It entirely brings out how the music, seemingly delicate, enveloped the bitterness of the situation- the heart wrenching lyrics. Hanbin is, indeed, a genius when it comes to songwriting and producing music. The way he effortlessly portrays the pain; the oscillation between denial and heavy acceptance of the pain; the constant consolation to oneself and their loved one after falling apart; the way he uses all those apparent simple words and gives them such weight- in the most unfeigned manner, is so admirable. I do not know what it is about the 4 Letters- whether it's the music, the lyrics, the emotions it depicts, his voice, its connection with Hanbin himself or maybe all of everything- but it's special to me, and somewhere deep down it reminds me of his song Remember me. Thank you so much Hanbin for another beautiful song. I'm really looking forward to the album. And James, too, did a wonderful job in the collab, such a nice voice complementing Hanbin's. 🤍
