These are for the Sirra’s, which sadly, seem to have been discontinued. I tried to replace them this spring. I’ve owned the Tiera’s and liked them too. I just liked how I could dress the Sirras up a bit better.
Skirt, shirt and dirt Carley has to be a winner. In fact it looks like it can take a whole lot more than just the classroom. That was a great review. If I were a woman I'd wear them. All the best. Mark
Men's sandals are quite ugly. I'm glad women's shoemaker have figured out how to make functional shoes attractive. And yet, women continue to pay a lot of money for illogical, uncomfortable shoes. Go figure.
Thumbs up! Not sure I can commit to sandals. I stub my toes a lot. Also I like to have the protection for my feet especially when someone stands on them as you experienced. I do enjoy the feeling and freedom of sandals for wearing at the camp site:-) great review and tests.
I've been thinking about a pair of Chacos but after seeing your review I clicked on the link, then looked at mens Teva sandals. Hum ! May be worth looking into. Thanks Carley
Chacos are great if you don't plan on carrying them backpacking, but most Tevas are lighter. The lightest men's sandals I found were the Toachis. Unfortunately, they don't have any men's sandals with the Chaco look to them.
Awesome, I love the minimalist footwear stuff! I hear a lot of people talking about these (Teva) and the Chaco brand, they seem to have a similar market. Which men's Teva's do you suggest for something minimalistic, but still good for hiking? I was thinking the Teva Hurricane XLT 2 but they look quite heavy and I'd like something with a bit of a thinner sole but still thick webbing.
I was about to proclaim that Teva has some lousy men's options until I noticed the Toachi's look like they have a thick sole, but are less than half the weight as the Hurricanes. www.mec.ca/en/product/5023-977/Toachi-2-Sandals#reviews
Thanks I am considering these and a few other Tevas I have the Tirra, verra and I am looking at the sirra and terra float but not sure I love my verras but I want some more colors
Tough one. The Sirra's are definitely a good option if you want something practical that you can dress up a little. I imagine the Terra Floats would be a bit comfier. I don't think the Terra Floats were an option when I got these.
hello! Thank you for the video!! would you mind informing me something about the size? I would like to buy Teva Sirra Desert Sage. Is it true to size guide? cm vs size
Sorry if this is too late. I used to wear size 8, and size 8 fit comfortably. I've since had a baby and gone up to 8.5 and they still fit. There is a good bit of forgiveness in sandals. I still wear this pair almost every day 5 years later (with the help of some shoe goo), so I still recommend them.
I'd go up a size, especially if you have a high instep of wide feet. Since the straps don't undo I found they were a bit tight to put on for the first few weeks.
Wettable shoe hikes refer to trails that constantly dip in and out of water. There are tons of them in Southern Utah that frequently cross creeks or rivers; the most famous ones are probably at Zion National Park.
I've been looking for proper reviews of the Teva Tirra sandals & I'm thankful i stumbled upon this video. Thanks

They look like nice sandals. Last pair I wore was a pair of water buffalo sandals almost 40 years ago. Great review, Carley
Wow. I can't wait to switch to sandals in the spring. Thanks for watching!
Fantastic review! I love that they can go from work to a light trail. The special technical tests were perfect!
They were highly scientific tests. I'm expecting that they will be adopted as the universal standard :D Thanks for watching!
You put them to the test!! Well edited as well got a laugh! TFS!
Awesome review! I love my Tevas and wear them all of the time! Very cool about the no Velcro aspect!
Tevas are great. My last pair lasted a long time.

Aaah yeah I see them all the time and wonder about the illogical shoe wearer. Different folks for different strokes I guess Carley. Take care...

Haha. Keens are good for that dilemma, but I still prefer squished toes :D
You can Clay are very cute (staged or not). Love the tests! Good idea! Thanks for sharing, Carley!
Well, a similar scene did happen earlier. It just wasn't on camera. Thanks for watching, again. And thanks for pointing out the sound thing.
it looks really light! I never had these but I might want to try. thanks for the review Carley! Have a great week.
They are definitely light for a sandal with this amount of support. They were a great purchase. Thanks for watching.

Yay, it's back! Looks like some good footwear. I'll see if I can post some reactions for you to use up on Google Drive. :)
That would be great! Would be happy to have you on the channel.
Love this review and the music is the best❤️
Thanks :)
Excellent shoe review info and we are still working on our humor.
Thanks! I think you've got plenty of humour.

Awesome, I'll have to make my way to MEC and try them on. Thanks!
They look good! I'll have to show them to Cassie!
Ya, sorry, no men’s sizes :D. If she’s looking for sandals they are worth checking out.

Excellent review, will give the wife a heads up on these sandals Thank You.
Thanks! I was going to say they are at MEC, but they were just removed from the site today or yesterday. Weird.

Can you tell me the old teva zirra site?
No, can't find it, sorry.
Yep the lighter the shoe the better. Nice review. They are cute. Thanks for sharing
Thanks! They are just the right balance between supportive and lightweight.
What a hoot! 👍
Always important to have good footware
Thanks Steve!
how much is that
Sadly, they have been discontinued.
Due to the shutdowns i'm ordering the shoe online. I wear 8.5 tennis shoe. Would you recommend going up or down in size?
I'd go up a size, especially if you have a high instep of wide feet. Since the straps don't undo I found they were a bit tight to put on for the first few weeks.
Looks like some solid sandals there; They would probably work well on a wettable shoe like in Southern Utah :)
Thanks! wettable? I'm not sure I follow.

I see, Not a lot of those here. Though some trails just become creeks when it's raining hard :)
Solid review. 👍
Thanks!
Awesome video my friend
Thanks Mike!
Been wearing Teva for 20 years love them
They look great

thats why i dont like wearing these strap sandals. it gives me blisters. better off with trainers for hiking or boots. ^^. nice review.
My feet like to breathe. I ditch the shoes as soon as I can in the summer, lol.
