I'm glad you found the video helpful and that math may be your favorite subject again. It will be difficult at times, but working through that difficulty is when you'll learn the most. Study well.
Thank you, Mr. Anderson, for your excellent teaching. I am disabled and my hobby is math. I love ALGEBRA AND QUADRATICS!!!! Thank you for sharing your expertise.
You're welcome. I'm glad you found the video helpful. Yes, online math classes can be difficult, but keep at it and stay determined. It takes a lot of hard work, but it will be worth it in the long run. Study well.
You guys are the real heroes. Not the cops or firemen, but the real teachers whom take their time even outside of the classroom to educate students to gain knowledge to reach to the next level.
I missed class today because I overslept lol. This was VERY helpful and easy. Thought I might as well say thanks with the 50 mins I saved from not going to class. Might miss a few more days lol...youtube teachers seem easier to learn from than my school teacher. Thanks waszel
Yes, learning math can be challenging, and online can make learning it even more challenging, but keep at it. I'm glad you found the video helpful. Study well.
I greatly appreciate this video. I am an adult student and unfortunately my state no longer requires testing to get into college gen ed courses. If you took algebra 2 in high school ( in my case...14 years ago) then you get placed in pre-cal...which is where I am at right now. Your explanation summed up so much that my book did not.
I'm glad you found the video helpful. I know there is a push across the country to no longer require testing in order to get into college level mathematics courses. In my opinion, more thought needs to be given than just to place someone who last took an algebra class 14 years ago into a college level precalculus class, yet here we are. I wish you the best. I have a Precalculus playlist at my channel. It contains the videos I use when teaching my classes. In addition, I have several intermediate algebra videos (like this one) if you need a review of a topic. Study well.
i really appreciate all the help.. i watched your video and i have an awesome clear idea of what i'm supposed to do in this area of math.. i think math may be my favorite subject again.. lol :)
Thank you so much! Very helpful because I'm a high school student taking college math and I have no clue what I'm doing! Also, the online textbook is very vague and doesn't write the questions in fraction form
What would you do in the case of bigger numbers, such as a problem 8x^3/5y^y *. 4x^2y^5 /10y^12? I find your explain action simple, but these problems seam so much harder.
The very last problem, you CAN go a step further and simplify 4(x-2) into 4x-8. Just pointing that out for anyone who might be curious, or for anyone whose teacher is a stickler about simplifying ALL the way.
I kinda agree with others here. But since I'm re-learning this (old student) to take comprehensive exam, perhaps a bit more detail on how you solve. Other than that, give me more lessons!! I need all the help I can get.
The thing is due to Engineering terms. You have to finish the equation. If you have 4(x-2) you have to finish it step by step from every equation solved. Answer is for the last equation is 4x-8.
The best part of this online teaching video is that u can pause and replay what you didnt get without classmates judging you :-)
+Kazuma well but if you have questions no one will answer you. maybe someone will but you have to wait for a week or month.

i think so too.. i started doing that.. and i felt waaaaayyy more comfortable to do the problems. :)
Two weeks of this in school and you explained in better in 9 min than my teacher did. Thank you.
Thanks!!! it really helped a lot.My teacher sucks at teaching math and this helps :)
Woahhhhh thank youuuu haha ilearn more to you more than my teacher in math thank you again btw. We have an recitation tommorow thats why i reviewed

Glad I could help. Study well, and wash your hands!
I wish u had 5 billion subw
Whats great about this is that u can rewind it to where u didnt get how to do it and focus
Thank you my teacher doesn’t teach me very well so im really stressed out about math because it doesn’t make any sense so now i understand thanks
How did u get the 5(x+1) in the second example😊???
He canceled the 5 from x + 5 because he divided it by 5
This will help me on my quiz thank you!
What would you do in the case of bigger numbers, such as a problem 8x^3/5y^y *. 4x^2y^5 /10y^12? I find your explain action simple, but these problems seam so much harder.
What if you have a 6x^3?? Or an 8x^2 do you have to break it down more or?
This is so helpful!
(x+8) (x-8)
Guys got a question do i have to divide out this ?
The very last problem, you CAN go a step further and simplify 4(x-2) into 4x-8. Just pointing that out for anyone who might be curious, or for anyone whose teacher is a stickler about simplifying ALL the way.
Your a great teacher
For the second example why is it 5x+1 tho?
This was really helpful..Thank you !
Thanks men! I find this vid very helpful

HELP I HAVE A MATH QUESTION; shouldn’t the x-2 be cancelled out too on the last problem??
You made it so simple!

it help in my exam thank you very much
wow this was very helpful thanks a lot i understand when u teach but not my teacher lol

Thank you Mr. Anderson!
thanks a lot it hepled me for my exam thanks alot
Thank you this really help me alot
Wow this explained a lot to me thx
Why you did not reciprocal the right side?
what do do if the denominator is x^3-27?
thank you very helpful video
Thank u soo I can understand my assignment
Thank you so much, God bless you.
Where the 1 come from when he factor the 5 @ 5:04 I’m so confused I been trying to figure this out for a while I’m starting to feel dumb
Factoring a 5 out of a 5 leaves a 1 behind. If we multiply 5(x+1) using the distributive property, then we get 5x+5, which is what we originally had.
@@RandyAnderson oh okay thanks so much
@@robynglover5146 You're welcome. Study well.

i love this guy :)

got an 88 on my quiz bc of this video
Nicely done!
What happen to the 5x. You only factored the 6.
i love you bro even tho i hate math
Thank you i learnd ao much
like you dont have to factoi 5x? 2:36
better than real life teachers lmao xD
Why wouldn't it be 4 over x-2?
if you're talking about the last solution, it's because it's multipying 4 and (x-2) not dividing.
