I actually had similar ideas early on, that perhaps to make more of the herb the snare was accidentally created. I initially thought that maybe the herb could grow because of some mineral in the soil, from the mines, but now it seems more likely the mines are just an unfinished sewer system (which is interesting that there is no evidence of mining material. I think that it’s possible the reason snare exists is because a bit of herb was planted with a vine. As we know the herb literally gives power and life, so it could have brought life to this vine, causing the vine to become sentient. I also find it interesting that garden rooms, and the courtyard are all associated with ruined structures. What if the plant was grown in the castle a long time ago and when the ruins of the castle were found, the plant was found with it. The hotel was built directly on the castle, and the end of floor 2 leads to a place further back in time.
I think that curious light is responsible for the skeleton door. Because you need a skeleton key to unlock the Rooms. And when you unlock the skeleton door in the infirmary yellow smoke will appear. That could mean that curious light locked the room. Why did he lock the room? Well, in Chedder’s theory about curious light he said that curious light wants to challenge us and learn from us. I think that unlocking the skeleton door is part of curious light’s challenge. And they are rewarding us with the herb of viridis.
I theorize that the Herb of Viridis is a "fragment" of a lost architect, what i think is that originally along with the 3 architects, there was a 4th one associated with life and vegetation, then, for whatever reason, the architect ""died"", and left behind some fragments of it, the herb of viridis being one of tjem, and the room where the herb of viridis is, is supposed to be like a "sarcophagus" for the architect, due to including the herb of viridis as a fragment of it and a lot of gold,and it is locked behind the skeleton door to signify that the architect is dead. And i think that in the upcoming garden subfloor we will find another fragment of this architect which is guarded by the vine boss, and after defeatimg the vine boss we end up bringimg back to life this architeft.

Everyone I know who actually scratched up the room around door 60, no not figure, game theory says it’s el goblino, but his claws are tiny, the real scratcher is Abraham as his claws could easily scratch the walls and it might explain why there are figure piles. It took me a long time to connect the dots when finally I found the explanation. Abraham is probably rouge like figure THE SECOND ONE STEP I MAKE (self experience) figure dashes over there. And there could be a room where the cabinet falls over and Abraham might’ve been in that room which explains why he went rogue scratching and knocking everything over.
this is pretty unrelated to the video, but okay. it’s also a good chance dupe is the one who could’ve caused scratch marks, as he also has 3 claws, and there’s even a special interaction between figure if figure goes inside dupe’s room, which means figure could’ve fought dupe on the way, breaking the room & scratching walls.

Plot twist: The garden subfloor never actually releases and the code that was found about the particles (I think, I don’t remember what it was) was just an Easter Egg that the developers put to make the entire Doors community think that it was going to happen and all the long although interesting yapping that Cheddar made was for nothing (0.1% chance)
This theory sounds like it's correct, what other idea is there at this point? There's so many indications around the hotel and the mines at this point to where I just feel as though we have just been spoiled with too much information about the update. I mean it's pretty weird that the herb is so protected and there's like 10 whole rooms dedicated to growing plants. You know, the plan could easily be another light that is, if they find a good way to give it a purpose also, if there's a boss appears in the subfloor then how did it even get into the main game and I kinda think like this.Plan is like the biggest thing connected to everything and I think by the end, we're gonna see the main entity who's been controlling at all. The one has been controlling the Vine and using them as a tax and has been collapsing and destroying everything, and that being none other than the groundskeeper, and I think in this floor the shares are gonna somewhat be a weapon. I mean, tourists of the hotel could just walk to the breaker room after going to the courtyard, and why doesn't it have a mini breaker puzzle to make sure visitors break in? It doesn't really make sense to me and why it isn't locked away.

both snare and the herb are plants and possibly entities, and each one interferes with the player one of them helps you, the other wants you dead i wonder if they are related in some way EDIT: i also doubt you would need the herb's effects to access it, that would require too much effort just for one attempt at this sub floor and is just bad overall

something i noticed a while back about the fuses in the generators there are 3 different colors that are required to power one generator, those 3 colors being yellow blue and red. there are also 3 architects, which are curious light, guiding light and mischievous light. each one with their own color (yellow, blue and red) since the fuses share the same colors of the architects, i have a theory that the fuses are meant to symbolize them.

Or the veridis “light” is a light that makes the medicine and other healing stuff, this would explain why bandaids heal what surgery would have to do. What if, veridis is something like an architect, as in they are a light that wants to help the player without making their presence known

I have a small theory: I think cannonicly we use the herb of Viridis in the hotel, so we survive the elevator crash but loose the effect

The one has been controlling the Vine and using them as a tax and has been collapsing and destroying everything, and that being none other than the groundskeeper, and I think in this floor the shares are gonna somewhat be a weapon. Where we use them against the plans like the void trap lake, along with snare and I think by the end, we're gonna have to deal with a boss battle similar to the Ferris whale one and bending the ink machine chapter 4, where we use it to destroy the Vine, arms and stuff and then. Just finish it off. And I think when we exit, we go through the big door at door 99 and we enter the through the basement in the Courtyard.
And I think the statue might just be of like an entity or something make that abraham lincoln one who knows?Maybe you could unlock both of them and there might be something with Abraham and the garden subfloor I don't know. I just feel like Abraham. Genuine won't be an entity like the rest, but instead be like the prototype or something of doors being the secret master entity

Chezman, what's your opinion on door 100, other than being a breaker room for the hotel, why DOES it exist? I mean, tourists of the hotel could just walk to the breaker room after going to the courtyard, and why doesn't it have a mini breaker puzzle to make sure visitors break in? It doesn't really make sense to me and why it isn't locked away.
perhaps the tourists know its dangerous and we see once the powers on there is water left over which figure feels pain in so yea.

something i noticed a while back about the fuses in the generators
there are 3 different colors that are required to power one generator, those 3 colors being yellow blue and red. there are also 3 architects, which are curious light, guiding light and mischievous light. each one with their own color (yellow, blue and red)
since the fuses share the same colors of the architects, i have a theory that the fuses are meant to symbolize them.
I thought it was a pretty obvious reference though?
Maybe they use very very VERY tiny amounts of their power to power up the generator
@@BigBlackholeor maybe the fuses are meant to represent the 3 architects. after all, they’re EXACTLY the same as in the rooms entrance painting. guiding light is on the left, red light is on the right, and curious light is in the middle.
and another thing worth noting: guiding light is almost always already inserted by itself, curious light is rarely inserted by itself, but the red light is NEVER inserted by itself.

What if the herb of veridis is one of the lights but is trapped inside of a plant? Or the veridis “light” is a light that makes the medicine and other healing stuff, this would explain why bandaids heal what surgery would have to do. What if, veridis is something like an architect, as in they are a light that wants to help the player without making their presence known
