    Is it wax melter or wax warmer

    • @SBEaesthetics

      For melting wax and oil to create an emollient or cream, I would assume you can use like a double boiler or like a crockpot both should help with controlling the heat and melting evenly. Remember to do your own research and follow instructions on how to do it.

    Hi! I just want to make sure I understand how you sterilize your utensils, you first wash them off then put in the barbecide, and then in the sterilizing tray?

    • @SBEaesthetics
      @SBEaesthetics  4 месяца назад

      First, I wipe off the tools to remove any residue, then I wash them with soap and water. Next, I sanitize them using Barbicide (which is in my disinfectant tray) or a hospital-grade disinfectant to kill germs. Finally, I use a sterilizer autoclave to ensure they are super clean and safe.

    What products do you recommend to scrub and clean your products before disinfecting and using the UV sanitizer box

    • @SBEaesthetics
      @SBEaesthetics  6 месяцев назад

      To clean my implements, I use antibacterial liquid soap and a scrubber. After washing them, I spray them with 70% to 90% alcohol and let them sit for 15 to 20 minutes. Finally, I disinfect them by placing them in my disinfectant container that contains Barbicide and Water. I let them sit in the solution for 10 to 15 minutes. Hopefully this helps!

    I was wondering why alcohol over barbacide to clean the towel warmer. Is it because you're cleaning in between each client?

    • @SBEaesthetics
      @SBEaesthetics  Год назад +5

      Yes exactly. I use alcohol to clean the inside and outside of the towel warmer in between clients. I also use cavicide wipes to wipe the outside of the towel warmer as well, but I will wait until the end of the day to use the cavicide wipes to wipe the inside because i don't want to risk getting chemicals on your clients skin and you want to make sure it's air dried. Hopefully this helps. Great question.

    "The higher percentage alcohol, the more bacteria it will kill" is not true at all. Ideally, you'd want 70%. The higher the percentage, the quicker it evaporates. Alcohol needs to sit on a surface for a certain amount of time in order for it to be able to kill bacteria. When you go higher in percentage, it's fully evaporated before it even had enough time to kill any bacteria.

And what is the going hourly pay that one can look forward to in general. I see in some videos in the past from other people they're saying it's like 11:00 to $12 in light of the pandemic still being in effect currently and this is May 22nd 2022 and the numbers are going back up in many states and cities ☠️🤧🧼🚿☢️⚠️☣️⚕️ there's no way that I would take this up and only be making that kind of money. I think if I'm going to get into it and I'm strongly considering it I would go right back and get my instructors license to be able to make more money I'm already a licensed manicure so that will make me have a double license

      @@SBEaesthetics I'd also like to know if you can tell me when you went to esthetician School how much was it then I'm seeing some schools now within the last 3 years that's been ranging between 10,000 through 18,000 which in my opinion if you're going to pay $18,000 you should go for cosmetology. And I'm speaking as a licensed Manicurist 🥰🤔👌🏼 this year will make 31 years. Although I haven't practiced 29 of the 31 years I still keep my license active as I'm thinking about going back and getting the instructors license as I'm seeing in Michigan they're slowly phasing this out little by little.
