I really like the idea of using vegetables in this. For me i dried out the skins in the oven, blended em up into flakes and just let the broth develop with a lil salt. But adding all those veggies is definitely what mine needed so amazing video im going to use this knowledge in the future!!

I am moving away from store bought stocks. I freeze everything in ice cube racks and therafter place it in a bag or plastic container. I learn alot through these videos, what supprise me is how people can take a beautiful video and make it to a negative. Im sure they also didn't know like me and google the video to give them ideas. Ill definitely try this tomorrow. ❤

@@dorannette26 I had the general idea, but I wanted a quick refresher. I have a couple of bags of shells now and I wanted a "quick and dirty" stock recipe. I have everything you use in house so I will make this for the first time. I usually use boxed veg stock for my shrimp risotto, but this time I want to go all the way with the stock.
Before I hit your recipe, I had one that used vermouth and wine and the other just dumped the shells in water and put a cap of zatarain's shrimp and crab boil. OMG.... Thanks again.

Over doing it all that needs to be done once the shells has been peeled is to boil it for 5 min or so till the water boils and the shells turn red
You drain it and have the shrimp stock ready for your rice preparation or for anything you want to use your stock shrimp
