I just love these videos part 1/2 ...Sadly I have a white faced version with date problems and it intermittently stops, although the alarm clock runs fine...I really don't want to throw it away but with parts not being available I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place!..My model is a 7T32-6A50 [A4] and is in almost mint condition.

Hi it's me again...all the movements work but the second hand stops after a while of running which then stops the time keeping. This happened to the original movement. I think it's a faulty movement, what do you think?
I bought this this movement brand new and it worked for a week then stopped. The chronic sweep hand will still move when pressed. This happened to the original movement. Any ideas?
Mine is 5T52-6A39. Now that I see it is all plastic I will throw it away instead of replacing chipped crystal. I paid good money for that thing in 1990. Haven't used it in 20 years. Thought about replacing crystal but after seeing all this plastic I will trash it.
Your camera is out of focus. Also, there's a lot of time you could edit out, like when you're searching for your movement stands and all your "um, ah, uh, and" etc. You could simply rerecord your voice over, or type out a script so you can come across more professional. This is an OK video and I'm learning a lot but I'm wishing it was more succinct.
thanks for the comment, but you do realize this video was made 8 years ago? I have made other videos since. Also, I am not a professional video editing expert: I prefer repairing watches rather than making the perfect video...
Thank you so much for uploading this video. This was a huge help. 👍🏻

I used the one that came with the movement. I know it may have been in storage for a while. What battery so you recommend?

Instead of trashing it please consider selling it!
