Like if they saw him reach for that knife they would react and shoot him but if he uses the knife in his boot then he could've pulled it out under the table. Maybe purposely drop a chip on the floor but make it look like an accident and then pulls out the knife and BOOM sneak attack. Or maybe they did just mess up.
Wolf Tan let me guess.... farcry 3 is your 1st farcry that did you played haha... every farcry series are different story and different characters... but im sure there still farcry 4 after the success of farcry 3 but different characters again

Nicholas Abdalla I played it through. I dont see where its a good story. Its basically: *Oh noes we are on island* *Dem bad guys killin us* *Have to save* *Kill bad guys* And the boss fights are quick time events... Oh god, so bad.
Sipolkungs It was a stupid Bullet Sponge fight. I won it in the first try. Just shoot at him, avoid attacks, shoot, avoid. This game is not a dream, the text in the loading screen are all About Alice indeed, but Alice is jason and wonderland is the island. IT IS NOT A DREAM
That works because Alice in Wonderland isn't exactly a story about a dream anyway, but rather just a girl's adventure in a wonderland. it been years since I saw this masterpiece and yet the fact that when I saw this as a kid the music at 3:36 was so perfectly timed and captured the tragedy of this scene so well I couldn’t envision it any other way.
I think I started to get a bit of the whole Vaas dream sequence for a second. There’s two meanings that I can see. One is that Vaas is proving that he’s the other side to Jason, part of the reason he’s come so far and embraced the island’s insanity so well. And the other meaning that makes a bit more sense(possibly) is that Vaas is showing that experience and such wise, they’re one in the same. He’s warning Jason that Vaas’ sister will screw him over and bite him in the ass at the end the same way she did to Vaas. He’s showing that he was the same as Jason possibly, and if he follows Vaas’ sister like Vaas did, he’ll end up the same.
There was no better choice for a VA for vaas than Michael Mando- They actually rejected him at first with the character they had but called him back later to design Vaas around his audition. Vaas is by far one of my all time favourite antagonist in any game
I was kind of hoping for more from the boss battle with Vaas. I, mean, the whole trippy cut scene thing was cool in a sense, but I was hoping for something a little more satisfying. The developers did such an awesome job creating this intriguing and memorable character only to have you kill him in such an anticlimactic way. I'm sure some people thought it was cool, but for me, I wanted something more
i was pretty disappointed when i killed Vaas in the middle of the game... they shouldve made him the main villain... and i was sad when Sam died, i liked him, even though he was german :D

Here is a theory, Vaas is another side of Jason and he doesn't really exist. Jason is hiding his insane side. That is why in the beginning you are in a cage because Jason is blocking out his good side and embracing his insane side and murders his friend while his good side is trying to hold the bullet wound in his dream. Slowly across the game you become less and less sensitive to violence and eventually kill your insane side because you no longer need it to kill a person without remorse. One Piece for Life the bullet hitting the lighter is Jason's bad side trying to get inside of his good and in a way kill it. You have to think of the people as personalities instead of people
Alfie B I love your theory dude thanks for explaining it. That just makes the game even more epic and a genius move on Ubisoft's move of a shocking reveal in Far Cry 3.
They made Vaas death so unclear that maybe they can pull off the "I'm not really dead" thing. C'mon I mean Vaas and Hoyt were bad guys but Jason was so unlikeable too, he's just this rich snob who has friends that you hate in a movie and only becomes a hero because of the players control.
I doubt they can pull that off. Vital organs were destroyed by those stabs, and from a knife that old infection would occur if he didn't die from blood loss which he most certainly would of. Trust me, I wish they could bring him back because he was a great character, but you can only bend reality so much until it becomes unnecessarily stupid.
MajorArtillary Notice how in both cases he kills Vaas and Hoyt, Jason enters some sort of dream/acid induced level. In Hoyt's case, the guards disappear and after the dream fight the guards and Hoyt without the knives lodged on his head are dead all of a sudden, possibly hinting that you killed them in a different way. In Vaas' case, Jason got stabs you and magic shit happens, you enter a hallucination level with TV's and visions, he reaches Vaas' and provokes Jason to shoot him which HE DID, and fights a bunch of Vaas clones occur, Jason makes his way up and stabs Vaas to death, he falls after him and Vaas looks at him before fading to white. After that, no body is shown, he's back in the real world but with Citra and it never shows what happened on the base. So yeah, they made it pretty unclear and considering that Vaas made an impact on a lot of gamers, I think bringing him back is not out of the question. Also, there's a bunch of Alice in Wonderland quotes in the game but I was never able to put two and two together.
