I think that if you tried to sell it on eBay as a collector or special Gran Turismo PS1, people would buy it instantly. You have everything, from the paintjob to the carbon fiber accents tht reminds me of racing cars. You got that mate, cheers from France !

I've tried custom painting a dreamcast controller and it doesn't work, when holding it your hand sticks alot more and it doesn't feel right compared to just bare plastic

As a tool guy in both maintenance work and building my Warhammer 40K and Privateer Press models. There is something so satisfying as watching the correct sized Phillips Head screw driver being used properly. Sounds weird I know. But it is very nice to see.
In this time of pandemic I keep imagining a custom Plastation One with the theme of the game Syphofilter with this same transparent cover but with a symbol of biological danger, the whole structure of green, the buttons with symbols of espionage and some hazard stickers on the device

That was one of the best mods I have seen!!!! Not the most complex, but the MOST stylish so far. My 3 fave games on the PS1 were Gran Turismo, FF7 and Resident Evil. I would Die for a Resident Evil themed mod.

Mine was always been the lens issue, Whenever I start a game I always pray the white with gold diamond screen would transition to the Playstation logo, and go in the memory card management

Hi, thanks for your comment. I did it intentionally, but since the logo is painted on the plexiglass, and the piece is easy to remove, we are able to place it in a straight way as well. 👍🏻

Neat idea for the raised profile wrap on the buttons. It works really well. The GT is wonky though but that's just an opinion thing and the great thing about modding is that you can, after all create whatever you like. Good job.
