About The Rose
The Rose is a Korean indie rock band comprised of four talented members: vocalist and guitarist Woosung, vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Dojoon, bassist Jaehyeong, and drummer Hajoon. Renowned since their inception for electrifying performances, The Rose quickly became one of Korea's most sought-after groups delivering a series of critically acclaimed albums that resonated with fans worldwide. In 2019, three of the band members temporarily went on hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service obligations, during which Woosung pursued a successful solo career, releasing captivating albums and embarking on sold-out world tours.
In a moment of sheer joy for their devoted fans, The Rose reunited during one of Woosung's performances in South Korea in 2022. This reunion paved the way for their first full-length album HEAL, which was inspired by the transformative power of music and the stories shared by both their fans and themselves. I’m here after I saw their performance at Coachella yesterday (April 2024). They’re fantastic and I really hope more doors will open for the group after that amazing performance this weekend. I look forward to catching another concert or performance one of these days. In the meantime, I’ll purchase an album or two.

This is definitely that song that can catch your attention three 3 seconds after it starts. The vocalist is sooooo handsome I got myself a new crush ❤
I watched a video of Woosung singing, and all of a sudden, his microphone stopped working. The fans kept singing, and I really loved it, so I kept repeating that part. Later, I searched more about them and found out they have problems with their company and some members are in the military. It made me feel sad because they were very underrated, and I was worried they might stop making music. However, after about a month, they posted a new music video, and I'm happy to see them gradually gaining recognition. Maybe they're still underrated, but they're getting the recognition they deserve step by step

I love how for the whole video they seemed to be pouring all of their angry and depressed emotions into their instruments and then the last few words, they just put their hands down while Woosung sang as if they were absolutely exhausted from all of it, even the fact that the person they were addressing was never going to return even though they already knew it. This song is absolutely amazing and is the perfect song for when you're heartbroken and want a song to scream to, cry to or just listen to as you eat your feelings in junk food. I’ve been sleeping on the rose. I know. I’m sorry. But I finally was able to sit down and watch the Coachella performance yesterday. Not only is the festival and stage so fitting for them, they also did amazing! So here I am, down the rabbit hole. I cannot be saved, and just hoping I can see them live soon as I just saw they finished their tour. Going into my 30s i thought I’d be way passed this.. but here I am falling for a man in a band… Woosung im looking at you.