Kameron Howard that's the thing, a guy that was raised as a rich douchebag having fighting skills like that? I'd sooner believe his brother because he was an army man and although as generic as he is, it seems more likeable than Rich Boy Mcsnozzle over there, even his friends have no likeable qualities except for leading lady because obviously leading lady has to be the generic nice girl.
Kameron Howard Right. I mean sure, generic army man, loses family members as a reason to fight pirates is generic but other than that I'd at least accept Grant killing Vaas than this little kid. I mean Vaas is the reason these rich kids are dragged down from their high pedestal and somehow because Vaas' sister had the hots for Jason, Jason beats him?
I know what happened during Vass' death. Vass went through everything Jason did. With Citra, and everything else. So when Vaas died, he will reborn, through Jason. That's why he said "You are me and I am you" because Vaas was once Jason, and now Jason will become Vaas.
Seems like kind of a stretch to me. I think the only AC reference in this game is when Jason says "leap of faith" before he jumps in some river or something, can't remember the details.
The first time I fought Hoyt I failed the very last QTE and he fell to the ground with the knife still in his side. Made me wonder what else you can get away with failing.
It's now 2018 and every time I see the video and hear the soundtrack my Heart beat so much srsly this is the best game I have ever played and vaas is the best character ever I'm so glad that I played that game
Alright now im not sure of this but im going to say that Vaas Killed Jason. Now, Vaas stabs Jason with a drugged dagger so what we are seeing is Jason walking inside that place, hes just imagining the TV's and the talking. He gets to Vaas and shoots him (which is probably just one of his henchmen and Jason's imagination). Afterwards you hear Vaas saying "you are me and i am you" and more Vaas' attack Jason. Now when you go to kill Jason stabs him right in the spot that Jason was stabbed. But if we go in a little more detail. "You are me and i am you" Vaas is now the player, Jason is Vaas meaning that Vaas (the player) killed Jason (Vaas). Pretty complicated, i know :p
I honestly think that the whole "You are me and I am you" thing was Vaas (or Jason's own fucked-up psyche) hinting that he was becoming more and more like him everyday - which he was. The Jesus reference about ordering Jason to kill him and letting him 'be reborn', then Vaas' eyes locking onto Jason after his *death* was a symbol that Jason had taken Vaas' place within the Rakyat; he was the most loved and respected warrior on the island before Hoyt got to him. Also, it was supposed to be Vaas fucking Citra (his sister, ew) then getting stabbed, and the ending was sort of a choice - not between your friends and Citra, but between his sanity and the actual 'Jason' side, or his psychopathic, desire-driven murderous 'Vaas' side. Loved the 'Alice in Wonderland' quotes: they just so fit the story; with each quote Jason descends further into madness.
I bet vaas will return, his death was one of jason's hallucination and when he ''kills him'' vaas has his eyes open then looks at jason. you have my word he will return somewhere somehow
he got druged by a needle and passed out. then he goes into a dream like state and "kills" vaas. I still don't think he's dead, I refuse to believe in the slightest that vaas is truly dead. I mean where is his body huh? and why did he wake up at citras temple instead of where he killed vaas? why does she seem to know something Jason wouldn't ever wanna hear after that mission? those are the questions we need to be asking
+Zane Harris game seems pretty inconsistent, imo. and i finished the game 3 times. it would be awesome story if they left magical crap and sticked (not sure if i said right) with "whole island mad because of drug abuse, and island chemical properties that poison air, affecting eeryone similar way drugs do. That could, by some stretch explain how jason becomes this "powerful warrior" capable of killing dozens singlehandedly. Game also indicates there is some kind of chhemical in jason tattoo's ink that makes him go into some kind of bloodlust with every adrenaline surge (that's why we see wierd background behind duel scenes, he is hallucinating most of what he sees, except his target). As tattoo gets larger, he becomes more powerful because of more drugs in his system, making the effect that more intense (remember, drugs were used in war to enhance soldier's abilities). In the end, that story is pretty unique, and really intriguing, while multiples personality thing is pretty much one of most overused plot twists. Sorry for long read, i think i made an interesting read for those that like stories.
I actually feel sad about Vaas... He's such a good character and I'm sure every single person can feel somewhat related to his thoughts and the way of thinking...
Personally I think the whole you are me and i am you stuff means that Vaas represents all the things Jason was hideing withen that the island brought out. the love of killing and sadistic nature and stuff. Just my opinion.
