A few nights ago, Odin came to me. I had recently left the Catholic faith. I have prayed and begged for God to visit me and help me for years, but I was answered with silence. Odin came to me in two weeks or a bit more. The area was dark as night with a faint stary sky. I was looking at Odin. He stood in front of a dead oak tree, looking into the darkness. I felt power from him, ancient, old power. I felt safe, curious and a bit intimidated. He didn't look at me but knew I was there. I have no idea what he was staring at in the darkness because I have no clue. I would love to get in contact with him again but I don't have the faintest clue. Before this dream I saw two crows (not Ravens) chasing off a hawk and one of my co-workers is named Odin as well. Yesterday I was really down, I was having an inner struggle with myself and my thoughts were getting dark. Come to find out, Odin also deals with depression and himself.
Is the arc angels that be light beings do they work with odin, an other good deities to help protect us. but wonder how these gods was made an got these abilities
It says, Know thyself, and nothing in excess..." Idk if what you say is another inscription but the above is the phrase famously known inscribed in the front of the walls at Delphi.
I too ran into Odin in a dream some 20 years ago. I was walking on a road on a coast somewhere. I had a loud voice call my name from the clouds. I was so shocked I fell to the ground ....in a few moments I crawed up on a large Boulder and could just sit and wonder what happened. The voice, very Germanic, began talking to me again....just words of encouragement and I felt very comforted. After a few minutes....he was gone and I continued on my journey. Before this dream, I did not know of Odin or the Norse gods.
Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. I am very interested in Odin, that’s how I discovered your channel. I was practicing shamanic meditation and out of body journeys since 2016, and I was always guided by a lynx-shaped being. Later, I rediscovered those practices, including chakra meditation and connecting with objects, places and people on a spiritual level. In a recent shamanic meditation, I met Odin. It was an overwhelming experience. He did not talk at all, he held my shoulder like a friend or father would do. Then, he took a step back and stabbed my heart with his spear, letting lots of spiritual waste flow out like blood. He sealed the wound and blessed me, opening my heart chakra and initiating me. I connected with Odin during many other shamanic journeys and met elves and an ancestor of mine who was a sort of priest or shaman of a Germanic tribe.
This... Is amazing to hear. My very first experience with any of the Nordic Gods was with Odin in a trance state. I was once christian and was extremely disatisfied with it. I never got what I sought from it. But with my very first encounter with Odin, it was a beautiful experience. I started off in a darkened room. But in front of me was a stained glass door. All greens and yellows. With a tree carved in wood around the glass panels. As the door opened a warm, welcoming bright yellow light engulfed me. His presence, was welcoming and almost grandfatherly. Someone very familiar and calming. Someone who would teach you or tell you anything but never talk down to you, always explaining things so you understood them.

We must remember that the worst atrocities perpetrated by European colonizers was done as an extension of Christianity, in much the same fashion that it was forced onto early tribal Europeans.
I cried near the end of this... I had a dream that Odin called me home to Valhalla. I've been researching him today, and I offered him some tobacco and alcohol as I did so. I've been asking questions and finding the answers immediately. Watching your video I felt an overwhelming sense of calm and safety and I broke. Thank you... thank you so much
It happened to me, as well! I met Odin and I could feel his power, that was 25 years ago during a meditation, I didn't know that was Odin until twenty years later, than I became devoted to Him
I had a visit from Odin on the Autumn Equinox in 2019. The dream started out with my wife and I talking, then it turned into an argument, which never happens. In the middle of our argument it's like all volume was muted. And everything went black. I could still see my hands and before as if they were still in light. When I looked up a black bird flew into my face forcing me to close my eyes. When I opened them I was standing in a thick bright fog trying to focus on a figure before me. It was Odin. Dressed in dark armor with gold underlay holding his spear with a warm smile on his face. He said "I've come to collect for you". I immediately became hesitant and asked "How I am to know this isn't some trick or Loki?" He got a good chuckle and said "You are very wise to question but you already know the answer." He then half turned and held out his arm. I explained to him that I'd very much like to stay behind. I have a family to provide and care for. His brow raised with a big smile, put both hands on his spear and leaned in toward me and said "So you shall" He stood upright and said "Know when the time comes, I'll send for you" He smiled. I woke up.
Dude I've had dreams with Odin in it how you described him is almost exactly how he had came to me told me that the same blood that followed through him followed through me and it was time for me to start acting like it. What the hell does this mean?

I was a Christian follower and would call out to Jesus but nothing would ever happen and the dark presence would continue to ravage me. I always thought I didn't have enough faith. Same here. I was going through clinical levels of depression about 10 years ago and prayed to Jesus every day to help me and it only got worse. When I started to turn away from Christianity, I became noticeably better within a few weeks.
I've heard many Christians say what you say. Oden says that "those who have a chance for ascension are those in Buddha and Odin, not in Jesus interestingly, but those in Christos-logos"
I was a Christian too. Jesus let me be human trafficked. I was calling on Jesus, pleading the blood of Jesus, rebuking the human traffickers in Jesus name and nothing. I desperately screamed SOMEBODY HELP ME. ODIN and his wolves showed up and ran them off. I thought it was a stranger passing by, until I learned it was Odin. I don't know why Jesus treats humans like crap. Odin cared and made sure I was safe. He's protected me ever since along with the other Nordic gods and goddesses.
