I remember those good old days when 2200 buses were common and 2500s had their original headlights and headsigns.

    Amazing video!
    When I say to people
"I'm eventually going to do some filming on buses and the rare types and all that!"
    They say
"Nobody's interested in buses, they're just buses."
The amount of views and likes on this video is proof that they are wrong. Liked👍

Aloha from Hawai'i! Whenever I travel to Portland to visit (i.e., torment) expatriate relatives, I always try to ride the MAX as much as possible. Still, to get to the nearest MAX station from places like Troutdale involves the buses. I'm always amazed by how interconnected and user friendly Portland's public transit system is and how easy it is to get everywhere in the greater Portland area. The system must be unique on the West Coast. You should check out Portland International Airport. Landing back home in Honolulu is always depressing after experiencing that friendly, efficient facility.

@Christa-leigh Johnson Those are 2 different paint schemes TriMet used. They actually now use a new paint scheme that's a blue background with orange stripes.

The red stripe paint scheme is phase 2. It was painted on all vehicles from 1980-2001. The blue and yellow paint scheme is phase 3. It was painted on all vehicles from 2002-2017.
