This song is about loving yourself but it isn’t negating the fact that if something is in your control, you should change it. It’s actually been along my journey to changing things that I’ve found so much grace and love for myself. There’s things you can’t erase about yourself when you get dressed in the morning. There’s things you’re not going to love when you look in the mirror. There is a beauty and social standard in the world that will make you hate yourself. Fuck ‘em. If they can’t see your value, that’s on them. I’ve realized we are all big. Some of us can’t stop criticizing others. Some of us have big noses, big egos, big broken past or receding hairlines. We all have something we are maximizing in our own mind, but you are valuable.