What a powerful experience! I feel moved in ways I can’t even explain. I’ve been drawn to Odin for a long time, but I didn’t know that he was a true, powerful being that I could call on for help. I just felt this pull whenever I heard his name being spoken, and longed to connect with the old Norse religion. I love that he said, “I am like you.” And feel this is something I’d like to reflect on and try to perceive. I also liked that he’s this force that keeps moving forward, without violence. I also watched the video where Maria Kvilhaug shares her experience meeting Odin. I found it interesting and inspiring the way she describes him as this force continuously seeking knowledge. That second dream from the enlighten channel was me. Seeing the power of rhe Norse gods in my dream have helped me in my life and ive never had a nightmare like that since.
Every time I hear experiences with Odin I cry and get chills. I’m going to try and connect with him soon. I asked for him to send me a sign that he is with me to send me a raven and he did just that while exiting off an exit ramp a raven came flying directly at my windshield feet away the raven looked to the left then made a sharp right turn when I looked back there was nothing there.
G'day! I have suffered from sleep paralysis throughout most of my 37 years, but two years ago It reached a crescendo. I had a paralysis with the works!! Ravens squawking, force of wind then Odin appeared!! He spoke to me saying everything that I was going through would be ok etc..it was so calming and enriching. This was very profound for me because I'm from a Catholic background and I was going through the death of my Grandmother. So a long story short, I've taken a different route in my spiritual journey, privately since. I've had many sleep paralysis events in my life, some the same manifestations of the "old hag", to having a "presence" behind me (i sleep on my side), to a hot hand pressing on my face and a cold being hugging me. It all changed when Odin appeared though. It's almost as if it has given me clarity.. definitely a moment I've cherished privately. The only person I've talked about it to is my wife, and the only reason I've come across this thread, was a Google search on Odin, lead me to this thread. So thank you for talking about it. Explaining sleep paralysis to family is difficult, this makes it a lot easier. Cheers
Just found your channel and I'm really enjoying your videos. Thank you for all your wisdom. What you say here about Odin being the seeker and bringer of knowledge is absolutely spot on. He has been teaching me now for just over 2 years and I've never looked back. What a teacher! As you say he absolutely respects your free will. Sometimes when I'm feeling overwhelmed by the sheer pace of the learning he brings, all I have to do is ask him for a break and he duly complies. I urge anyone who calls themselves a true seeker of knowledge to strike up a relationship with Odin. And try not to read too much about him before you do. Just experience him as you would a new found friend and be confident in the knowledge that he will always have your best interests at heart.
Greetings again, it was me that you mentioned who was led from a coma by Odin..and I'm certainly not a man! I enjoyed this video, my connection is still very deep and I seem to have found myself since my experience somehow being drawn to others of similar paths though not in an ordinary way of meeting as I'm very isolated, some of my meetings have been astral and manifested themselves later. Walking between worlds is something we all do because we exist on many levels at once is what I was taught during my time with Odin. He carries a strength that is silent support but is not like the weak Christian figure he's been diluted to over time.

I was thinking about what Odin expressed to you about BLM, and I felt that as well as what you explained, that he was being used to separate and divide people and that was not who or what he was about; as he said when you asked him "who are you", he replied "I am like you". There is no division in reality; where ever I have traveled across different parts of the world I found myself in all people, and I found we were all of the same heart and sol - even without speaking the language I was able to communicate based on my sameness with them in my needs as a person and my genuine feeling of connectedness. I hope we can come to love and know each other again from this reality instead of the created divisions that abound to tear us apart. I'm so grateful that Odin brought up this point as its so relevant in our times and its what we need if we are ever to come out of the darkness we find ourselves in.
I also think so Nina. I think the people here who reacted negatively to her sharing this part of her experience didn't really understand what she (and Odin) was saying. Its about unity as you say, and connecting through the hearts... I also find it so incredible how good overview Odin has about whats happening on Earth right now! :-) To me, it means he is around, ready to help those who sincerely search for him.
So I had a dream, this man visited me I couldn’t see his face all I could see was an outline of him and an incredibly bright light. It paralysed me and I felt completely at peace, it was like the ultimate rush I swear I could of died in that moment and I would I died a happy person. I don’t know whether I was dreaming/hallucinating in a dream or what but he said to me ‘everything is gonna be ok’ I am convinced it was Odin appearing to me in a dream…. Hail Odin.
I think the one eye aspect of Odin was always taken as symbolic. As a Sky Father figure in one of the numerous Proto Indo European break offs his eye would have immediately been associated with the sun. I believe the “lost” eye is the moon as the moon is generally associated with magic and knowledge and the night is synonymous with water in the meaning of death. Odin gave his eye into the well in exchange for knowledge. Horus is similar with Set taking one of his eyes.
I have a little experience to share - I went to Peru a few months ago (inspired by your book 'Ancient Religion of the Sun'!) and was trying understand the connection between Odin and the wisdom bringers of the Maya and Inca legends. On one of the first nights in Cuzco, the ancient sacred capital of the Inca Empire, I met a man in my dreams, who was also young and beautiful rather than old and bearded (actually he may have still had a beard!), but generally 'golden', and I knew he was a talented seafarer, he had a 'oneness' with the sea I wrote in my dream journal; there was a sense that his great talents weren't understood in the world but somehow I could see him for the divine being he was. Then the dream shifted to include other people who had been very benevolent and spiritually guiding in my life and I was shown something that made me feel a deep connection to the spiritual quest that is woven like a continuous thread in me from this life to all my previous ones. I didn't get to speak to him but still the experience was incredibly uplifting.

