I'm not comfortable of taking a taxi or car transfer at 5AM. If the driver will not show up then I will miss my flight. Happy and safe travels.

Yes they accept credit card, just got a reply from them. You can get the 5 day ticket and walk to the bus stop up north of the airport (about 45 minutes) and you can use the 5 day ticket there which will save you a lot of money (you can get this ticket at the airport)

We already have some experience with Greeks and we can cautiously say that Greece is reasonably safe for tourists. Also on the bus and metro!
