    Thank you so much for your videos! It is refreshing to find beautiful stitches that are not seen everywhere else. You mentioned in one of your comments that some of your ideas/stitches come from your grannies and aunties - may I ask where the edelweiss stitch comes from.       It could do, but I’d suggest you to knit a swatch first, because every yarn behaves differently 😉

    1st: knit all 2nd: knit 1, pearl 2 at same time and then knit those, 3rd: knit all 4th, pearl 2 at same time and knit those until end and then knit 1

      As with any lace stitch, you would replace the edge stitches that will be shaped with plain knit

      Thanks. I do both: I still have old notebooks and magazines with patterns from my aunties, granny, etc, and sometimes I design my own ;)

      Hi! Why don’t you try the Seed stitch? Knit a swatch and see if you like the both of them together. Take into account that the border should be made for each side of the blanket 😉

    So my dear wooly;
    If i want to make a checkerboard pattern for scarf or other patterns. To make 20 stitches do I still ad d on 4 or 8 ?

      It depends on your gauge. I wouldn’t add less than 1 inch 😉