You know, there are so many points raised in this video to comment on. What I found most touching and comforting personally was that even a being like him is still learning, continuing on like this. Feeling in love with life recently, and the merciful beauty reverberating through it. That is if we manage to break the psychological sleep of our normal life, strongly fight our own inner evil, decisively choose to move away from the normal mechanically driven 'dead life' then a whole world of wonder awaits. And that life is beautiful. Wishing everyone to taste much experiences of personal learning of that spiritual kind, which the Being Uotan seems to pour out/help people to activate.
I had the most profound experience encountering Odin. I did not know much about him until I searched for information, which lead me to him. I without a doubt follow his path in search of truth and wisdom.
I once met a bunch of people who called themselves Odin followers when I was in my 20's. I thought they were just joking, and I said: " people like that are just weird" Rather than get offended they just laughed good naturedly and then moved on. I realized my social blunder and tried to apologize. They were so good natured about it they told me not to even worry about it. They even laughed along side me. I think that that is true religion. When you know who you are and what you stand for, and other peoples opinions both rude or nice, neither offend you, or ego inflate you.
Thank you, for this wonderful video. Odin also came twice to me in a dream. It was strange, it was as we were drowing in the sea. We were the same person. And we helped eatch other from drowning. I was so confused, when I asked him who he was and he said Odin. Because, he didn't look like the pictures I know of him. He really looked like the young norse man with long blonde hair and a beard. As you mentioned in your video. I felt such a strong connection to him. He also came in shamanic journeys to me. But because he didn't look as the person everybody is painting him, I started to doubt myself and the experiences I've made. You are actually the first person, who saw him the way I saw him. I have never given much thought to the Norse gods beyond the legend stories. The dialogue you had with him just has this humility and kindness to it. I had a dream of a ancient looking man. A older, healthy looking man with braids and animals skins . He walked me to a big hole in the earth which was a grave and vegans were lined up like sheep walking inside ,falling into it and animals were coming out alive and the dead vegan bodies were stacked on eatchother and even though others saw this they continued to die for the animals . I didn't want to die and stepped out of the line and the ancient strong man spoke to me in a foreign language but i understood what he was saying and he told me animals are here to help us and were put on the earth to nourish us and was sharing his wisdom. I felt like this was a sign to stop my vegan diet. Even though my hair fell out, my teeth , my depression got worse i did not see the damage until i snapped out of the eating disorder. I was very stubborn and no one could snap me out of my eating disorder that i have been struggling with for 4 years. I didn't even realize the damage i had done. I thought i was doing the best for myself because i was so brainwashed by vegans and in reality i was so disconnected from nature. I was very malnourished and anemic. I felt like i was dying around this time because i was bedridden and couldn't excersize anymore without wanting to faint. I am glad odin woke me up to the fact that i was not healthy and was going to die if i didn't start eating like my ancestors did. I'm so glad someone finally looked at me me in the eyes without judgment and told me what i was doing was wrong because no one on this earth was helping me so i'm glad allfather showed me the way to real health. After eating animal products my depression quickly went away after just only a week which is so amazing to me. My boyfriend is asatru and he believes it was odin who helped me and that night before the dream i was fedup thinking about suicide and asked for help because my health was so bad and i wanted answers on how to recover. I looked up odin on google images and he looks like the man i saw in my dream. I feel like it doesn't matter if you are scandanavian ancestry or not , he is beyond that and won't judge you because we are souls and not our bodies. He didn't judge me if i was not germanic ancestry because he shared his wisdom with me without judgment and I am a believer now. My own father is never there to speak with me because he is so angry and busy 24/7 so i can't tell him my sorrows or problems but i'm thankful that i can speak with the Allfather and tell him my problems.
I can somewhat relate. I was a vegetarian for 9 years and decided to eat according to human physiology rather than a philosophy. I can understand why a vegan or vegetarian would choose to do what they do, its admirable, however eventually destructive to oneself. I found a great Instagram account of a man who has been helping restore health to ex vegans and vegetarians. Look up the name 'Matt Blackburn' his info will speed your recovery. @@nikkah99 supplemental protein not natural to a strictly vegan diet. They supplement with many vitamins and minerals, as well as plant based protein in order to increase muscle mass. However, without these supplements one would struggle to maintain the physique of a bodybuilder or extreme athlete.
I was very happy reading this, and glad of your recovering. The Enemy always trying to fool humanity and keep them in a low frequency that is there primarily goal . Odin gives his children signs all the time and he wants nothing more that we see them. Raise yourself to the highest frequency and you will receive divine consciousness. I've had signs from Odin aswell, that is why I know it's real.
The 'u' in uotan is likely to be an English 'w' and that 'u' is just an older representation before uu then w. We see this in Old Saxon, Old High German, and even sometimes in Old English in words suchs as suord, uord (sword and word).
