The funny thing is that when the race to 30k started shortcat was LITERALLY not even over 10k vr and now he has like 60-70% chance of winning the entire thing 💀

yess I was waiting for more DX content, though I wish the track picks were a bit more varied in worldwides, there's some tracks that I really like and barely see in videos like the mobius strip mario circuit

I like how he says he's only gonna be upset until the end of the race and wait until something happens in the next race to be upset again. Really gotta admire the positivity. So much better than me and being upset about the last game until I win the current game.

At 16:55 I had a similar thing happen to me but on rock rock mountain at the beginning of the shortcut. The worst part is I had another 9th place box in the second slot except it happens to be a blue shell when literally anything else would have helped a ton even a single shroom I could have exited the shortcut
I wonder if Waluigi Pinball's popularity went down because of Waluigi's absence in Mario Kart 7.

I can confidently say that 64, DD, DS, Wii and 7 are all better than 8 Deluxe solely because of the items
POW block, thunder cloud and mega mushroom from Wii were so fun cause it made the game more chaotic, I wish they added them back in 8 deluxe.
not the 64, that's for sure. and that's funny, 8dx is probably the most balanced item host of them all, but i feel the same 😅
i wish we had some of the tour items in the game, that game has some neat ones

The creature in the yoshis island track is a dog from the yoshis island games called poochy
25:30 I still see plenty of love for Waluigi Pinball, but it definitely did fall off a bit as far as peoples Top 5s, 10s, even 15 or 20 best Mario Kart tracks in 8 Deluxe. That I can attribute to the fact we have so many S tier tracks amongst Waluigi Pinball the competition is fierce.
Waluigi Stadium, Maple Treeway, N64, Wii & 3DS Rainbow Roads, Mute City, Big Blue, Yoshi's Island, Mount Wario, Squeaky Clean Sprint, Electrodrome, Mushroom Gorge, Ninja Hideaway, DK Mountain, SNES Bowser Castle 3: there's a lot of tracks now that can rival or surpass Waluigi Pinball at this point.

yeah its funny, i just got a switch and put in the effort to beat all the 200cc nintendo ghosts just for that experience to be useless online. would love for more 200cc races in worldwide

Funky will always be meta because of his insane muscles to control his bike and his skateboard will always be good luck toss it on the mr scooty and you have yourself the best combo in the game

It pretty common to see a variety of combos in rooms up to 15k VR, as people there can be very good, yet all of yhem aren't trying very hard to get higher, and just have some fun.
Past 15k, you see a lot more teddy buggies, still with character variations.
Your Mount Wario room above 20k, with one 98k player, is an odd one.

Scooty is the same stats as teddy buggy but it has a smaller hitbox which is good for things like wall dodging reds. Which makes it strictly better and people have been figuring it out.
It dos not have the same stats as Teddybuggy. It has less Spd and more Mini Turbo.
the mr scooty has 1 more mini-turbo but 2 less ground speed than the teddy buggy

the way I see Waluigi pinball is they did good remaking it, I feel like the track itself was a cooler concept for me back then, tho. I still thought it was awesome in 7, but in 8 Dx I never really wanna race it and am only happy by the time the race started. Not that I dislike what they did w/it for 8 Dx, there's just simply better options imo
