My newest shoes cost 50$ it's ridiculous how people spend like 200 for some shoes
Shoes are the one thing that you can justify spending a lot of money on, fitted loafers or solid sneakers are important. you only get 1 pair of feet and you walk on them daily and need a good foundation. But yeah spending 200 bucks on sneakers is way overkill.

If you really want to understand then there's any amount of reasons really.
Personally for me my shoes are pricey cause my feet is dumb and don't fit the cutting of most shoes or I end up with blisters. Sneakers and running shoes tend to fare better but that also depends. I dread everytime I had to buy shoes.
My mother enjoys collecting good quality running shoes for her marathons. When the price is low there's a good chance the shoes will wear extremely fast or even spoil during marathon. She has way more than she needs but it makes her happy and is her only hobby so I don't judge.
@@salty3567 highly depends, I've got wonky feet and the only brand that fits right is a 350 dollar shoe from nordatroms or my rainbow flip flops. Naturally I wear flip flops.

I'm a fan of some good shoes but some of these prices are crazy...
The most I've ever spent was on globes ($120) and they lasted me for just shy of 5 years. Sadly ever since that original pair, the quality has gone down a lot and now I might get 1 year out of them if I'm lucky.
Most of those shoes will never be worn, certainly not daily. It’s like how people went insane over hot wheels and beanie babies. 5 years is really good for a shoe like that plus it certainly depends on how hard you use em.
