Its also worth mentioning that the 8100 has detergents needed for a street car, while the 300V replaces the detergents with added friction modifiers. Personally I like redline because it uses the same group 4&5 synthetics as the 300v, but also has the needed detergents

How did you initially run the car to break it in? I'm currently at 200 miles in my gr and I am babying it, not goint past 70 mph and not going past 4000 rpm

200 miles them rings are probably as set as they'll ever going to be its all down hill from here!! hopefully you were introducing moderate amounts of boost in those initial 200 miles!!

What does the owners manual say about the oil? They usually give options based on scenarios of use. And because I haven't heard a single video say it, is Apple/Android auto wired or wireless? Thanks.

Wireless! For the Oil it recommends ILSAC GF-6A

@@circuitdemon_ thank goodness for the wireless, I'm tired of the cord. My circuit is in route. As far as the oil, lots of vehicles give options on oil weight depending on temp range, as in outdoor temp. Maybe these newer ones don't care and only give one option.

Would you recommend this oil or the oem Toyota oil ?

We recommend Motul, have always used this in our vehicles and does well across all platforms!
