@@ArbaazBasha-qo6iv We had two of the 3 biggest YCS attendances this year though right ? YCS London had 3000 players & the 250th YCS LA was over 3000 players. Only YCS Long Beach had more with over 4000 players attend. If anything I'd say it's become more popular in the last 10 years

The fast pace of modern deters newcomers for the most part, but that isn’t as significant, as it was more mainstream until the 5ds era. There are literally LGS’s that are removing yugioh product because literally no one buys them (although that speaks more to how product quality has declined than the yugioh community being niche)
for me the stardust and blackrose 5ds packs are the most exciting to see opened, because they seem extremly rare... i think ive seen max 5 videos where a lot of those got opened

I remeber buying a box like that but for duelist genesis as a kid. Was disappointed because I thought it was a Stardust Dragon trial deck at the time rather than booster packs.
Coming back to Yu-Gi-Oh after mostly playing mtg off and on for a decade, it's wild the difference in expectations when opening packs. I think everyone is aware that on average you'll always lose money with pack openings. But like, in mtg I'm used to most packs netting around 30-60% of their cost in cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh it feels like you either get 50c from every pack or you get some ridiculous 25-100$ pull. All or nothing. Maybe I'm wrong though, I'll have to watch some more openings.
Ruxin the last two cards on those packs has a stone or sided square on the left hand side of card in different colorsmaybe that is the rare cards 🤔❤️😃🇺🇸🌎
Before even watching the opening.. i'll say clearly you can win , these turbo pack could clearly pop up a sick ultimate or even the Stardust Overdrive could ! Anyway good luck to you and Yugimo !

I stopped playing as a kid right around the 5Ds era, so it’s super cool to see some of the card arts and rares from the sets I never opened.
