Good evening Gary, Steakout review shortly. First a call out for your camera person (not catching me out😮) The camera work is top rate. Good clean, sharp, crisp shots, nice use of angles. Adding an extra layer to your vlog 😊 I thought the fillet was cooked just right😊 my preference would be to have the onions a little more caramelised. As you said fries are fries, and it was a fair portion. A question for you. Do you actually feed the camera person in the restaurant with you or do make a packed lunch/dinner? Something like Jellied Eel sandwiches 😂😂 Cheers 🥂 Allan&Family 😊
Good evening Allan! Hope you enjoyed the Steakout review. I will pass on your comments to the cameraman, he will be overjoyed that someone has noticed his work and thank you for your kind comments. Steak was excellent, worked really well with their recipe although the hot sauce was probably not a wise choice as it didn't compliment the steak well but had to give it a go! The cameraman usually eats beforehand or has a packed lunch with him unless he also fancies eating! I should get my revenge on him soon for the Jellied Eels incident. Cheers Allan.
Gary presentation of your steak looked great. love the sizzle. Lots of fries too. You made me very hungry watching you eat this filet as it is my favourite. It would be my last meal! Just put 5 pieces of filet in my freezer better get a piece out! When I am in Slough I will definitely visit the restaurant thank you again Gary and great its 10/10. Your vlogs are so helpful and you present them so well Gary so enjoyable to watch.
Very well presented and it looks so tasty. Have had 'stone steak' in the past in other countries such as Portugal and Germany, where the meat is served-up on a red-hot stone and you continue to cook it to your own liking, but have never found anywhere close to where I live to enjoy it. Gary's presentation has made me think seriously about heading off to Slough to enjoy the exactly same meal as he has just enjoyed.

Back to catching up on your earlier content ! / Any food that makes a noise at the table is good enough for me (as long as it is not alive !). I recall the sound of sizzling chilli beef at a nice Chinese restaurant many years ago / That steak looks amazing - melt in the mouth I guess. / Aside - is it just me (probably) - is not the best bit of a steak the crispy fat on the edge?! My wife always cuts this off! If I pan fry a rump steak at home I always save that ridge of crispy fat to last - probably doing me no good, but too old to worry now! / I am in Twyford not far from Slough, so I will give this ago. It is nice to watch one of your earlier videos - I could see then why your channel is growing so well now. Mark.
I didn’t know you lived so close Mark. I would definitely recommend giving this a try, staff are very nice. Merryam was our server and she was lovely - have a good time mate. Thank you!
Looked superb - a little pricey yes, but worth it for that quality. The Office was filmed down the road from there - i kept looking out for David Brent at another table but alas not to be seen. Well done Gary.
Firstly I am neither moslem or jewish , and if you had any knowledge of the training and skill level it takes to be certified to slaughter an animal there is no way you could call it barbaric, especially when compared to the mass slaughter practiced in so called civilised slaughter house's in western Europe . Certified Kosher & Halal operatives are taught how to dispatch an animal instantly. They personally inspect each animal and its history to ensure its health . From a moral standpoint it is a matter of faith that meat that they eat has been raised with care , and that the animal when alive , and after it's death is treated with respect. As a Christian I personally am very happy to eat either Kosher or Halal products . We are all the children of Abraham.
That looked just great , Gary . But I think £37 -00 for steak and chips is a bit overpriced. Meal for two with a bottle of wine probably ….£100 -00 . Great review as usual . 👍🌘
Great to see you went to the Mayflower in Rotherhithe - please try the Alma Inn in Harwich - great local seafood and great connection to Christopher Jones whose house is opposite the pub !
The meat looked amazing👍 A pro tip, always order chips/french fries without salt, then you can first make a judgement of seasoning of the steak and sause. Also to much salt can hide the flavors. Try chips without salt and you will not go back.

Love your reviews but please try more specifically non-halal places as many people don't want to eat ritually killed meat, only meat killed in a humane and modern fashion with the animal stunned before killed.
You idiot, it can’t be halal if the animal is killed inhumanely. The whole point of halal is for the animal to feel no pain and the blood is drained to avoid diseases etc. Read a book.
Love your review but please try eating upside down whilst reciting a stupid prayer and wiggling your feet as so few people can’t believe you are stupid enough to believe it changes the religious result of food, moron.
Gary seems like a good fellow. But my suggestion: buy your own meat, tenderize and season it from a good recipe to save yourself mucho dinero, and in the process let your creative culinary impulse run free. These restaurants are all overpriced, and as for British food, its for the birds (and I don't mean birds with their British connotation).
Definitely a 10 for the food. 5/10 for the atmospheric eating experience: kids and noise. McDonalds is where they should be. I wouldn't go for that reason.
First of all , why would I want to go to Slough High Street - it’s an absolute tip ! Secondly , I would never ever patronise somewhere that serves halal , a bit disappointed that you did to be honest. Anyway , glad you enjoyed it ….

I understand completely Michael
At last a decent amount of chips !
Seen you comming......
Would have been nicer if they had put some thinly cooked peppers in with the onion Sizzler to compliment it ( Just saying ) Steak looked Pukka ...
Completely fair comment
With regard to the sauce with the fillet, I find fillet bland and needs flavour so I’m all for sauce with fillet. I am a ribeye guy tho
Me too William.
I think you may have liked that one eh? Fillet mignon for that price cooked well? No worries!!!
Loved it Steve!
GOT THAT MIX FOR YOU MY MAN,,,DONT KNOW HOW TO SEND IT THO
Via email it’s in the description Mikey
Raw
It was medium rare, Linda lol 😂🌹
Smooth like Butta
Very!
I was told Slough was a crummy place. What is a Steakhouse doing in it?
I was born in Slough
@ if you check out Wendall. He goes to Slough and it looks bad.
Again OMG you didn't save any for me Gary lol
Apologies Martin!
Boxer AMir Khan opened that restaurant
Very nice.
Of course my friend. I just do reviews :)
BTW, I like your enthusiasm. @@GaryEats
V Chewy for Fillet
I like a thick steak
Same!
I love it, everything. Until I sae the paper straw in the milkshake. I hate them. Bring plastic ones back!
Haha.
Aroma, Gary, not smell, please! It looks like you didn't eat many chips. I have to go back and catch up with your review.
Definitely a 10 for the food. 5/10 for the atmospheric eating experience: kids and noise. McDonalds is where they should be. I wouldn't go for that reason.
If you watched my latest videos, I always say aroma now
@@GaryEats I know, Gary, I have noticed. Carry on your great reviews!
“Look” at the sizzle? It would be easier to listen to that sizzle, I’d say.
Both!
@@GaryEats 😸👌🏼
Do you like to dip into the 19th hole Gary? ⛳️
Oh yes
Those chips aren't chunky
First of all , why would I want to go to Slough High Street - it’s an absolute tip ! Secondly , I would never ever patronise somewhere that serves halal , a bit disappointed that you did to be honest. Anyway , glad you enjoyed it ….
Thank god 🙏🏽 halal restaurants don’t need your custom. Stick to your beige unseasoned food
Bloody Kids! I’m never going there!
I understand Tim
