Just a tip, when youre car is in sport traction traction control is still on just not as much as if it were was on non sport, to completely turn off traction control you have to hold the traction button down for 5 seconds til your dash says its off😊
I like those carbon shift paddles. What’s the best rpm to launch a stock r/t on the street? I’ll find out myself soon enough, just curious what others had best numbers at?
So what is the purpose of launch control like what will be a scenario that I would use it or is it just a fun feature to play with for us charger Challenger enthusiastic I have the 2020 GT I haven't ventured into all of these features yet
Basically it's supposed to hold the motor at a certain number of RPMs for optimal launch with minimal spin, wear on your brakes and differential. Pretty much drag racing, getting a good 0-60 or 1/4 mile.
@@bryan2408 It's pretty much just giving you a better chance of taking off from a stand still without your tires doing a bunch of spinning before gaining traction
@@imyanigmw thank you so much for your time also my steering wheel is really stiff it’s brand new and it squeaks some times is this normal? 2023 dodge charger rt
@@bryan2408 No problem bro and congrats. Sub to the channel, I got lots of R/T content, mods, POV drives, etc. Never heard of the stiff and squeaky wheel issue before, may just take some breaking in.
Power brake = foot on the brake and foot on the gas (to the rpm you like). There’s no burnout. You simply “launch” at the rpm you’re holding with the gas. Only difference is you can hold and adjust the rpm’s based on road and weather conditions to reach that sweet spot …every time! All the pros power brake. No one uses launch control except for messing around. Try using launch control with a Cat. Doesn’t work. Still, great video with a great explanation of how launch control works.
Ok, you try that with an automatic rear wheel drive muscle Mopar and lemme know how that turns out for you. They've implemented options like Line Lock and Launch Control because power braking or brake boosting isn't necessarily optimal. Not that it's not possible, it's just not optimal.
@@larrygarms7230 Yeah I got a Widebody Cat too except it's a Charger, this R/T has been wrecked and outta here for months and my Cat does the same thing, but like you said I'll do me

Appreciate the advice 🤝🏾💯
great explanation, lol thank you, i had no idea what this menu did before.
No problem and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the info sir! Just got my gt charger months ago and still finding out stuff!
No problem and enjoy that Charger bruh, it's a great car
Great video man. Nice car too. Love the paint color. I just got a 2023 GT. Same launch set up. Really love my new car. It’s only 300hp but it’s fun af
It's all good, you get the looks without the high ass car note or extra money on gas lol. Enjoy your ride bro and thanks for watching 🤝
I got the same color gt but I added the tech pack . Got it for 38k I don't know how to use a lot of these features for s*** so I'm youtubing videos
@@panglingaow what comes with the tech pkg?
Eyyyy!! Props to the Black Moon. Buck Em Down Word LIFE!!!!
Classic hip-hop my guy 💯
Nice car bro, i really like the color. Sounds like you modified your exhaust?
Appreciate it bro, yeah I had a muffler and resonator delete
i've been trying to figure out how to use that for years
Yeah it's pretty simple once you get the hang of it. Tires that still good tread and decent road/weather conditions play a factor too
What kind of muffler do you have on your car it sounds awesome
Thanks. I had the mufflers and the resonators deleted, pretty much straight piped

Thx 👍🏾. I'd say at 2500 rpms. Just have decent tires, otherwise you'll still spin even with launch control
Bro i would have so much fun in that much open area
Oh trust me bro, I definitely had my share of fun in that area and a lot others
Good explanation but dont do that in a active parking lot. People will call the police on you. Just looking out. Be safe.
Appreciate it gang and thanks for watching 💯
Me currently on low fuel 😅
😂 It's only right

street racing 😃
Pretty much 😂
Whats the default rpm for launch control for a 2023 rt i unlocked through the tazer but i don't have perf pages cause of the 7" screen only
From 1500 to 3000 rpms
I think you got to reach 500 miles on these before you can do it. Do you have to hold the break down before?
Definitely have the get to 500 miles before unlocking this option and yes you have to hold the brake down first
@@imyanigmw so it’s more if you’re on a race track? Or just on a straight shot on an open road?

Easier to just power brake.
Nope, you'll just do a quick burnout
