I just came across this video and your channel today, but for some reason I'm so proud of you for finishing the RTI! Congratulations!
Awwwww thank you! That's so kind of you. It was quite a personal #achievementunlocked moment for this beginner cyclist. 😄
CONGRATULATIONS! 121km. Great job sister Jade, well done. I believe in you! watching from Yishun Central. Cheers!
Congratulations, hugs milestone - it was fantastic to see Singapore again - missing visiting
Congratulations on your achievement! A professional bike fit will make a world of difference and spare you a lot of pain. I wouldn't go for BCM halfway through a 100km+ ride. Hope you attempt another long distance ride soon.
Haha I finally went for a professional bike fit...although still rocking the BCM on rides! (I do try to ask for less noodles though...)
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL Its definitely worth it to spend a lil more at first to try out several saddles, before settling on one. As well as having different sized stems to experiment with fit. Not as fancy as deep carbon wheels, but they can make or break a ride. Lookin great, keep it up
Congratulations on a really nice video and a land mark distance, over a 100K is always a milestone.
I still remember the first time I achieved it, it does stand out.
Great job. Weather looks cloudy so it's just perfect
It was indeed good weather for this!
The streets are lit. Good illumination. Congrats with your milestone
Congratulations. Well done. I must put this ride on my bucket list.
You should! Was actually do-able, just a little painful (mentally!) at points.
Congratulation ms. Jade! You did a great job!!
Thank you thank you! 😄
Looking fabulous, thanks for the video!
Thank you! Hee was only feeling fabulous AFTER the ride!
Hi Jade, just stumbled onto your video while browsing through some ideas for another marathon ride on my Brompton. That’s was some great achievement there, and perhaps some day I’ll get onto the RIR on the PCN, but I’ve to start very early. Thanks for the inspiration!
Good job, next is to unlock Century Mile ride 🚴🏼♂️🚴🏼🚴🏼♀️ Ganbatte!! Hwaiting!!
BEST cameraman behind you ...
Good ride... ... CATCH up on the road soon.. RIDE safe.
Great Achievement. Looks fun doing a full island ride. Holla from Malaysia.....
Looking good! Great views.
It will grow on you. Keep on riding Jade it will become your passion.
It kind of is now! 😄 Albeit still learning, still improving
power sister! yeah!
Congratulation Jade on your first 100km ride and this may be your first 100k view too.
HAHAHAHAA #whoscounting
I’m gonna train now. Thanks for sharing!
Jade
A thoroughly enjoyable video. To bonk is to hit the wall. When you bonk, you are riding on memory and your tank is empty. Eating is key to surviving long rides. You mention starving at least twice in the video. Have a very light breakfast before you start, Don’t start on an empty stomach. Carry energy gels in your pocket or in a “bento box”. Eat one every hour or so. They are easily absorbed and will “fuel” you. You will need to learn to eat as you ride. All your stops are for food! Do keep at it. Thank you for making the video. I think we share the same Chinese surname. I am a Chia. As in Sieh Sieh -Thank you in Chinese.
Thank you Jade Seah!
Hee thanks for the tips! I am terrible at eating food I don't find yummy - and I don't like the gels (used to take them for long runs back in my running days...). But might be time to start stocking up on them again...
Great effort... great achievement!! did mine in skate.. wonderful experience!!
Nice! I have not attempted a Round Island on skates yet, although I did do Coast to Coast on them!
I am inspired by this video, gonna start training for my RTI too.
Congrats.. wow 🥳.. can’t wait to visit spore 🚴
Congrats to yr 1st round island. I have cycled many RIs whilst training for my Ironman.
Just be mindful and careful on road. Personally I had 2 bike accidents previously but it doesn’t deter me from continuing cycling :) keep peddling 🚴🏻♀️
Thank you babe! I really admire you lot who can do Ironman! That sounds so daunting for me - especially the swimming leg! Stay safe and be careful on the roads!
Hi, can you describe what happened in those 2 bike incidents? Thanks
Great achievement…. Power 💪💪
Nice one Jade. See u on the road!
Thanks! See you around!
Alright! Nice bike 😊
Ride safe and sound.

Hee thank you! 😄 Same to you!
Your cycling game strong! But your smoker face game even stronger! Well done jade!
Thanks! What is a smoker game face though??
Great Job! Very good video!
Enjoyed yr clip , young lady , Me a cycling grandpa, my furthest ride 71km am 71 yrs old, All the best to you
Awesome job Jade! Such a beautiful city Singapore is and appears to be very bike friendly! I would love to visit and ride one day!
It really isnt that bike friendly unfortunately...
@@idevoru oh no, sorry to hear that, it sure looked like it. Well then please be safe while you out riding and skating! Take care!
