuses you added by playing cards. Hopefully that helped :)
So when it has a faction symbol, whatever bonus is next to the symbol that means only that faction gets that bonus. And the F is a brand new mechanic. Its called Fusion. Its brand new so I'm probably going to make some type of tutorial in the future about that
You can only use your remaining charged energies so if you want to play a card that cost 2 energy and you only have 1 left you can't play the card. Remember at the end of the turn all your energies recharge to be used next turn.
@@FuZzionZ I saw that u drew the six card from the deck and chose only one energy card to put on the charged pile, how do u pay two or more energy then?
You only draw 1 card at the start of every turn even if you used more than 1 action card. And if there isn't any cards left in your deck u don't draw anything.
A Fused Bakugan has a main faction which is on the character card where the Bakugan is not Fused yet. When the Bakugan is fused during the game, it will act as it is both factions.
really great Video! I just played with my friend and we had a draw of B-power neither of us could modify our B-power and we were not sure how we should handel that are there any rules for a draw of B-Power?
Yes when u have the same b power both players draw the top card of their decks and see which card cost the most energy to play. The card with the highest energy cost wins the battle. Then those cards get discarded.
I recommend you buy a starter set. It comes with everything you need to play. The bakugan and the deck. If not you can build your own deck by getting packs.
Yes. You can place an energy once per turn every turn meaning on turn 2 you will have 2 energies you can use and so on. Energies recharge at the end of the turn to be ready to use again on the next turn.
Wow Bakugan has changed into a completely different game from back when I was a kid I've heard you can still use the old bakugan in the new bakugan game, Is that true? From what I've seen in your video it doesn't look like that's the case as the old bakugan never had character cards
@@FuZzionZ I meant the part where you showed us that you can damage your opponent's bakugan after your opponent lost bcuz the bakugan has less B power. Is it like that? I don't understand what you mean
No you don't damage their Bakugan. When you win a battle by having higher B power, your opponent will close their Bakugan and your Bakugan will stay opened. Then you will look at your Bakugan's damage and you will flip cards from your opponents deck to their discard pile equal to the damage.
Paying energy means you flip your energy cards side ways to inducate that you used them for the turn. At the end of the turn before you start the next turn you turn them back up so they can be used again on the new turn.
Hope this tutorial was helpful :D

@@FuZzionZ k another question what if the geogan/evol/diamond lose the battle does the card stay or does it go back to its precise stage also what does the magnifying glass icon mean also if a bakugan equip with a bakugear loses a battle what happens to the gear sorry if im asking alot im still have trouble understanding this game

So Energy cards work like energy factory or like money?
When can u play an ability card?
Fantastic video! Do you need the physical baku gear to use the baku gear cards?
No you don't need the physical baku gear.
What about auruales if you have a three aureales bakugan what type of cards would I will be able to use
You would have to use only aurelus cards.
I thought they weren’t any Aurelius cards
There are Aurelus cards but not that many. I would recommend to just not play 3 Aurelus Bakugan lol
Is there a website that can tell me which booster pack jam has certain card packs
If you want to see all the Bakugan sets and what cards are in each set I recommend looking on the Bakugan wiki page if thats what you're asking
Lol one more question what if like a howlkor was darkus and you had a hoas titan howlkor ultra can I use it
No you can't. You can only use evos from the same faction and for the corresponding Bakugan.
So how much players do you need two or three tell me
1v1 so 2 players to play :)
Hey I really like your vids they’ve been helping me get back into Bakugan I was only around for battle brawlers but I had a quick question for you can you use more than one ultra Bakugan or just the one for a deck
You can use 3 Bakugan Ultras if you like. You're not limited to how many Ultras you can use :)
How do you use bakucores with negative effects
Those are "traps" you can place those type of cores closer to your opponent's side so they can potentially land on them. The Bakugan that holds negative effect cores will have their stats reduced until that core is no longer attached to them.
@@FuZzionZ thank you so much😁, that was very helpful
I have one more question when do damage what happened to ur opponent
I was wondering how much is each charge worth are some stronger depending on the card you use?
If you're talking about energies all energies are the same.
@@FuZzionZ also how much energy do you get each turn like is one card equal to one energy or is it worth more than that
Each card is worth 1 energy. Every turn you can place down 1 energy.
@@FuZzionZ how much energy card can be place in play?
👍 I like your video
Does the card like pardox punch can it be used on any Baku fan just with the same fraction
Or like bubble net the as an aquaos can it be used for any aquaos bakugan
You can use any action card on any bakugan. You can use a Haos action card on an Aquos Bakugan.
can i use evo cards on a bakugan with the same character card But different faction???
i am still questioning when do the gate cards come in or is this a different game?
Soo can you put any amount of energy cards down it would just take the the card lives away
You can only place one energy card per turn. When you use an energy card during a turn it will become uncharged and can not be used anymore for the rest of the turn. The last thing you do in a turn is charge your energies back up to be used for the next turn.
Also whatever card you put down to be an energy will be an energy for the rest of the game. You will not be able to pick it back up anymore.
ok cool this is helpful i never really played as a kid but now i want to and what is the mat called with the hexagons?