I once met a man at a book signing who said these 3 things . 1)" Don't let knowing a little be an excuse for not knowing more." 2) " know those things not worthy of knowing". 3) "I wish I could have lived to do the things I was attributed too". After hearing the things said to you , I couldn't help but feel the similarities in what was said to me .

His response made me also feel that he is closer to us than we might think. I also liked him being beyond culture and time. I feel this is important to emphasise in this day and age as we have become so attached to our culture and ethnicity.
I just found your channel thank you for crossing my path with the Gods. As a brainwashed christian I had a dream that me and my co-workers who were pagan died and standing in a grassy field and a large man with long red hair said. You go that way but you two come with me. I was left out. I started studying things like I never have. That was the begining of my path with the Gods.
That's really interesting - do you mean the "life boat" out of the current and coming wars in the world was within a temple dedicated to Odin (even though people in society are generally taught to hate and fear Odin and those who follow Germanic religion)? What do you think your dream means?
Had taken mushrooms in the forest while camping with friends. While I was looking at the sky and the stars coalesced into a giant spider. Then they turned into Odin. Odin looked at me for a bit, winked, and then said he was entertained and then faded into the sky. It was an interesting experience.
Recently Odin came to me during a meditation. I asked who he was and he said Odin. He also wanted me to do research about him and retrieve lost knowledge. It is interesting that this video would pop up in my stream since it was not one to which I had subscribed. He told me who I was many years ago and to research that being. Very inspiring and another indicator that we're tapping into a Collective Unconscious. There is definitely a return to our ancestral Paganism and I'm one of those who returned! Although Wotan - being continental/south Germanic in heritage and not Norse/Scandinavian, I call upon him through that name - does not bodily appear to me, I've noticed that on Wednesdays when I go to a local mountain and forest to do a blot to him or otherwise meditate, I see two ravens - never just one or more than two. Meditating on his qualities, I usually invoke him for "the enlightenment within", because he seems to most represent our own internal vision/wisdom/insights/clarity/discernment/memories of who we are. Appearing in me through moments of inspiration, overwhelming feelings of entering another space and time yet still firmly rooted here on Earth. Your point elsewhere that links Wotan/Odin to the Viracocha among the Inca and Votan among the Mesoamericans is very uncanny and makes complete sense when we know that he is The Wanderer while also looking at the qualities attributed to Votan and Viracocha.
Thank you for the new video. Like others, I've been drawn to the Norse Gods as long as I can remember and I always thought the similarities between Norse, Celtic and Roman Pantheons must have been more than a coincidence. This channel answers many questions.
The video is amazing and very worthy to listen to it and watch it. Watching this video I could not stop until the video finished and I felt some beauty and light inside of me arising by just watching this video, like there was a conection to the other worlds and like the astral travelling is something very obvious, very natural. I had an experience sometime in the last year and a half where I was imagining myself sitting at a meditation spot i have in a valley by a creek. I was just sitting there in my minds eye meditating when out of nowhere this black tornado came up to me. It had crows popping into and out of it, and at first i resisted as i didnt know what tf it was but then after scrying its energy i concluded it was benevolent and let it pass through me. It was this powerful energetic electricity that moved through me as what felt like pure spiritual inspiration. It was like an upgrade which i can to this day draw upon, as if ive never been the same since. I didnt realize at first, but it was my call to interact with Odin answered, which i had only put out a few days or weeks beforehand. The crows, the black 'storm,' and the feeling of inspiration all allude to it having been Odin, or whatever archetypical face of the actual Allfather of Consciousness that Odin represents. We're all One being; i see the gods as faces of the infinite as opposed to autonomous beings but i do wonder sometimes.
This first happened while I was awake. A vision (daydream?) flashed over my eyes and I actually wrote two or three paragraphs recording what I was told. At this point I had not researched anything about the Norse religion. I didn't even realize people were practicing it in 2019 still. He gave his name as Wanderer and because the experience freaked me out so much I just googled the name Wanderer expecting to find nothing and that I had an overactive imagination. To my surprise I had even written down the name Fenrir thinking I had made it up in my head. I also wrote that the being I had communicated with explained to me that he did practice shamanism. Btw the depiction of Odin at 4:59 is the accurate portrayal. At least of the man or ancestor the legend was based off. The vision hasn't left me and I can still remember what he looks like. I was so impressed with an apparently otherworldly supernatural experience I decided to try a sacrifice of something simple. That night I dreamed and I also saw wooden sign posts! They were in a field of grain and read, "Odin's, something I don't remember and there were runes on the post. A tree appeared sprouting out of my bed and on it were hung gifts. Some shields , some swords other random gifts. I see them as representations because what need do I have of a sword and a shield in 2019? The last experience I had was about a week ago. A norse god interrupted my dream and I'm now starting to think it may have been Thor because it did not look like the Odin I saw when I was awake and had the vision. Essentially the god was much bigger and he sort of crashed down and had a jovial smile on his face. It was just a flash and more of an interruption. He didn't say anything but at this point I did become lucid but it didn't feel like I was out of my body it just felt like I was still dreaming but that I was aware I was dreaming. I remember saying in my head "Odin I'm lucid!" Then my lame ass woke up. Of course now I feel foolish because I can see it clearly had to be Thor. He was much too big to be Odin and for the last few days I have wondered why I saw such different versions of