Congratulations. Really encouraging video.
How did Jade manage to look so good throughout the RI cycle? Just the most fetching babe on 2 wheels. I'm smitten by this beauty.
Jade seah Miss Universe wan lay....
@@frankiehuangjianwei469 really arh? Didn’t know! Now we can all universally agree she is smoking hot.
@@carisacar ruclips.net/video/OHy_4mOAbIU/видео.html
Wow 😳 thanks ah LOL. Was really not feeling good at points!
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL ha….we couldn’t tell! But hats off to u, really, for doing the RI route and still looking fresh, gorgeous and chirpy. 99% of those I’ve seen who did RI ended up looking like they’ve just been through an automated car wash, the other 1% pretty much in ICU condition. Lol….so ya well done and yes, still a mystery, beautiful.
Great Video of Singapore!
Wow amazing ride ❤️
Am from Msia. Chanced upon ur vlog--- round island nice work-- guess that isotonic came in handy.
CONGRATS !
What an amazing experience. Waiting mine next year for this yr got hooked with mtb🤭😊. 2022 summer will be road biking😊. Ride safe
Was amazing indeed! I haven't yet mustered the courage to try MTB and the trails. Power that you are adventurous enough to try both! 💪🏻
Whoa, my friend keeps egging me to take on an RTI but I am always a little apprehensive. Your video has just encouraged me, Jade!
I appreciated some of your pro tips (although you also said you were a noob and I felt I could relate better then!) I also have felt the "bonk" after too heavy a breakfast when I need to cycle back. But somehow I always forget the next time! 😅
Are you still riding regularly?
Thanks for the extra info and motivation to conquer the round-island cycling challenge. My longest was approximately 100km before the scorching sun took its toll. I hope to accomplish this within the month. Cheers
If you can do 100km, it's a mere mental barrier to achieving a full Round Island! Start really early (I would recommend 1am) so you catch the sunrise and light morning sun, without the scorching noon SG heat! Good luck!
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL thanks. By the way I am a senior, so the energy level isn't quite what it was. If I were your age... LOL
Nice to see you complete your rideand thanks for the useful information you've provided. What is the cycling glasses you are using? The lens are transition and I need something like that.
Well done!! At 100km announcement all white hair brust out, lol.
Nice work :) that’s a great effort
Thank you!
Well done.. u make the correct choice by go anti clockwise
Congrats looks a lovely place to ride, nice and flat!
Well done - enjoy more long rides, and after a while, head overseas.
That's the plan! Would love to start with across the Causeway for now...but guess we have to wait awhile more for that.
Just surfing YT and came across your channel. Congrats on your bike ride. Beautiful scenery on the way. Great friends you have that went along with you for support and safety. If I may, I'm going to subscribe to your vlog and follow your journey...🎥😃👍👌👊🚴♀️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️💪💪💪👏👏👏❤❤❤
88km is still a lot. Great achievement :)
Good job!! While it's good to ride with friends to keep you on your toes, do not push yourself too much. it's important to know our limit. even professional athletes collapses during a game... keep safe!!
STEADY! LCK always a pleasurable ride down the runway shiok shiok! :D
Hahaha better when enjoying a nice draft...
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL heehee definitely, sista! My Mama loves it and always wants to draft behind me...like hello tsk! LOLx
Nice one. did my 1sy R.I. few months back as well. Ride safe and hope to see you on the road sometime.
Nice! And congrats on achieving that milestone too! See you on the road.
*Great endurance and stamina well done you are one fit and tough gal*
Thank you thank you!
Kudos to Jade! Not forgetting the cameraman too. Haha
HAHAHHAHA AGREE!
Impressive! Keep it up!
Thank you!
Thank you for sharing both this and the Jurassic Mile video. My son and I really enjoyed watching both of these vlogs. Thank you for inspiring us, we will do both of these together one day.
Also the Coney Island video was great too. Thank you. :)
Thank you so much! How sweet of you to say. 😄 The Jurassic Mile one is really do-able; you should attempt it soon! Just go at your own pace, and take breaks whenever you need to.
Well done! I rmb doing 51km to celebrate NDP51, miss those days
You can do it again!
What an inspiration and achievement!
Regards, American-Singlish.
Hahahh thanks!
Amazing thanks great video
Congrats on the achievement.... 125km around Singapore .. to visit family, I drive 798km to get home. twice a year ... Hehehe.... Imagine if I cycled ... Gosh...
Guess the weather is very kind to you too. Feel like doing a RTI after watching your video.
Was SUPER kind! Haha you should go for it!
Really Nice tour 👍
Fantastic! Well done!
Can you share the info on the van service ?
That'd be useful.
