It was a fun listen, but feels asking for more to the story. I mean that it didn't quite sound like an end but rather a cliffhanger. If this is the first episode of a miniseries that's one thing, but if it ends here it's missing a bit more. I would have liked to hear the part of the story in which the corporation between humans and the rest of the Galaxy actually takes place, in practice, hear how it is done and what they achieve. Would be a peaceful and optimistic third act.
Is there a way i can READ it instead of listen? I like reading stories better than listening to 1 person reading it. (And i don't trust auto-generated subtitles.)
Thank you for the story..... BUT just another GREAT story that has no ending.... Just because he found them does not mean he made it back to give the answers...... #2 Why would you GIVE the information to the people that held you down and still hold you down just so they can use it on you....... You take the information tell them you FAILD then use the information to become better FIRST then slowly teach others...... They were to STUPID to find an answer to STUPID get the information...... and it cost them nothing...... SO WHY GIVE IT TO THEM....... They gave you nothing and made you do the dirty work so they could look and act as BETTER THEN YOU........ SORRY THIS STORY IS FULL OF HOLES WITH NO ENDING....... Go in and tell them you were to stupid to make it and then go away....... TO THE VICTORS GO THE SPOILS........
@@StarboundHFYI hope you plan another chapter. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Here is a suggestion: Once humans found the drifters, they realized that the drifters were more like humans in their thinking instead of the rest of the galaxy. Humans go back and announce that not only had contact been made, but a treaty of cooperation was formalized between the humans and the drifters. Then sit back and watch the implosion.
The part where he was called in as a consultant then being asked what his intent was seems like it needed to be little more fleshed out. Who called him in?
@undHFY , in some states in the USA, particularly Iowa and Minnesota, they are hotbeds for Greco-Roman wrestling, but in professional wrestling, it is generally agreed that, so it was that all roads lead to Rome, all roads lead to Memphis, Tennessee. Basically, yes, humans would absolutely match up against a vast majority of alien species in wrestling, as Kinnikuman/M.U.S.C.L.E. and Ultimate M.U.S.C.L.E./Kinnikuman: The New Generation, and Arena have proven in the past.

Something a bit different! What did you think?
It's a throwback to 1950's pulp sci-fi--which was and is popular for good reason.

@@vesuvius1318 don't worry the subtitles are all accurate, i do them by hand as i know its important for people :)

This one was more enjoyable than most. Triumph over a game rigged against humans, and claiming victory none the less.
If it's an endurance test, we humans shouldn't have a problem with it.
How would the Galactic Council react to something like the Cirque du Soleil or that Japanese acrobatic troup/troupe?
Reminds me of "Phule's Company." A very enjoyable but light novel about a military group of misfits being trained in uncommon methods.

Great story line, well done. Thank you for sharing.

Part 2, please
So, will they discover friend or foe? You told us they were an inigma, but a benign group or what? Interesting and well performed.

If enough people want it, we can write it!
Please do!

Its not the Olympics without wrestling.
Hmm true.. do you think Humans would win in wrestling?
@@StarboundHFY Really depends of what it would take to win against each species. Some probably would not be able to compete, ie; fragile exoskeleton.

should of had some Black athletes
The AI generated pictures showed the AI trained bias, but nothing in the story mentioned the races of the human athletes.

It's actually against the rules since they win every Olympic event.😂
