- So this video is from back in September back when I was riding and back when the trails were lush.
This day was just about Oliver and myself trying the different bikes trying it in 29 trying it in mullet and seeing what we thought of them. I think we were probably biased because we already enjoyed the Spindrift mullet at other places but when both of us got onto that bike that was the one that we loved.
There were Loads of people just enjoying riding bikes and a bunch of them enjoying riding the Propains.

I've never tried that deceptively little road gap. Seeing you take that first hit I don't think I ever will! What were your views on Orange, Specialized, & Bird?
To be fair I made it look awful. I’ve seen others do it and make it look good.
It was interesting to think about the other bikes. I remember doing the Orange demo in FOD and tried their range of travel and I really enjoyed them. The thing for me was they were really good but out of my price range. It did however leave me with a positive view of them that I didn’t have before. Bird was very similar. Tested Them at Swinley in the bike park bit and the bikes rode really well but outbid my price range again. The specialised was recent at Cwmcarn on their new SL eebs and that was amazing again. I found I loved the one bike but not the other even though they both seemed good on paper. I’d love one of those Kenevo SL and especially for Cwmcarn but I need to earn a ton more money first 😂
Oh I did get to try a couple of Atherton bikes at Wind hill and they were amazing but you know that. I tried the 150 as not sure the 170 was out then and I also got a run down on the DH rig which just felt like a beast. Very nice bikes but again not cheap.
I avoid demo days...........they get expensive 😂
