Really beautiful work, Dan! It really looks incredible! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
great work
I see pi boards are back in stores.... I think Im buying a few. I have been using out of the box LED controllers that are cheap and easy to hand off to a non-techy... hot glue is my friend is stuff like this.. drip some hot glue on. then the heat gun to smooth it out
Hot glue works well but I was worried about the glue warping and deforning the petg base.
Boy are those Pi's spendy!! Nice to see them in stock though!
Yea but there are plenty of other low cost options out there.
Ypu can litterally run this off a elrs moduel 😂
@@TweetFPV Dude that is the kind of stuff I'm SUPER interested in! Like my dji fpv v1 radio must have some decent hardware that is reusable (probably not though.. because dji loves proprietary alien tech..) But I look at all of this spare hardware with decent processing power, and wonder what other uses it could have.. Like an elrs module for instance, which I have like 3 or 4 of lol..
Hi, a technical question which I'm hoping you can help with, based on your experience: I crashed a quad and the LED pad is now shorting. Any clues as to why? There was a power distribution board attached to the pad before the crash and the LEDs were fried.
It's hard to say without having the board in hand. When you say it's shorting are you saying with a multimeter it's shorted to ground or when you connect leds to it the pad shorts out?
@@TweetFPV Thanks for responding....I'm getting the continuity beeps with a multimeter on the LED pad, which is where the I believe the problem lies.
Well there is chance that it's OK. Checking for continuity isn't always accurate without isolating the components. But in either case the board is probably damaged and would most likely need to be replaced.
@@TweetFPV Cheers!
