If anybody is wondering, Raiden is not dead. He is not a revenant either. Sometime after his full recovery from his encounter with Shinnok, Raiden once again turns into his alternate ego after absorbing the negative energy from the corrupted Jinsei. Therefore he retains his neutral persona similar to the one he had in the original timeline.
Frezles MC Nope....he isn't exactly evil either. There is still some sanity left within him. The Jinsei had so much negative energy it kind of messed his mind a bit. So this time Raiden will protect Earthrealm with a more brutal approach towards any possible threat. He'll go above and beyond and kill anyone who opposes or threatens Earthrealm. Just like what he announced to the new rulers of the netherrealm. With that said the rest of earthrealm's defense will probably think he went insane. So in the next MK he will most likely be the former protector of earth. I'll probably be passed down to Fujin or something.

By defeating Shao Khan/killing him, they saved their world from Armageddon. Also the timeline in which Armageddon did happen is now confirmed to be the "alternate" timeline. This timeline - MK9 to MKX (so the first three tournaments and MKX which show Shinnok at the end of MK9's story mode obviously) means that now this timeline IS the correct timeline.
+JaredTheDog Well they did show Taven and Shujinko in two seperate endings, but I think putting Shujinko into Cassie's ending was more of a gag ending than anything. Taven and Daegon however, I can believe because of the Black Dragon clan being mentioned.
I hope not. I like the new Liu Kang, how his character has changed from being the heroic champion of justice into the evil ruler of netherrealm. Loved watching his character evolve like that.

He was annoying because he kept using his stupid hammer and op moves that it just becomes unfair and in my opinion ruins the fun of MK9.I still like that game but Shao Kahn was more of an impossible chore to finish. At least Shinnok wasn't as annoying. While he kept shooting those fire balls from his chest you can simply jump over him. Oh but if you do that to Shao Kahn will either punch you from the ground, or hit you in the air with his shoulder! This is in my own opinion and if you disagree that's fine. I'm just saying Shao Kahn was annoying and Shinnok was at least tolerable.

+ultragarrison I quite enjoyed watching that you weren't gonna play as Liu Kang. I didn't mind it one bit in Deadly Alliance when they "Killed" him off. Also, it shows in one ending that Johnny isn't a normal human being, thus the powers pass down to Cassie instead of Sonya getting his powers.

Tyler Driver I don't care for the gender, Cassie Cage is a badass I'll give her that. But the fact that a special forces soldier like her can beat the shit out of a fucking god. The ending wasn't bad, I hated how Cassie got the final fight and not someone more powerful like Raiden or if Liu Kan unexpectedly turned on Shinnok and kicked everyone's ass. I would've enjoyed the ending more if it was a classic character that's been in the previous games. It would've been a true fight and it would be more satisfying to see the villain fall. I just hope in MK11 the last chapter is a classic character and the final boss will be someone like Onaga or Blaze