Odin and it just now dawned on me after reading the Poetic Edda that this god had to be Thor. I'm surprised because I wasn't sure Thor existed. I knew Odin had to be real because I was awake when he gave me the vision and the stuff I wrote down poured out of me before I should have even known a name like Fenrir or wanderer. He essentially confirmed his existence by telling me things and then me googling and finding they weren't gibberish but actually well documented things about Odin's personality still kind of confuses me because I was raised Christian and was essentially an atheist when the vision came over me. I never had any experiences like that all the years I was a Christian so I'm just confused tbh. Also what makes this even weirder for me is that I was pretty heavily into researching Middle Eastern culture. I was very interested in critiquing the West as well as Europeans for their history of genocide. This has thrown a huge wrench in my plans and worldview. It's almost as if Odin overpowered my own belief system. I had started to think that maybe all these detractors of West were right even though I myself have always been heavily into European fantasy literature. I read Tolkien for the first time when I was ten years old. I picked it up off a shelf at random in my school library. This may have been Odin's first call because I remember after reading the book that summer I was visiting my grandparents and I remember drawing a door with what I now know to be runes over the hearth way the door was covered in vines. I remember as a child thinking I would go outside and make the door in my grandparents back yard which was about an acre of wooded area. I spent a lot of my youth outside climbing trees and stuff like that. When I was around fifteen I learned that my biological mother was actually German, Swedish and Dutch so I googled stuff about these cultures at the time hoping I could understand it a little bit. All I found at the time was Neo nazi stuff and that is unfortunate because that's just a cult full of hatred. It was the negative side of the European people and I think perhaps Odin was calling to me but I had missed the mark completely. I researched the worldview of the concept of the Master race and learned a lot but ultimately as I got older that concept didn't hold up. It's true a lot of blonde people are intelligent but so are a lot of Asian people and people from all races have their idiots and their geniuses so the concept kind of crumbles under too much scrutiny. If anyone is interested in having dreams or visions where the norse gods show up sacrifice salmon and wine on your altar as well as cast your runes on your altar the ones that lie face up leave on your altar those are the ones that he is trying to use to communicate with. He prefers wine and salmon and fennel seeds. I tried a little of my own blood at some point but it never yielded results? I think the spices and the smells either attract him or jog my own DNA memory of him I'm still trying to sort this out. 1. Wine 2. Cooked salmon prepared by you especially for him. 3. Cast all runes leave the ones that lie face up on your altar 4. Herbs and spices : Fennel Seeds and Garlic 5. light 3 candles while welcoming him into the circle 6. Call Wanderer instead of Odin 7.Ask for wisdom first and nothing else! 8. Mind alterer of some sort (be safe) will cause for more clear communication but if you want to have dreams use Mugwort tea 9. Don't forget to drink wine out of your own cup and toast him. 10. Use something from nature you picked out yourself to represent Yggdrasil 11. Stare at your altar until you fall asleep (obviously get comfy laying down don't want you knocking over your candles and starting a fire) These have worked tried and true 3 times for me now. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work for anyone else 3 times is basically a science at this point. The only difference is obviously our altars might look a little different but I really think those steps have to yield results. The only other thing I can think of is that everyone is different. I do think DNA memory might be a real concept. It could be that I have had the experiences because maybe my biological family has a connection of some sort. I have never met them but will try and find my original surname soon. I just have one last thing to say. White nationalism causes your mind to seek rigid hierarchies. To really experience Odin you have to be fluid not rigid. You have to be open to humanity and spirituality. That's why I know the poster of this video really met Odin. One the wooden sign posts appeared in both of our visions. Two when she asked if Odin only cared about Germanic people he was silent. The reason for his silence is because he is an ancient ancestor. He has no concept of race like we have it today. If she had said ancestors he might have understood what she meant. You see my experience is that Odin was a highly spiritually ascendent man. So whatever spiritual dimension moving experiences he had while he was a man on earth somehow remained imprinted in his ancestor's DNA but that doesn't mean he's the only one. The reason we can recognize this particular ancestor is because we have information on him. So it's actually logical that more people would have experiences with him. So in essence all the ancestors you have may be trying to speak to you but you don't have anyway to confirm the truth of what they are saying because their thoughts and personalities were never written down or recorded for you to fact check the experience.
I’ve read all of it! I’ve never had a dream experience with any gods before but I really want to and what you’ve told really proves their existence and I love that this has happened to somebody like you especially since you can share and give it out to the world!!!

I remember that before falling into the dream (some of you may know this stage followed with noises and vibrations), instead of rumbling and random buzzing as usual, I heard the sound of hooves coming from the distance. Everything was pitch-black and my field of view was made up of grids going seemingly endless. The sound of hooves sounded like a whole cavalry approaching all of a sudden, and before I knew what was going on, a great figure stood before me. A giant horseman, holding his spear above his head and looking at me as 2 ravens flied down to his spear. His presence simply radiated with power and wisdom, and I woke up full of energy and some things I needed to figure out were suddenly so clear. Also, this happened in the early morning after a series of weird lucid dreams. However this was way different than LD or AP. I can't explain why with words, as the rules of our material or astral world simply cound not be felt at that moment.
