Well steelcity can certainly take some things away from fight night. The announcement team blows undisputed esbc out the water. and there's a referee in the ring. the KO animation is better. the get up mechanics for when you're knocked down is 20x better than undisputed

To be honest it's more of a simulation than undisputed because I have never seen somebody just uppercut someone to the stomach and win every match. That could be done on undisputed the spammers dream. Play fight night every punch could be countered if you learn the game you can become really good undisputed once people figure out the spamming feature it will be no skill needed.

stamina update is trash as can be. every fighter gains 1% stamina back every round. its completly scripted. you could throw 100 punches that round or you could throw 20. you still gain 1% stamina no matter what.

EA stopped pushing the Fight Night trilogies imo because of the mma games that they were working on. They announced some time ago that after they finished with that ufc game that they would focus on another Fight Night. Well Dana White announced about a week ago that he’s kicking in the door with the boxing scene. So with that being said, you can bet that EA will follow suit! I’ll probably wait to buy Undisputed. When the punches, movement, and everything else as well as the commentating matches or is similar to Fight Night, I’ll get it. Until then, play on!💯
Let me tell something. I bought the game same day when was released for PC “early access” for one year I just played 38 hours…I had really big expectations about this game, because from long time we don’t have new boxing game. The game just got very few updates…the punches are awkward and sometimes you fell like you hit the air, it’s like doesn’t register your punches. I’m really disappointed, the game visually looks good, nothing more. Fight Night just set the bar! With bigger customization ( gloves, shoes, robes, trunks ) everything is licensed!

Fight night champion is better, in all aspects,. I try to lie to myself and give to undisputed a chance, but the boxers are like rigid puppets they do not swing their body like in FNC, many punches are imprecise and slow, as for injuries they are almost non-existent.

I played FNC for the career mode and the story. And it’s really EA’s fault. I remember there was some Twitter post asking for a FNC remaster, but EA didn’t listen now we’re getting undisputed and I can’t wait.
Man I play fight night champion everyday and I’ve following undisputed since it was announced. I’m hyped for it. It’s funny how pc players are complaining when they had access to early access version of undisputed when us console players had to wait until launch. I’m just excited for a new boxing game. The only thing I see that Undisputed has over Fight Night is footwork. Other than that, Fight Night still seems better. If the next Fight Night has better mobility control, I think it'll put Undisputed away
I hated Fight Night Champion when it first came out. I thought the pacing was too fast and went back to round 4. It grew on me eventually, but Round 4 is my favorite. Round 3 is really good, too.
Notice the referee in fight night.They label this (undisputed) as an "authentic boxing game" but no ref..and i don't wanna keep comparing to FN champion but i kinda have to as it is the last best boxing game we had. I get it is a game, but in any real "authentic" boxing match you watch in real life..the referee is huge in the fight. At least undisputed could have him floating around like in FN champion - a step back already for me.

stamina update is trash as can be. every fighter gains 1% stamina back every round. its completly scripted. you could throw 100 punches that round or you could throw 20. you still gain 1% stamina no matter what.

EA stopped pushing the Fight Night trilogies imo because of the mma games that they were working on. They announced some time ago that after they finished with that ufc game that they would focus on another Fight Night. Well Dana White announced about a week ago that he’s kicking in the door with the boxing scene. So with that being said, you can bet that EA will follow suit! I’ll probably wait to buy Undisputed. When the punches, movement, and everything else as well as the commentating matches or is similar to Fight Night, I’ll get it. Until then, play on!💯
Let me tell something. I bought the game same day when was released for PC “early access” for one year I just played 38 hours…I had really big expectations about this game, because from long time we don’t have new boxing game. The game just got very few updates…the punches are awkward and sometimes you fell like you hit the air, it’s like doesn’t register your punches. I’m really disappointed, the game visually looks good, nothing more. Fight Night just set the bar! With bigger customization ( gloves, shoes, robes, trunks ) everything is licensed!

Fight night champion is better, in all aspects,. I try to lie to myself and give to undisputed a chance, but the boxers are like rigid puppets they do not swing their body like in FNC, many punches are imprecise and slow, as for injuries they are almost non-existent.

I played FNC for the career mode and the story. And it’s really EA’s fault. I remember there was some Twitter post asking for a FNC remaster, but EA didn’t listen now we’re getting undisputed and I can’t wait.

I hated Fight Night Champion when it first came out. I thought the pacing was too fast and went back to round 4. It grew on me eventually, but Round 4 is my favorite. Round 3 is really good, too.
Notice the referee in fight night.They label this (undisputed) as an "authentic boxing game" but no ref..and i don't wanna keep comparing to FN champion but i kinda have to as it is the last best boxing game we had. I get it is a game, but in any real "authentic" boxing match you watch in real life..the referee is huge in the fight. At least undisputed could have him floating around like in FN champion - a step back already for me.