Good to know your own body and limit so that you know when to refuel. Energy gels/ bars are a good source for avoiding bonking. Knowing when and what to eat is as important as cycling itself.
Wah so fierce sia round the whole of singapore....next week can round the whole of Malaysia liao ...
Nice coolest video and editing there
Thanks!
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL cool Jade really replies 👍🏻👍🏻
Congratulations. That was so cool if your friends. Group rides are the best. I noticed that you were not wearing your cycling shoes. I were impressed with your video on purchasing cycling shoes. I plan to do my first 100 kilometer ride in the near future. I am doing a lot of 50 km rides, mainly to get used to clipping in and out while riding in congested traffic. Any tips?
wa so good and cool! Jade still pretty. I remember seeing her in person in a crab resto, piao liang! nice more please! - Love from Manila
Haha which crab resto was that! Was it in Singapore or in Manila?
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL as far as I can remember it was that seafood place in Tiong Bahru Rd. Was an expat for 7 years in Singapore that's why :) Eitherway, miss biking there too, Bukit Merah was a knee crusher area to me :D Ride safe always, Jade!
Bonk time / Bonked.. haha nice video. Having cycling shoes / cleat pedals will help immensely making it easier ..
Hahah I am proud to say that I have since moved on to cleats!
lets ride together! congrats on the achievement!
I really wanted to cycle around Singapore! Maybe later after all these covid pass! 🤘🏻✨ Congrats btw! Great route and video
Outdoors and working out is the best way to deal with Covid! Don't wait; start now!
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL true! Am doing it 3-4 times a week here in Indonesia.
Well done! Although they're hideous, tan lines may earn you some respect from veteran cyclists here in Singapore.
HAHAHHA, even so, I would still prefer not to have them tan lines!
If only we could look so effortless after 50km’s
Congrats Jade, 👏. The bike frame might be a little too big for ya (looking at how you stretch your arm towards the handlebar). Simple fix, just change to a shorter stem.
Nice ! Great Job !
Hee thank you!
@@jadeseahOFFICIAL Thank you for your wonderful Vlog too !
Good job 👍
Well done congratulation jade
Thank you!
Congrats on your longest ride yet! However, it is not considered Round Island until u hit Lamp Post 1. U also seemed to missed out Marina Bay Sands. Typical Round lsland is about 150 km at least. Then again, u have covered more distance than the average Joe actually, including myself. Kudos!
Amazing feat!! Have you ever feel endangered by the cars and heavy vehicles around you? :/ One of my fears
What a nice road bike ....
Very good! Now try this in Malaysia 🤪
Good job 👍👍👍
Well done! You inspired me to do RTI on my $300 foldie ... 😅
Wow! I am glad...although it will definitely be a harder and longer journey on a foldie...
great video and nice loop ride of singapore. Seems road is mostly flat in SG. 😁
Haha indeed, SG roads are mostly flat, unless you deliberately seek out the hills. (Even those aren't crazy like the ones in other places!)
👍Nice exercise mam.. Watching from Philippines
Hope to do RTI someday. Ride safe👍
U look so familiar. Nice Rolex black dial. At first I was thinking is VC overseas.
I take hydralite instead of isotonic as it does not have or probably very little sugar and it does replenish your salt.
Nice video 👍
Hi, a new subscriber fr. Philippines...
nice ride!

well done!
Thanks thanks!
Hi Jade, you shd go for a Xiaomi handy pump which costs abt $40 from Shopee. That's the way to go. All the best!!!
Haha thanks! Am doing ok with this Decathlon one so far!
Next Round island add lamp post 1 @tuas will be complete. 😊
Ride safe 😊
New subscriber here from Macao 😊
Hi and thanks for subscribing! 😄😁 I miss my time there! Got to spend a week in Macao some years back, and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Hi, thanks for sharing! Where did u get the clesr shades by the way? I love it!!
Shoppe
Thanks! Got them from Cyclist Mess. CatEye
so happy for you !!! is there any climbing over there in Singapore? cause my fist 130km im doing over here in indonesia i climb like 2000m of elevation after the ride im pretty much souless and dying hahahhaha
Hahaha wah. Singapore is generally pretty flat!
Use to ride from Sembawang to East Coast and back during the early 2000 with my Brother and cycling kakis. Started 5am and came back around 1pm after tokok and kopio.
My bike was a Scott CR1 naked carbon weighing 14.5 kg with a carbon saddle and mostly 90% of everything else to boot.
Miss those days though as I’m back in the Philippines. Cycling kakis use to know me as Hamsterchick my nick in Togoparts.
Anyway, nice to watch your vlog and more power!
Nice ride
Nicely done, how about skating round island next
Wah! Some of the roads not suitable for skating though let me see what I can do...
Well done Congratulations 🎊
Hee thanks thanks!