I often talk with Odin. But my first true encounter was in Midgard(the physical plain of existence ) He appeared in my room. The entire corner of the room was distorted as if heat was rising off of Asphault . Asked "Who are you?" He told me to pull Runes. I pulled The Blank (Wyrd or the Odin Stone) and Ansus . He then told me to walk into his presence and all of a sudden I was enveloped in light and i felt weightless with nothing under my feet. Odin is Real.

Ok I have a story, normally I’m not a religious person in fact I believe there is a scientific reason to explain most things but There’s been a few instances in my life that really made me question my views on things. Just this past Christmas I was really ill, without doubt the sickest I’ve ever been in my entire life. It got to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed and i was so weak that I slept for most of the day only to really wake up to force Down some water. Towards the end I think I slept for at least 30 hours strait and I had the weirdest dream I’ve ever had In my entire life. It’s a bit fuzzy now but the parts I do remember are very vivid like a memory I’ve experienced In real life. Right so I was in a dark area at night time that kind of looked like a graveyard and I approached this old man that was siting under a very large tree he had a large white beard and a hood over his head. I talked to this guy for a long time but the whole time I felt like he was someone I always knew, it gave me a warm feeling. After we were done talking he told me that it wasn’t my time and he would come back for me, then he put his hand on my shoulder and I woke up to paramedics in my bedroom and apparently i almost died. Honestly I think it was a just a dream and nothing more but it’s been several months and that dream is still bugging me. Not saying I saw odin, because I never asked the person who he was, but I thought it was worth mentioning
@ The Legend - Amazing experience. There are many near-death accounts of people seeing Jesus, but yours is the second now I've heard that appears to be with Odin. The large tree could have possibly represented the Yggdrasil tree Odin was said to have sacrificed himself on, which is another clue it was him. Do you remember anything of what you spoke about with him? I totally understand if it is too personal to share.
My experience with Ódinn was almost identical to this. Also I had sworn all religion away about a week before. I ended up really sick, flu like symptoms but way worse. My entire life I'd say thats the second time I was truly sick. First when o was born. Anyway, the third day of the sickness either I was dreaming or hallucinating from the fever but I went outside and an old man exactly as described here came up and said.... "There's more, there's much more" then he turned and walked away. At that time I had no knowledge of Ódinn at all but he had kind energy yet I didn't say a word because I felt I really needed to respect this man.
I'm not sure if they would be like the same beings or different beings on the same mission to educate people. But serpent images are eerily common throughout the world. It may seem unlikely but I think the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu might also be one of the prophets/light bringers...whatever you wanna call it. She is sometimes represented by a snake or dragon.
We all come from one family. Being more diverse isn't genocide, it's bringing the family back together again. It'll take centuries to undo what millennia of separation has done to us. That's why I was so excited to see these videos and your books. You're tying together the earliest available commonalities we had. How grievous it is though to see you agreeing with those who see the reunion of the human family as something that should not happen.
Hi Nathan - Like you, I would love to see cooperation, dialogue, and harmony between indigenous peoples everywhere based on mutual respect, common values, and even in many cases, a shared spiritual heritage. Imagine a meeting between indigenous peoples discussing the solutions to world issues, rather than global corporations? I think this is something to aim for. For this to be possible though, I believe there needs to be a homeland for all races and cultures, in which they have the right to self-determination - just as equally for the indigenous Aymara people of Bolivia, as for the Hopi of North America, and for Germanic Europeans, Britons etc., with no double standards. In this way, the diversity of cultures and peoples will be preserved against the threats of globalization, but at the same time, there could be communication and reconciliation. Then, for those who wish to, let us sit at the table to share stories, knowledge, and hopefully friendship.
I have been thinking about what you said here Lara, and I thought how the confusion arises when people want to just implant “multiculturalism” forcefully everywhere like some kind of ideal. I mean, it certainly has its place in big cities like London, where it naturally developed with different people coming there for work, etc…, but wanting to forcefully install it everywhere is quite twisted I think (like anything done by force really), and destroys the different and original cultures. In the same time, if it happened naturally, let’s say if by some huge miracle people of Earth would achieve such a high level of spirituality, peacefulness, and wisdom that the borders would not be needed anymore, then that’s fine with me personally. :-)

Awsome sister, im a vitki or a sharman or whatever ppl would call me, ive met Odin many many times, astral work, dreamtime work etc. ive met many of the gods my ancestors and spirits over the years of my training etc. Ive taught 5 people to experience the gods so far. its not hard. pathwalking and astral projection work, is hard for modern minded people but so easy for peopel who can dream with the runes properly (as opposed to use them as tarot cards) Odins legendary. its being intense and scary and wonderful, ive screamed cried and im now.. inspired completely
My brother crashed his car the other day, he was traveling very fast and he flew out his windshield flipped and landed standing on his feet, looked up and Odin was standing in front of him. So it took me about four years to convince my brother of the gods,,......well now hes sworn his lifes deeds to his heathen path.
