SSJ Blue became a commonplace for transformations and any enemy they came up against until the TOP could casually rival SSJ Blue God power, which made it seem insignificant.

Whereas with GT, it always felt like by the time an arc was just starting to gain traction, it was already over and moving on to the next. Especially with Super 17, and how most of the Shadow Dragons were dispatched in just one or two episodes.