I am Italian I have to say is that the dubbing of my tongue is done quite well, but the English dub is pretty damn epic. I do not understand how you Americans have facades of voiceovers so beautiful :D
Wiki says that the Tatau isn't just a tattoo, but something that actually imbues Jason, as The Warrior, to become more than he should normally be. Which is what explains his personality change being so swift with a lot less training than others. These powers are quite effective, it seems.
Kris Doyle sounds like the plot is forced. how come the team mates with tattoos are not equal to him? instead they are all lousy under dogs that cant do anything just as good as the protagonist
I dont know if walking in jasons shoes on this island would be my greatest fantasy or my worst nightmare... and it scares me how i dont know which it is...

And he also got the courage when he was with Grant they honestly shoulda had Jason die instead of Grant ....
Kameron Howard
Right.
3:42 so basically Arya learns from Jason on how to kill the night king!
Yup got copied far cry 3 I'm telling ya
Omg your right. Nice one man. 👌
Just imagine..... Vaas meets Trevor
That'd be awesome.
+ReeLoy Kenjins ikr
EpicGamerTeam 123 I fuckin like them both. Vaas and Trevor.
Trevor would eat him alive.
@@hoiman2356 No you're just a Rockstar fanboy who instantly jumped to that conclusion with even momentarily considering realistic factors.
I know what happened during Vass' death. Vass went through everything Jason did. With Citra, and everything else. So when Vaas died, he will reborn, through Jason. That's why he said "You are me and I am you" because Vaas was once Jason, and now Jason will become Vaas.
Holy crap that ending kill was crazy
Jason's cutter finger is a reference to altair's cutted finger in killing Hoyt
+Ynnos PrimitiveAsh nice find!
Seems like kind of a stretch to me. I think the only AC reference in this game is when Jason says "leap of faith" before he jumps in some river or something, can't remember the details.
Jason: "I don't need ten fingers to hold a knife!"
Altair: I vouche this statement!
As I brace for haters... I actually liked hoyt better than vass
n00b
He has a special mask that injects a drug! XD
overkill on hoyt
OMG I HATE YOU SFF HFDGUSJNG
potatoes with cinnamon ... idk don't ask me , i was drugged ...
d00m R1d3r I like them both but Vaas is better than Hoyt. Hoyt is so better than Pagan.
There's a couple videos of Vaas's death on YT but this one is my favorite because of how well the music syncs with the scene.
Whose watching in 2017 and still loves this game
"I've hidden a knife in my boot!" Yea and you have like THE BIGGEST of knifes attached to your chest.
ITS KNIVES BITCH NOT KNIFES ITZ FREAKIN KNIVES
Engr Abaday I know this comment is four years old but who the hell cares?
best game in the world
xdefesda True. So better than Far Cry 4, 2 and 1.
DucQy 5 technically isn't out yet (the demo can be played) and his comment was made 2yrs ago
Od1sseas no
4 & 5 were the best of the best 😎
I've seen better games, FAR CRY 3 was okay but *NOT* best.
When vaas said take me into your heart he sounded like he was speaking with a inspirational tone
Jason suffered a sever stroke while sky diving, this game is his coma journey
Vaas was my favorite character.
Kneenert_WoW My too but he alive.
The first time I fought Hoyt I failed the very last QTE and he fell to the ground with the knife still in his side. Made me wonder what else you can get away with failing.
It's now 2018 and every time I see the video and hear the soundtrack my Heart beat so much srsly this is the best game I have ever played and vaas is the best character ever I'm so glad that I played that game
the whole scene leading up to Vaas' death gave me goosebumps. it was absolutely flawless.
Or maybe even knowing that Jason woke up with Citra maybe she gave him a potion or something like that earlier and he dreamt killing Vaas?
xSpiritZx
Lets just say FUCK YOU VAAS and get it over with
Predrag Milijic Or we can do that :)
xSpiritZx I agree to so lets all middle finger off Vass all in harmony while shanking his corspe
Its your opinion, not a fact.
"where is he!" Batman
Easter egg i guess
And also that ring finger was a refrence from assassin creed
Never played this one, but now I know where the Bliss comes from
that is probably the only quick time event that fit great
Much better than far cry 4
Yes totally agree
Jp-39 ya
Fc 4 is best
Theprostealthninja 128 nice joke
Too much QTE.
