Awesome video brother. i am riving thru that area on leave on my way to Chicago and I am now going to stop and fish there because of this video. Keep the videos coming brother
Y'all were definitely in them laying the smack down. Kayak angling is all about getting into those spots where those fish gather up just looking for the opportunity to get an easy meal, way to get on them.
How big of an anchor is attached to that anchor wizard? I didn't notice it until now but the bow of the boat almost has a tunnel hull look to it. I bet that rig will cut some serious water
Thanks Chad for another great video. I'd like your input on the Bonafide versus the Jackson Big Rig. I was ready to order a new Big Rig until your Bonafide video's from Icast. Looks like the Bonafide is a great kakak, looks like it paddles well, but I'm guessing the stability prize still goes to the Big Rig. What say you?? Thanks!
If you look at the seat, you could see the second anchor leg was exposed. From what I've seen, those kayaks were in the Highest position. Luther called it 'almost dinner table height'. The low position is a high position for a lot of other kayaks.
Check the alternative to the Power Pole. Bernies River Stick. It's a manual operation, rather than motorized, but works just as well. www.berniesriverstick.com/

I am 6' 5", 345.
What kayak would you recommend?
What was the seating height that you guys were fishing from? Were they in the highest/tallest position?

I think I've been every hook set and missed fish sound chad talked about
Someone get that guy a ketch board and a scale
I'm thinking about getting an anchor wizard. Looks like it's worth it. Can't afford a power pole right now lol.
