Stan Wawrinka One Handed backhand in tennis is one of the most dangerous on the ATP Tour. Wawrinka tennis backhand technique is smooth and fluid with early preparation and a deep takeback. His high racquet swing allows him to create maximum momentum and ultimately generate incredible power from that side.
Sure Wawrinka backhands are considered to be the best in the world but it is his forehand that brings him the most winners in his matches and ultimately destroys his opponents. His technique is simple and fluid and he uses his body weight and rotation through the shot.
Stan Wawrinka 2020 season has been going well since his comeback following injuries in 2019. Currently ranked world no.17 Stan "The Man" has a career high of ATP Tour world no.3 and with 3 Grand Slam titles. This year his performances have been consistent after a semi-finals in Doha ATP Tour event and a quarter finals in Australian Open 2020.

People always mention RF when talking about the most beautiful style. But for me there is no match for Wawrinka... He also has the best backhand ever. It's one of the strongest weapons in the history of tennis.

One of the best backhands on tour, might be running twards the end of his career tho. Wud be great to see him enter the last 4 of a slam once again before he calls it quits.

Hey Simon/Alex, why is he taking backhand early , won't that go to net ? It happens the same when I hit the ball early. What's the reason?

The only weakness I can sense is his slice backhand. He seems to have the contact point too far in front with a more open racquet face compare to Fed and others with the modern kniving slice. Everything else is great .

His slice is always so deep and consistent and goes up to down. I don't think it's a weakness at all. He just doesn't use it to attack because he can hit high one handed backhands properly and consistently, unless most other onehanders.
