Here's my story: I'm Congolese. Left my country at age of 10 because of the wars. My dad was an army colonel at the time. We fled to EU and I never set foot in Congo until 21 years later with 2 of my sons. My father has always taught us - when it comes to Congo - to love our roots and invest in our country (real estate), but in the same breath will not allow us to "have friends" go out clubbing and such for safety reasons. People get poisoned, rituals killings, organs harvesting etc.. But to me it was never a reason not to enjoy visiting. I never felt at home nor safe even in Europe. So once in Congo on vacation forbthe 1ste time in 21 years, I told myself and dad "fuck it" , I refuse to live this vacay in fear because I grew up fearful (war trauma, immigration, integration etc...), how can "come back home and fear my own". Got a total mindset reboot and enjoyed my stay. When I came back, I invested in real estate, like that yold us when we were teenagers, now building my own vacation home for my husband and children. Husband is Nigerian but grew up here. To him its the same : we don't fully belong anywhere, but roots are roots. He invested there as well for the kids and I, last year he took us there to meet his people and show the kids what belongs to them. My point is, dont let fear nor these media make you believe anything. Haiti may not be safe, but not everywhere in Haïti, not everyone in Haiti are criminals, there are enough precautions that can be taken to avoid dangerous situation. Thanks for sharing this! I'm a born-and-raised-in-Haiti Haitian. The country has never been in such turmoil, as far as I can recall. It's everybody's fault: us Haitians, foreigners with political and financial dark interests (mostly the big triangle : France, USA, and Canada). Mother Nature will have the last word on this!
@@emilio2647 isn’t haiti a false country why are the so call Haitian so obsessed in occupying this territory does this have something to do with the Dominicans? out of all the Haitians who migrate how come none migrate to the continent of Africa the land mass can hold all of them
@@blad89s65 Allow me to share a bit of knowledge with you... In order for Haitians to migrate all the way to the African continent, they would have to carry legal docs of either North American countries (USA and Canada) and/or the EU countries - even just to stopover. Why bother going all the way to Africa, if you already hold legal docs that allow you to stay/work in those 'nearby' countries in the first place? 'Home' is where you feel at ease, happy, and have opportunities to provide for your loved ones and yourself. So far, there's none of that in Haiti. And there's no guarantee that Haitians would have that in Africa either (I have African friends migrating elsewhere for the same reasons - find (better) opportunities). Therefore, (some) Haitians take what they can get within the miles until they can kick open doors of better opportunities.
@@Jerson.Cy7 true many got out to look for opportunity but remember Dominicans didn’t put Haitians on the island France did and when it came a chance for them to go back home they’ve chosen to occupy maintain and recolonize the Dominicans so they used the same tactics that was done to them on the Dominicans until they were exiled by the Dominicans from their territories they literally have no legal obligation to help Haiti

For anyone watching this and wondering how does this happen to a country, look up the 1825 treaty from France. Making Haiti pay for independence and pay reparations for Slavery done onto them. Making Haiti pay 150 million back then. In todays money ( $560 Million ) and they just paid off that debt in 2022. Long live Toussaint Louverture
So our American government just sits back and watch this happen but sends billions to some country for some war we have nothing to do with. Why doesn’t someone address this?

I remember watching this Video I didn't know it got deleted. I'm so sorry Chris. Happy New Year Chris. Sending love from Zambia Livingstone
Imagine how many children went hungry and couldn’t get a decent education because their country fought off slavery & won. & the world sat back while France built Eiffel Tower and stuffed itself with the resources from Haiti. Long live Toussaint Louverture
Just educated me
All I know is the enemy had a plan they used violence, drugs, corrupt, government just to unknowedge Haiti just because of fear.
Same
So our American government just sits back and watch this happen but sends billions to some country for some war we have nothing to do with. Why doesn’t someone address this?
Don't get it, if Haiti actually liberated themselves, why still pay money to France?
Prayers for SEAN you keep saying oh it’s his job! We get ourselves into mess unfortunately!
I could never do this. This type of shit deserves thousands possibly even millions of views. This dude is risking his life for content and I respect it.
Being in America and just seeing people throwing away there freedom and not being grateful for how privileged they are sucks because there are people in horrible situations that would love to have a opportunity at a fresh start or to just live a good life
I agree with you.
black americans really dont know how blessed they are. cone to ghana and see how we live here

He said $3600 for that Draco that is insane but when he said $.50 American dollars a year for a place to live that’s sad that’s really sad Haiti is the poorest place in the world ! All these rappers in Florida that have Haitian roots need to start doing something for their country they can afford it and they can do a lot of help there

The world abandoned Haiti, and that is something that is just sad, but I think the Haitian spirit is alive, one day I hope a revolution can wipe out Haiti's national enemy: corrupt officials.

Wow! I got the same radical firearms RF15. pretty solid gun! Manufactured in my state of Texas and now in Haiti haha that’s crazy
Yet the guys don’t even have money to feed themselves but have expensive big guns , now we got question those pink ppl of America cause when you armed those uneducated vulnerable folks , you know they gone used their guns for bad intentions, but you can thank the usa…it’s going to be decentralized and kick all those colonizers seeds and their ppl out who r keep infiltrated our govt.
Sending love & peace to Haiti it will change one day ❤
