i like the book, but the lgbt rep is terrible. gay people already get stereotyped that theyre theater kids. and bisexual people (the other brother) already get stereotyped that theyre cheaters. and thats how the book goes. maybe im ovveracting though
No, it's fair; things are going to land differently for different people. For example, the gay theatre kids trope is so far outside of my personal experience and media consumption it never crossed my mind. Thank you for sharing your reactions :)
I like the idea of revisiting reviews. The more you read the more you grow as a person and become aware of new things
Yeah, I used to not re-read almost anything, but as life goes by I do find it more and more interesting to revisit, reread and rereview books.
