Thank you so much for this video - I sailed on superstar Virgo back in 2006 and while a lot has changed it still brings back memories like those blue carpets with the shells - the Roman pool - those horses in the atrium
Wow... watching your video feels like I'm walking inside SSV again... it was a very memorable cruise experience last week (Manila-Miyakojima-Keelung-Manila).
Good job! Very nice video. I would have loved to see a video of the dining options they have on board, both the inclusive and pay restaurants, showing the typical menus available.
It is now 2021. I hope we'll get some kind of cruise ships in the Philippines 🇵🇭 soon. We love taking cruises. This was done 4yrs ago? Well done very professional.
Ganda naman. Sobrang nang enjoy na ako sa tour na to. Thanks for showing this video, I’m going book a cruise on this ship and vlog our experience too. Salamat!
My parents have tried out allure of the seas, but sadly they did not took is with them. We will board there at superstar virgo on April (Taiwan-Japan). Its my first time going on a cruise, Im really looking forward to the quality service.
i had ridden this same cruise (SS virgo) when i was around 10. pero ang napuntahan namin is phuket and langkawi then back to singapore. plus natandaan ko nung naglalaro ako ng arcade games sa starlight. :D ah childhood memories.
Looks decent for a ship built 1999. I cruised on its sister, the Norwegian Spirit, built 1998 as SuperStar Leo. Nice design but had issues with wifi, plumbing, elevators/lifts, and looking worn out or outdated.
Nice video.. nmis ko tuloy Yung virgo.. ngwork ko dyan as housekeeping attendant.. (kabinista) 2008-2010.. deck 10 aft hawak ko.. maraming2 salamat talaga sa video m..
I cant wait if Disney Cruise Line comes to the Philippines and I would be captain of the Disney Ship Disney Wonder for its new home in the Philippines, going to Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.
Hello there u and your family members have vista and passports already right? When you and your family planed to do the US cruise. Am a RUclips subscriber a travel agency office called Harr Travel the CEO/founder of Harr Travel him and his camera man video blog about different cruise ships companies and two resorts.
You can pay either through dollar or peso but when you get off the ship to roam around, you need to use the country's currency. You can be prepared with the local money or convert the money on the ship or find a local dealer to exchange your money (not recommended though)
I have some questions! Are the people in the first minute of the video when you arrived at the port also going to be on the cruise? or are they passengers for a different ship? I am asking because my senior dad wants to go but I don't want them queuing under the rain or the heat of the sun. Are you going through different queues because you are a passenger of the cruise or is it because you have a certain kind of accommodation that includes VIP queues? Is it good to embark early or would it be better to wait for the bulk of the people to have been settled before checking in yourself? How crowded can the pool and lounge areas get? What to do with internet and cellular service? Do you pay in HK$?
Louis Ben-Joseph , the queue are for passengers of the same ship. We got VIP access because we booked a Junior Suite. We went there early, I think it’s better to be early because the lines are shorter. Based on our experience, the lounge areas get moderately crowded but it’s tolerable and you can still find a seat. As for the pool, not a lot of people seem to use it so it’s not crowded at all. There’s internet service but you need to pay for it. For me, the fees are seem reasonable for a cruise ship. For cellular service, we only got cellular service when we’re near the port but lose it when we’re in the middle of the sea. Hope this helps :)
Samsung Tenorio - it would be best to check www.starcruises.com for the Virgo schedules. Virgo has sailing dates for different destinations. Not sure if they're sail in the Philippines again.
Jerome Yumang It depends which cruise you're taking... it depends on your budget. It's supposed to be ALL INCLUSIVE. Other Big name ship companies like Disney Cruise might have specialty restaurants, steakhouse or Sushi Bars where you guys can dine but may have to pay extra...

We do and probably after the pandemic!
They definitely changed alot since 2012
Use dogs? Why don't they use xray machine?
They do have dogs + x-ray machines
thx, nice video. waiting for the follow ups!
Thanks!
Can we take this cruise from Hongkong to Manila?
During that time, I think there were options from Hong Kong to Manila, you just need to ask the travel agent to customize your trip
Very nicely-made video. Are you using a Go-Pro cam ? Thanks
Danny Laohoo , thank you! For this, we used a Go Pro mounted on a Removu gimbal
We're not gonna mess around in that thing cause there 100 or 60 security guards
Can you used dollar or pesos
You can pay either through dollar or peso but when you get off the ship to roam around, you need to use the country's currency. You can be prepared with the local money or convert the money on the ship or find a local dealer to exchange your money (not recommended though)
Dream to be here❤️❤️

Louis Ben-Joseph , we paid the cruise expenses at the end of the cruise, using our debit card, in pesos.
And the only time you need actual HK dollars is when you go to the casino.
this is great information. Thank you for the prompt reply!
Paid AFTER the Cruise was over?