Yeah its really fun! I had the mat custom made. I bought the design and had it made.
@@FuZzionZ Oh ok i was looking to buy one somwhere.
Well I bought the design from Matrix Mats and got the mat made with Inked Gaming.
@@FuZzionZ Oh thanks ill look into it :) and the vid was awesome!
How long did that 3 bakugan stunt take at the beginning?
It was literally first try lol
Oh good job
@@FuZzionZ you were the first person ever to heart a comment of mine, you win a cookie:🍪
how do you build a deck that has multiple factions?
if you have like 3 bakugan of different factions can you use like a darkus card if you have darkus bakugan for a pyrus bakugan
Yes you can use a darkus card on a pyrus bakugan
@@FuZzionZ wow you replied fast thanks
@@FuZzionZ very helpful
Sir, how does credit card work? Does it work like action cards?
What do all the single letters and symbols on the bottom of the cards and baku cores mean? Also can the extra damage be applied during a single attack and not just a team attack. Thanks and good video. I'm trying to learn this to teach my son and have no one to play to learn so videos like this really help.
The small letters on the bottom right just let you know from what set the card is from, the rarity of the card and the number of the card in the set. During a single attack the Bakugan attacking gets the bonuses from the core its holding and any attack bonuses you added by playing cards. Hopefully that helped :)
How does it apply when a faction symbol or something else is before a damage or B power?
Also for the battle gear version what does the F: mean?
So when it has a faction symbol, whatever bonus is next to the symbol that means only that faction gets that bonus. And the F is a brand new mechanic. Its called Fusion. Its brand new so I'm probably going to make some type of tutorial in the future about that
Ok, cool, thanks!
What does the snakesoword symbol mean
Its called "Shadow Strike". Bakugan with Shadow Strike can not have their stats reduced.
If I need pay two or more energy, but there is only one charged card, then how does it work
You can only use your remaining charged energies so if you want to play a card that cost 2 energy and you only have 1 left you can't play the card. Remember at the end of the turn all your energies recharge to be used next turn.
@@FuZzionZ I saw that u drew the six card from the deck and chose only one energy card to put on the charged pile, how do u pay two or more energy then?
You can only place one energy per turn so on turn 2 you can place a second energy and so on
If I use two action cards then draw do I only pick up 1
You only draw 1 card at the start of every turn even if you used more than 1 action card. And if there isn't any cards left in your deck u don't draw anything.
Thx
What if u have a bakugan that can change attributes?
A Fused Bakugan has a main faction which is on the character card where the Bakugan is not Fused yet. When the Bakugan is fused during the game, it will act as it is both factions.
for every turn do we pull a card
Yes you draw one card at the start of each turn and if you don't have any cards left on your deck then you just don't draw anything
What if you and the person have the same b power and there aren’t any cards to play
You would each flip a card from your deck to the discard pile and which ever card has the highest energy cost that person wins the brawl.
really great Video!
I just played with my friend and we had a draw of B-power
neither of us could modify our B-power
and we were not sure how we should handel that
are there any rules for a draw of B-Power?
Yes when u have the same b power both players draw the top card of their decks and see which card cost the most energy to play. The card with the highest energy cost wins the battle. Then those cards get discarded.
@@FuZzionZ thanks a lot!!
How do we get a 40 card deck!! Im confused...😔 please help
I recommend you buy a starter set. It comes with everything you need to play. The bakugan and the deck. If not you can build your own deck by getting packs.
Is there counters to specific factions?
you are super cool!
how many takes did that intro take?
This tutorial was great but i would like to know what the s shape on the ability card means
Does energy stack over turns?
Yes. You can place an energy once per turn every turn meaning on turn 2 you will have 2 energies you can use and so on. Energies recharge at the end of the turn to be ready to use again on the next turn.
Bro can you tell me where to buy starter pack online i really need it
I want to ask a question
Wow Bakugan has changed into a completely different game from back when I was a kid
I've heard you can still use the old bakugan in the new bakugan game, Is that true? From what I've seen in your video it doesn't look like that's the case as the old bakugan never had character cards
Yes its completely different now. No you can't use the old Bakugan with the new Bakugan.
That's means the opponent can damage your recent used bakugan right the one that has lost is it?
Not sure what you mean
@@FuZzionZ I meant the part where you showed us that you can damage your opponent's bakugan after your opponent lost bcuz the bakugan has less B power. Is it like that? I don't understand what you mean
I still don't understand that part
No you don't damage their Bakugan. When you win a battle by having higher B power, your opponent will close their Bakugan and your Bakugan will stay opened. Then you will look at your Bakugan's damage and you will flip cards from your opponents deck to their discard pile equal to the damage.
@@FuZzionZ oh thx a lot for helping me out😊 btw your videos are cool👍
Also how do u pay energy
Paying energy means you flip your energy cards side ways to inducate that you used them for the turn. At the end of the turn before you start the next turn you turn them back up so they can be used again on the new turn.
can you make a video that you show us what do you do with symbols
Thank you
