Bolshoi Ballet's Natalia Osipova performs the second shade variation from La Bayadere. June 2008.
She's so friggin STRONG. Like she manages to look like a dainty little flower and an athlete at the same time. I love her.
She’s wonderful and I love her too.
She took ballet to a completely different level. She's brilliant.
OMG her cabrioles are so high and so clean! You really did see this was a star in the making!
Yes the petitnallegro part was good, however, you can see the effort in the muscles in the beginning traveling scene. She doesn’t have to do that. This isn’t a sport. And it’s weird to see a female jump as high as males.

Loved it! Maybe she doesn't have soft Mariinsky arms, but she *is* very musical, and I have never seen anyone jump higher in this variation - it's outstanding!

@TheBunduBallerina Just telling it like it is! Lol! I love watching Osipova - she's like a breath of fresh air. She is an amazing talent. Of course she is not perfect in every role - but no ballerina is. Some ballets suit her better than others, but her love of dance always shines through and that jump is just phenomenal. Love Osipova!

I usually see comments about her pointe shoes under her videos.. it's like she's not even wearing shoes at all, to me that's a true artist. I don't notice the tools that create the seamless and beautiful illusion. The force and expression of her dancing are that captivating.

The definitive reason ballet is exciting. I positively loathed ballet before I saw her dance. Then magic, majesty, music: it all made sense.
She is one of my ultimate favourite dancers, I dream of seeing her dance live

Gosh, she dances like a feather, so weightless and flies so high. Even the skinniest ballerina doesn't give you that kind of impression. Maybe she was a fairy or butterfly in her previous life...lol

Again taken too fast -though Osipova copes extremely well with the tempo -but the beauty of the variation is lost by the speed especially on the releve devants in attiude which make her have to throw her arms about just a slightly slower tempi would have shown the true beauty of Osipovas arms and footwork but she has to rush it and i dont know why its rushed because Osipova has excellent balance and placing

The only thing I don't like about her is that her left foot is never straight when she is in air with the cabrioles. It's odd.
