That's an interesting 3rd step. It goes Heel(right), heel (left),back 23 (left foot), leap 23 (Right foot), hop (right foot) 234567, leap 23(right), leap 23 (left)...than repeat with the left foot. Right? i have never saw a step with such a different mix to it, for a basic dance.
It's the 1 part of a 1-2-3......the leg that goes to the front.....comes up with a knee, WHICH CAUSES your back foot of that same leg.....not to be able to fully kick your bum.....so when the leg goes to the front....keep that knee as parallel as possible to the standing knee and you can feel your foot in the back being able to kick your bum more fully AND higer

try not to "knee" your threes.....instead keep your knees as much back as possible.......
I think instead of "camel toe", you mean 'pigeon toe.' Those are two extremely different expressions!!! yikes
