I’ve learned my local Lowe’s arrival schedule. I picked up a syngonium wendlandii last weekend! I was like, no way 😮 There was ONE! Last night they were just getting the new shipment out. I gasped, another shopper looked over at me, a young mom holding a baby. I said omg it’s a cebu blu 😍 Turns out she’s a planty girl too. This is the first time I’ve seen a cebu blu in a big box store! I’ve been on the look out all summer!!! I dug through the boxes and found one more Cebu blu.
Wow good finds!!! I always wish the growers can send more hard-to-find varieties to each store because if we miss the shipment, we have to wait for a LONG time 🥹

This was a really fun video. We don’t get those kind of houseplants here in Oregon. It makes me jealous. But I guess it saves me money or I’d spend more.
I live in oregon and they don’t have hardly any inside houseplants beyond the ordinary. I wish they carried all they do in the east coast Lowes. Especially down south.

I wanted to buy that syngonium from Steve's Leaves but they were sold out. I have not yet seen it in the wild!
I went to every Lowes within 50mi of me in New York…no curtisii, no wendlandii. 😢I’ll keep hunting!

I saw a Wenlandii in a dish garden in May '22 at a Utah grocery store (Kroger). Yes, I confess I bought it and removed the other ordinary plants.

My sister came across a pink princess at a Meijer in evergreen park il. Not sure the price but they’re hitting the markets soon.
PPP have been showing up at Krogers and Meijers all over for $30-40....

Wooooow, Lowe's in other States are different than the LOWE'S in New York.....They don't carry any of the plants mentioned in the video......
