This is probably my favorite piece by Hemsey. The emotions it encapsulates throughout are unlike anything I’ve heard. In my opinion it tells the story of the human condition. No matter where we come from we will be out down, we will feel as if the walls are closing in and we have no hope. Along the way, we will develop our own story. We will be driven to the lowest of the lows, and we will fall into darkness. But soon we will see someone or some way to escape it; a light. And we will become more determined than any other species could to rise up and to climb through adversity. All the memories, the losses, the love along the way will always be along with us and we shall never forget, but we must move on. Tears may fall but our will stays consistent.
So yeah, coming from behind to win Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz - hitting the game/Championship winning shot with 5.2 seconds left on the clock.

I don't think I've ever encountered a musician or composer who is capable of making EVERY SINGLE TRACK on an album stunning, until discovering Zack Hemsey here. As much as I adore Zimmer, the closest comparison I can think of, not even he manages this feat. Thank you for giving us instrumental versions, because it's really hard to get work done when I'm enjoying lyrics. Plus, the instrumentals alone are pure glory. The future of music composition is bright, indeed.

hey, I've tried to fight laziness, to annihilate it for once and for all out of my life. the hours wasting, watching bulshitt on youtube, it just sucks, it gives me an awful feeling afterwards. I am going to eliminate this sloth gradually in small chunks. after coming home from school or waking up during the weekend I am going to work for 20 minutes for one week, if I succeed I wil add 20 minutes the next week, if I achieve that goal, the next week 20 minutes more, and so on until I only work hard in my life.

I think it's a matter of perception, if you exact vengeance on someone for something petty i would say that it is weakness. However it can show that you won't take any shit from anybody which is a strenght
If you exact vengeance on someone after enduring a lot (let's say someone who bullied you) I ain't gonna say a thing
If you exact vengeance on someone because he raped and killed your child I don't have the right to say that you are weak. If you don't I don't have the right to say a thing.
Of course if you do ( the last exemple ) you're gonna go to prison. Do you really want to go prison, to lose the precious time of your life if not your life, for that piece of shit ? That's something to think about
