I retried it this morning. Worked great. Only thing the road was a LiL wet. So def. Had wheel spin. But will definetly be doing it again on dry roads. 👍💪💪💪
johnnypro I'm hesitant to just slam down on the throttle, but I think that is key. You would think the computer would allow you to gradually apply the throttle.
LOL......I think it would be interesting to see the three Hemis in a single race as opposed to one against the other. I think with Launch Control the 0-60 between all three will be pretty but in the .25 mile is where you'll see the difference. Just an idea...lol

Hadn't watched till the end before my previous comment. If you guys are ever in the DE/Southeast PA area I would take that challenge. So far my best 0-60 on a back road with no burnout, no prep and no launch control is 4.3 secs on my summer 315 Contis.

Old video but I do have a question, I have a 2018 rt 5.7 but it doesn’t have performance pages, would doing the tazer give me the pages and launch control?
Great video and at some point I still have to try launch control in my Hellcat. So in my opinion I think the 5.7/6.4 cars against a Hellcat on stock tires at stock size have a very good chance at beating in a 60ft race or 0-60mph. But as soon as you change the tires on the Hellcat to something other than stock tires and size (especially drag radials) that completely changes. Hellcats on drag radials in 305/315 sizes (especially Mickey Thompson DRs) are doing as low as 3.2 sec 0-60mph. The thing I found most interesting about this video is that everything I have read and seen online regarding launch control is that is sucks. Maybe it is like MDG said and its is because its being done wrong. Of course most of the stuff I watch and research is Hellcat related so it could also be people trying to use launch control on the stock Hellcat setups. I think in the stock configuration the Hellcat is going to melt the tires unless your trying to leave the line at idle. I mean its almost an art form to launch a Hellcat with as little spin as possible. In my first quarter mile pass I made the mistake of thinking because I had 315 Continental summer tires on the car and I was at a prepped drag stripe I could just stab the pedal on green. Ended up doing a rolling burnout pretty much through the 1/8 mile.

+K 1500 man once you follow my instructions and do it properly and you see it says release it will explode off the line like a rocket and pin you back like you're a P.O.W.! Its amazing! And it doesn't matter if traction control is off or on. It still works! Keep me posted!

Ran at the track last night twice with this and it just feels like easy mode for drag racing. Time was slower. Pretty easy to pull off but yeah i don't reccomend using this

I have an SRT challenger, I launch at 2000 rpm (stock 275 tires) perfect for my car, only problem 2nd gear blows the tires off.