3:43 I just realized how synced it is with the music lmao
8:30 And that's how Jason completes the final ritual to become an assassin... :3
The music was perfectly timed for Vaas
Who here still plays far cry 3 cause I do its amazing
I play it but not as much as 4.
"Take me into your heart. Accept me as your savior. Nail me to the fucking cross, and let me be REBORN!
Can someone tell me how Jason Brody survived the moment when the knife was in his chest ?? I don't get it at all
vaas is Jason. and Jason is vaas. vaas. is. in .his. head.
he got druged by a needle and passed out. then he goes into a dream like state and "kills" vaas.
It's all a dream.
That's Far Cry 3 logic for you.
insanity; doing something over and over again expecting something to change
+Jack Meed Like this post?
Steven Holmshaw insanity; doing something over and over again expecting something to change
Jack Meed Like this post?
Steven Holmshaw oh hang on something actually changed. Shit.
Jack Meed Well you're not insane then. :D
I actually feel sad about Vaas... He's such a good character and I'm sure every single person can feel somewhat related to his thoughts and the way of thinking...
Who else gets goosebumps while hearing background musics?
Man, this is the best Vaas kill video. Your actions transpired to make everything from 3:26 to 4:07 just perfect.
Yep
If you see this comment reply
Vaas didnt deserve to die.bring him back unisoft
Love that Jacket with Red Shirt. Looks Extremely badass, if I could only find shirt with those patterns.
if you strike me now i shall become more powerful that you can ever imagine
omfg i love this game this game is so dope
Personally I think the whole you are me and i am you stuff means that Vaas represents all the things Jason was hideing withen that the island brought out. the love of killing and sadistic nature and stuff. Just my opinion.
I like the message this game sends to players like myself, the values it teaches, and things you can achieve in life...
The way he killed vaas was fking epic like how he droped the knife in to the other hand and then stabbed him
I thought willis died. I heard about rumours but then, i discovered it was fake, and he called jason a little douchebag?
Vass isn't dead, this is like a dream you even saw him stab Jason and then he like blacked out in a way and this a dream.
Vass is dead, Jason stabbed the fuck out of him.
9:21 - Jason Brody becomes Christian Bale' Batman.
I am Italian I have to say is that the dubbing of my tongue is done quite well, but the English dub is pretty damn epic. I do not understand how you Americans have facades of voiceovers so beautiful :D
My killing hoyt wasn't that gory :(
at the end if u miss a button u cant do the full execution
dekipantelija same i only stabbed him 2 times
10:17 when someone steals a chip out of your chip bag
The "Bet life" thing is awesome. Just makes it more intense and immersive.
your actions sync so good with music
where did the main character learn martial arts?
yeah, I also thought about an ordinary guy starts killing with no trainings and shit.
Wiki says that the Tatau isn't just a tattoo, but something that actually imbues Jason, as The Warrior, to become more than he should normally be. Which is what explains his personality change being so swift with a lot less training than others. These powers are quite effective, it seems.
Kris Doyle so basically its super powers
Elite GamingWolf Kinda. Maybe more a mental thing mixed with herbs/drugs. But superpowers, bloodlust hallucinations and such works too.
Kris Doyle sounds like the plot is forced. how come the team mates with tattoos are not equal to him? instead they are all lousy under dogs that cant do anything just as good as the protagonist
Far Cry 4 has a lot of features for the freeroam, but it's missing the mission part, which in Far Cry 3 was awesome.
Rumen Kostoff Far Cry 3 is awesome but Far Cry 4 creators are too stupid so they copied entire Far Cry 3 into the Far Cry 4
Rumen Kostoff they could put FAR CRY 3 song in FAR CRY 4
the music where you stabbed him cued perfectly whoa
Ya know what, for old times sake, I'm install this game again.
Take me into your heart Accept me as your savoir Nail me to the fucking cross and let me be REBORN!!!!! --Me
You're not Jesus.
vaas montengro I fuckin love you Vaas.
I love this game
If u take a Look, the Ground when Jason killed Vaas, has the cross form
Plot twist, Vaas didn’t die and became the now villain from Far Cry 5.
I dont know if walking in jasons shoes on this island would be my greatest fantasy or my worst nightmare... and it scares me how i dont know which it is...
The Wire Man It'd be your worse nightmare cause you'd probably be a slave.
3:55 - Jason rapidly stabbing Vaas clearly shows how much he hates him for what he has done to him
Oh really?
Yeah, killing his brother Grant, attempting to kill him multiple times, trapping his brother Riley
+LgeraPlays oh really?
No shit
Lgera OH REALLY?!?!
