The BooBie Trap has a chem station. It also has mines at the vendO, and scattered about the PoI.🦀far west then south. Its on a paved road. Ty 4 keeping console alive.

A few things..for the trader glitch there's a sound when u hit anything in the trader as long as u hear that gong sound u can anything u hit also u can do this glitch for the center of the world material to build an indestructible base

Last-hitting blocks gives you the most xp for stuff, I think. Should science that.
I try to always punch grass around my base when I'm collecting plant fibers early because it gives athletics xp. Helps get sexy rexy up faster.
Sledge is my favorite weapon - mo powa and range than clubs, and so satisfying lol. But against a bunch of running zombies, I think the spiked club is better. They're squirrely, and the club is faster.
For heavy armor xp, stockpile first aid till you have all iron armor (or better) and decent hp. Then, let a handful of zombies beat you up at the same time. Pop a painkiller (for extra healing and stun protection just in case), and heal through it for a while to get xp very fast. I find it quite hilarious. Also raises medicine skill, and light armor skill from your clothing. You will lose some wellness, but it's easy enough to get back by that point.
The trader can sell the heavy bandit gas mask. Best in slot for your face, about 6x better than a bandana.
Medicine can be raised quickly early game by filling your inventory, minus 1 slot in your toolbelt, and crafting a whole bunch of normal bandages. They will go into the empty slot, and you can spam left trigger to use them almost as fast as they're being made. The healing bonus goes up quite fast, so it can be very useful in the first few days, when you don't have a lot of healing items.
For me it's: sexy rexy, pummel pete, miner 69er, survivor (for wellness gain bonus), and fast eddie. I rarely put more than 1 point into the camel. Being thirsty is very useful.
Ooooo you guys could science zombie pathing, and the heat map. Figure out what brings in the most screamers, and how many of those stations you need to spawn in the maximum amount of screamers. Use those zombies to science the pathing. Would be a good one.

Based on the "trader glitch" portion of this video title it's probably likely you already know this but you can find cement mixers, workbench, forge, and even chemstations in some traders in random gen.
I usually get stuck with the crappie trader who doesn't have any of those but if you get lucky your trader can have any of those stations.
I've never found all in 1 place but I have found workbench and cement mixer in the same trader.
It just depends what trader outpost you get.
With the trader glitch you can get those from the trader as well as a vending machine if you want.

Steel Smith level 2 unlocks the Spring which is useless and level 3 unlocks the Mech Parts which are necessary to make a Wrench. You need 12 steel and 4 mech parts for a wrench.

Technically, if you read the wrench schematic. Steel smith level 3 isn't that important. Increase tool crafting, then merge items might get you to 600 faster. Plus mechanical parts are everywhere. Wrench cars, shopping carts, file cabinets, leather desk chairs, air conditioners

There comes a point that you will want more mechanical parts than you can find. I think drawbridge, vault doors and hatches use them. Just depends on the direction of your game. There is very little that is absolutely useless in this game...

steel smithing, level 1 unlocks forged steel amd steel arrowheads, level 2 unlocks springs and level 3 is mechanical parts, 90 sp os a huge investment, normally only take level 1 as can salvageplenty of the springs and mechanical parts

I have never thrown points into gun smithing. You find so many schematics and just combining and repairing, you are up in no time for all your shells.
I think the trader glitch works outside of the trader ring as well...

@@Spartan85 so get a water bucket, think you make it in forge with forged iron...fill it with water like you do glass jars... make a spot in your base 1x2 that will hold water. Hay bales, wood blocks, dig out two blocks, whatever as long as it holds water. Then aim for the corner, double trigger pull twice. Takes some practice to do it exactly right...

The best use for the Chem station is for crafting gun powder because it's 1:1 instead of 2:2
It’s 1:1 in a chem station, but 2:1 in a workbench.
I just looked at my workbench and it says 2:2. Does the level decrease one or the other?
Increase blade skills by using machete, hunting knife or shiv to cut grass

The glitch is easier than how you did it. Just hit what you want from the trader first, then kill the zombie. They don't have to be drawn inside of the trader compound.

Level one steel crafting unlocks steel and steel arrow-head. Level two unlocks spring crafting. Level three unlocks mechanicl parts rescipe

@@Spartan85 level two is good for making money. Springs to make beds. A stack of beds sells for heaps. Level three pointless to get a stack of machanicl parts not worth it. And if you want to make money quick best item ito sell is duck tape. Stack o 250 sells for heaps. All you need is cotton farm for cloth and bones for glue. Bones easy to get just make easy streamer farn inside your horde base (6 camp fires running) and then loot & harvest bodys. Easy money
I started playing 7 day again after maybe 2/3 years since I just got a series x and I didn’t know the trader glitch.

Ist level of steel smithing gives you the ability to carft forged steel and steel arrowheads. Level 2 gives you ability to craft springs and level 3 gives you the ability to craft mechanical parts. Kind of a waste after the first 30 skill points.

I have a question, I noticed the game gets very dark at night, would it be considered cheating if I maxed my brightness out at night until I find a mining helmet or flashlight?
Nope that’s just adjusting the settings. This is a very very dark game that was made brighter in the later alphas.

What I'm wondering about the trader glitch... Is the object duplicated still invulnerable to damage ? And if so...making a base wall with the wooden beams from the trader in effect prevent any kind of damage? 🤔

Unfortunately it will still take damage after placed
But you can get a piece of bedrock that can't be damaged...
All blocks that's protected by the trader, are impenetrable

@@Spartan85 Just last week I punched a rock for a few minutes to raise my athletics enough to raise my "breath holding" time enough to retrieve my backpack after drowning retrieving an air drop deep in the lake. Not my proudest moment.😁

Ah, yes, the trader dupe glitch the fastest way to get kicked from a play session. Also, tier 2 and 3 steel smithing juet lets you craft mechanical parts and springs quite pointless since its expensive to craft em

Construction tools is a passive skill. Almost no reason whatsoever to put points in it.