Odin , Yeshua and others are The Way Showers. Each of their time and geographic location. They all have an Essences to their Soul that threads them together and coming from the same source. Great video. I have understood for some time that Odin giving his eye is indeed symbolic. What I came to understand is that in order to find wisdom we must be willing to sacrifice our own perception of things and that this is the meaning of Odin giving his right eye. It is my understanding that Odin hanging on Yggdrasil is a reference to stargazing, in part as it has many meanings. It is a key to unlocking the door of many Mysteries. One such door I found was unlocking the key to Norse astronomy. It is my understanding that the cup of what is known as the Big Dipper is one half of the head of Mjolnir and the other half consists of two stars in Ursa Major opposite of the handle of the Big Dipper. The handle is drawn from the top of Mjolnir to the star most people call Polaris. Polaris is the eagle which rest atop Yggdrasil, his name is "Truth/Sincerity" (as one concept) and the Little Dipper is Veðrfölnir who rest upon his brow. The sacred swastika is a transient constellation as it is represented by Mjolnir at each of the Four Seasons. What is known as the handle of the Big Dipper, those three stars, represent the Giant slayer's Odin Vili and Ve. It was a dream where my Slavic heritage bled in which led me to find Sleipnir each of his legs represents eight of the nine virtues and his body represents truth/sincerity (as one concept). I think that figures 3.1 and 3.2 on page 74 of "Futhark" by Edred Thorsson might provide clues to finding the location of the Runes in Norse astronomy. Figure 3.1 may show us where a particular Rune is found from The Horizon upward. Figure 3.2 may show us the direction a particular Rune is found, or the time of year a rune can be found, or both. Unfortunately, I have been unable to spend enough significant time in the wilderness to study Norse astronomy to determine if my theory is correct. I respectfully pass this project onto you. If you want to know the Divine Will then turn to the Divine; if you want to know God's will ask God, don't rely on second hand information from mortal man. It is filled with too much bias and superstition. Always check things out yourself with the guidance of the spirit. In time, with maturity, you will learn discernment of the spirit. If you follow the judeo-christian path I recommend you study the Gifts of the Spirit. 1 Cor 12 if I remember correctly. And understand no one has a monopoly on God and no one has a monopoly on truth.
10 years ago I was attacked in a knife frenzied attack and wounded a number of times. As I was losing consciousness I prayed to Odin to help me or guide me in death, he walked towards me and placed his hand upon my shoulder. As he did so I was awaken by 3 paramedics over me trying to keep me awake. I had a fast recovery in hospital less than a week and was able to recover at home.
@ Anthony - Incredible. That's now around the 3rd or 4th near-death like experience I've heard involving Odin, but yours also involved a remarkable recovery.
I had an experience before. I was taken to another realm after a intense medictative process and a giant shadowed guy appeared as the time stopped and he said: "Now time has been shut, and when time is shutted, there is no place you cannot go.." - clearly first time i saw interdepence of time and space... Now i'm writing a book about old philosophy guided by this same voice, i was voice guided to write in the book " timeless words of moral and wisdom"..."light reflected light". Interesting how the sons of light are worried about the wrong doing about ethics and moral and to safeguard the wisdom of balance to the rebuilding of a new world
One amazing thing that happened to me is that I was laying down in bed one night and I closed my eyes to sleep but opened them again after 2 seconds. All of a sudden I saw a flash right infront of my face and it was Odin looking at me and he had only one eye. However, this vision disappeared after a few seconds. Also, one night I was dreaming and I had a dream of seeing Thor's hammer (Mjölnir) and as I saw his hammer I woke up and then thunder and lightning blasted outside of my house.
I saw odin in a dream which led me to search this. I saw his face very clearly with a golden knot-work style pattern floating in front of or flowing from his missing eye he didn't say anything just looked at me but I remember it so clearly more than any of my other dreams
Wow, awesome. Maybe the knot-work pattern represents some kind of ancient knowledge/wisdom he was imparting to you. The knot-work symbolizing an ancient heritage, but one that is eternal/endless (Celtic knot-work, for example, was often used to symbolize this). The fact that it was golden may represent its solar and spiritual nature. That it was coming from his missing eye may symbolize the wisdom he sacrificed his eye to attain. Powerful stuff.
I can still picture it really clearly now . It was very intense I felt a little breathless when I woke up. Funnily enough this happened a few months after I started looking in to my ancestry I like in the UK . But my heritage is majority Danish and Saxon
I don't think the timing is a coincidence. I personally think it's part of the in-gathering, as other people who are looking into their Germanic ancestry are having these experiences too. In my experience, when a dream is very clear like that, it usually indicates it is given as a message, rather than being from the subconscious - especially if you wake straight up from it. I'd love to see people take their calling further, for example, and get out to the ancient sites across Europe for the solstices and equinoxes, which they align to - like Goseck Circle (winter solstice) and Externsteine (summer solstice) in Germany, which are particularly relevant to Germanic pagans. Goseck Circle is even older than Stonehenge, and was built on the same latitude (which has a unique astronomical significance).
This is interesting Lara, just yesterday I watched some videos on megaliths in Germany: ruclips.net/video/AYVNM7wXtF0/видео.html I found them while searching for some places to celebrate the upcoming spring equinox. The Wikipedia page with more info on these megaliths (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megaliths_in_Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) says that about 26 of the dolmens are oriented towards spring equinox, but unfortunately, does not mention which ones. :-O
Iam Brazilian and a descendant of Portuguese and Italians. I have been studying Germanic Paganism since 2005. It is a rich spiritual practice based on conduct. However, I see numerous people saying that only native Nordic/Scandinavian people can practice the faith.
