  • Replacing the wiring harness on this 300zx was a lot simpler then I thought it would be. I hope you envy and it helps someone needing to do the same work.

      Thanks for watching the video and I’m really glad it’s helping. that’s my goal with these z32 videos. Not many people wanna work on them cause it’s “too hard” to work on lol but I really don’t think it’s that bad. As long as I have some of these to work on I’ll keep uploading.

    Dude sick video! I’m doing a lot of work to my 90 na and I might as well redo the harness. That’s why I came across your video because I’m looking into doing mine myself.

      Thank you!! That’s good to hear man im happy to hear that others are still putting in work on these Z. If your engine is already out it will be a hell of a lot easier then it was for me but dont let that stop you its not impossible.

      It could have been repaired and replaced all the connectors but the Customer wanted it to be replaced.

    Did your new wiring harness come with labels because I’m having troubles with figuring out which wires go where?

      @fixitish  10 месяцев назад

      No mine didn’t. I had to use a wiring diagram to figure out the injectors and coil connectors

    Is there are negative to blocking off the coolant lines that go to the heater core? I heard you’re usually supposed to re route them so the coolant keeps flowing through the block. If there’s nothing to worry about then I definitely want to do this.

      I’ve ran them this way on one other z32 besides my own and it works fine. I had my z31 blocked off the same way and it never overheated in the crazy Arizona heat. This also looks way cleaner gets rid of all the mess up hoses these engines have. Once mine is running again I’ll make an update on how they are working out this time around
