I’ve been playing this game for like a week now and you taught me everything lol Another edit: it’s been awhile but this is still getting comments, so how you guys doing?
Just finally picked this game up. Youve been a godsend since im absolutely terrified of blindly searching for things. Also your indifference to being attacked dispels a bit of the fear i have of the fauna. Thanks for your work!
Yeah for some reason it feels like a way bigger deal to die in this game than any other game. I just started gaming like 2.5 years ago & with a couple of the bosses in the Witcher 3 DLCs, I died like 10 or 15 times in a row & always knew I could go back to my saves so I only felt frustration. For some reason I can't wrap my brain around that with this game.
awesome! right to the point!! this is like the third subnautica vid i have watched from you after trying to find a certain thing and it always helps, thank!
There is also large deposits of magnatite in the jellyshroom caves, good for 8-12 pieces of magnatite each if you drill them with the PRAWN suit. Also a great place for large deposits of lithium and gold. One load of lithium from here lasted me my whole playthrough (had around 20 left over)
This really helped with my sea moth depth module mk2. This is how my first adventure went: -Almost died to a crab snake -Seen a glitched crab snake that look really stiff and was straight in a vertical way -Got 4 gold, 7 diamond, 6 lithium, and 13 magnetite Conclusion, the cave is stacked but scary at the same time.
“.. Some sort of spaz out there.” 😂. These guides are amazing, and a huge help. Thank you! Ps. I don’t know if it’s the nasal quality of your voice or the audio fidelity of your mic, but it all really adds to the authenticity of this underwater vibe. Perfect 👌🏼.
I've been watching a bunch of different "where to find" videos, and I just keep coming back to ChemicalApes. Best, most accurate information, hands down.
I just want to say how much I appreciate these videos. They’re lovely, informative and have saved me so much frustration. Keep doing the good work!! :)
Was struggling till I started watching your videos. Now... I am decked out. Also love how your videos are straight to the point and shows exactly what we all came here for. Keep it up man!!
I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your help. I have an awesome base built with a moon pool, scanner room, custom sea moth and I’m working on getting the cyclops now. Thank you so much man.
Thanks, it's magnetite glore down there. I recommend going down there with a prawn suit. I found a large magnetite ore along with other large resource ones as well.
@@ChemicalApes how do u get a cyclops I have the bridge and the engine fragments but when I go to blueprints right next to it it say cyclops but when I tried building it, it said ingredients unknown but I got all the fragments though?

Decided to play Subnautica again as I only ever played it in creative and you have made the Survival playthrough so much less stress ful, thank you so much😂
Thanks for making this short guide. I’ve beaten the game years ago and came back for a new game to find I’d forgotten almost entirely where everything was 😂 Also I love that you left in all the crashes in your Seamoth, that thing is so funny to drive in the Jellyshroom Caves 😂
As a player how has just started your videos have helped me so much and I thank you for that, definitely a RUclips with subscribing to and the great thing is you get straight to the point great youtuber!
I'm a new player and was definitely about to quit playing this game before i found your videos. I love this game now thanks for making these videos so i could see its actual potential!
Thank you man, I got lucky with one of those one time-gifts when some nice soul gave me a Statis rifle with a fully filled ion battery. So I didn't need to look for magnetite until I needed to upgrade the Sea Month. You did a nice job at explaining where to find a nice pocket of it.
Started Subnautica 3 days ago like being dedicated to it, and because of you I’m almost close to beating it. But I’m probably not gonna since I like my world haha. Also for the people who don’t have a depth module, get the vehicle upgrade thing (also found on chemical apes channel) and just get glass and titanium ingots to craft it. Super easy and you don’t need to go to the aurora for it. Hope that helped! And thank you mr chemical apes

Thank you so much for these videos. I recently started playing Subnautica, and I wouldn’t have been able to do all this if it wasn’t for you! PS. 3 things you Need. #1 - Pathfinder tool - lets you mark the way back out (easy to get lost) and the discs give off a soft light, letting you see ores w/o attracting the snakes. #2 - Grav Trap - dropped on each ore you can see, tends to draw in at least one you didn't. #3 - Spare Water - I hate having to run out before I want to because I only had 3 bottles with me, and there's no way to get any short of going home. -- Also, I think the snakes are attracted to Light. I had my moth lights off - just blinking them now and then to find ores, and they ignored me. And when searching the ruined base... I really wish I had taken some raw bladderfish to boost my O2 tank.. but I was out of water anyway so... another trip soon.
You only *need* #3. I have used #1 about *once*, and #2 never. And you're wrong about the snakes. If you keep away from the shrooms they attack less. All in their description in-game.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. I've been searching for magnetite to get my seamoth depth module MK2 for ages. Someplace without reapers and within my depth range of 300M was perfect.
