That's actually pretty accurate for dps. Every class does at least an order of magnitude more than sorc, which would be 1000%. Even necro bone spirit hits for 1.6bil every 2 seconds. CL would have to hit for like 60-80mil at MINIMUM to approach this
Give the Druid and Sorcerer and Necromancer an extra aspect slot somehow and you don’t have to buff everything and it creates builds!!! Druid - can wield 2H and Totem at attack speed cost. Sorc - + 1 amulet or enchantment Necro - +1 ring Or add a micro slot that’s like a half aspect. The opposite of amulet/2H. Necros are doing fine but it would open up so many builds and you wouldn’t feel majorly punished taking a 2H. 1H would still be valuable due to the variety options.
I think you gotta still do frozen orb and then lightning. Use frozen orb necklace but with pants for lightning. New unique Staff. Im gonna try that when season 5 comes out. Switching my hits from Chain lightning and Frozen orb as far as play style. Idk 🤷♂️. Might have a higher damage threshhold.
Teleport nerfed, focus nerfed, flame shield nerfed, ice armor nerfed, Debilitatin Roar nerfed, Shadowblight nerfed, Victimize nerfed, etc Meanwhile, Barb holding one button to auto-attack with Bash... Yeah, this game is perfectly (un)balanced. They will nerf everything to the ground outside the Gushing Wounds of course. And Barb will get 50% Polearms buff and new Aspect to pull in and do another 10%[x] dmg. I played also a bit with this new Unique and it's terrible. Where and how to report the feedback?

Alright man, I’ve been doing a tiny bit of cooking. What if you max CDR on Ice Blades and with conjuration mastery. I think you can get a sub 3-4 second CD Ice blades. With the Ice Blades weapon temper you can get 100% chance to summon 2 blades per cast. Ice blades reduce its own cd by -5 seconds per attack. If you go for the +10 AS per blade out. You COULD get around 16 ice blades floating around. That’s assuming 1 cast per second. Maybe you could get it under that once it’s rolling.

If this goes live, I may go from pre-order of the expac to never playing another of their games again. I have never seen a company frequently create beloved classes in a game and trash them like Blizzard. See: shock sorc, HS Priest, god knows how many others. "Do you love this class? Here's a new toy! I don't like complaining but this is insane. Sorc quite literally needs a 900% damage buff to even be in the same galaxy as the others. AND that would still make it the lowest dps by far. Lets just assume you can hit for 5 million avg like in frozen orb/blizz. Multiply that by 10 (900%) and it would still take 20 main casts to reach 1bil dealt, which these classes crank out every 1-2 sec in their sleep
Really wish they would do something to buff Sorc, I’m so sick of the constant nerfs. Especially when Barbs have been hitting for billions of damage since release.
Bro not a 50% buff give it a couple hundred % and see if it works you should be able to do about 130 with a good build and the pristine top of the line all fully built guys should do about 150 or 60ish

Solo Pit 100 should be like a park walk. Let us know once you do 140+ pit solo (including the boss fight) then we can talk if a build/class is underperforming or not when compared to others.
Hopefully Blizzard is listening … Sorc & Druid players won’t continue being the punching-bag of every Season indefinitely … why they insist on forcing every player in the game to play a Barb if they want to do any damage is absolutely frickin’ mind-boggling … and infuriating!
Seeing what the new chain lightning sorc will be like on the S5 (melee, no dmg, and forced to collect crackling energy, one of the worst mechanics in the game), it will be the perfect time to uninstall the game and not pay for the expansion
