Some reasons why the spectre is a girl/woman.
1. When you kill spectre with ruin, you can hear him say "she is down".
2. Normally a men's body is "normal" on the whole body, while it goes down with the spectre on the upper body, what normal girls have.
3. Why is your gender unknown? Unless you're a girl, and want to cover that with, voice etc.
4. I hear from people that they heard Ruin called spectre "Sugar", maybe Ruin knows more about her?
That where my reasons so far, if there's something I missed, comment it.