It's interesting, I think there is something powerful in Germanic paganism that draws people to it. I don't know yet what it is, but I feel it has to do with Odin and what a powerful being he is. I personally believe that if people want to practice their ancient cultural faith among those ancestrally tied to it, then that is their free will, which should be respected. This is a fairly common practice among Native Americans for example. But I also believe that those of any ancestry should have the free will to practice any faith they wish, and should not be stopped from doing so. We are firstly spiritual beings, secondly physical beings. Therefore, I support your decision. Free Will.
I must share that it is strange this is a reccomendation for me. I recently had an extremely vivid dream this month that came from my personal god, Wotan. I fell asleep visualizing myself in Wotan's presence in a temple in my mind, later, I was in a sleep paralysis state and I could feel Wotan standing over me in bed, projecting magic into my mind. I felt a little afraid but calmed down eventually. He seemed to be projecting a spell into my mind, it felt like pulsating light, in this vision, I saw Him show me(He never spoke) secrets of letters and runes used in magic. It was a display that people's names in this world have extreme power and most certainly can determine how people will be and behave. Literally a spell of their name is a "spell", and certain names were much more beautiful to spell out in this magic spell way, the Germanic and Celtic names i tried to "spell" in this vision felt wonderful to spell out and made me smile, while Hispanic names felt extremely wicked and almost gave me a heart attack. Wotan didn't choose to take on a form and just "spoke" in shoing me and emotion. All of this felt extremely real, and while I admit my mind could have made this, I really did sense it. I must state I was sober at the time and have not done any drugs or alcohol in months.
I just described my experience with Thor on another channel via a vivid "dream". I am just floored by the comments with so many people having similar experiences. All these years, I was dismissive of my experiences, thinking they were isolated dreams. Lol, I am pleasantly surprised by how wrong I was.
I, too, have met Óðinn and had a similar experience. I've learned a lot about nature and how much one can learn from simply listening to the sounds of nature, among other things.
@SakroSawel , the journey since my encounter with Óðinn began has been filled with lots of knowledge, observing, and learning about understanding things I never thought of before. It is like you and Lady of the Labrynth said; it's questions leading to answers and more questions.
Wonderful to hear that you have been so open to learning. We can't even imagine how much or what there is to know, and I'm not talking just about intellectual knowledge, but the kind you get, like you say, from just sitting receptively in nature - that kind of experiential knowledge that arises directly within. @@SakroSawel , with each new knowledge received, is like a quenched thirst. With every moment of truth arising, historical, religious, or philosophically is like a hunger satisfied. When I see others on the same journey, it is a breath of fresh, new life. Óðinn is our húgr (our memory), I believe, and he is linked to all that is living. That's why he shows us that knowledge is infinite, as well as wisdom (undying knowledge).
I had an expierance like this around samhain. I sttod at the gates of valhalla speaking with odin. I can not remeber what was said between us but i onew it was him. He appeared to me much like the odin in the bejamin thorpe translation of the havamal. Including his missing eye
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It's super motivating to realise beings like Wotan are able and willing to directly guide and teach normal people in this way! The first thing that struck me was how you describe Wotan as so friendly and yet powerful, and in particular how he evoked this stream of questioning, with answers either given or evoked from within through his silence. This description seems to me to be an uncanny link to how the qualities of Mercury are described in astrology, with the signs he rules, Virgo and Gemini, having these friendly and inquisitive/inquiring qualities to them. Of course, both of are linked to the third day of the week through different branches of language - you mention in your book how Wodnesdaeg became Wednesday, and the link between Mercury and the third day is seen in other languages - Mercredi/Dydd Mercher in French/Welsh - so it makes me wonder about the link between Wotan and everything mercurial, including a link to the planet?! Also I find it interesting that 'Budha' is the Vedic name for Mercury, meaning divine intelligence beyond the mind, (buddhi) and the presiding deity is Vishnu, (according to Parashara, the authour of the Vishnu Purana) the 'preserver' god that pervades all - which made me think of the way Wotan said to you and others, "I am you", or similar - and how Vishnu is also a fire god, and how it can be seen that it's the fire of consciousness that unites all living beings and pervades all of creation. Anyway, partly I'm exciting by these connections because it turns something like astrology, which is a quest for answers about life in itself, back to an internal quest rather than one that remains intellectual, as well as spiritual pursuits in general. It's such a valuable thing to know that these direct, personal 'classroom' experiences with beings most people think are imaginary are actually possible; but it's even more valuable to have them yourself, which is what I'm now going for! Wishing Odin visits me and many more people! ;-)
My experience was different than your own Odin called me twice the first time before becoming an evangelist because of outside interference and the second when I was ready to serve him because of my gifts of mediumship and healing and me not using them Odin wanted to change this I can now astral walk with him in my waking mind in meditation and asleep whenever I call on him he comes and I have found he indeed makes you answer your own questions or answers some and leaves you others to answer yourself to me he was just as you describe him but to me as a father teacher and friend he has made me a better person brought me back to the light he may well have travelled far and wide across the globe I feel special that he came to me and asked me to serve him I gladly did and I have become a better person because of him I was lost angry at the world and taking up norse religion when he came to me on both occasions
A few nights ago, Odin came to me. I had recently left the Catholic faith. I have prayed and begged for God to visit me and help me for years, but I was answered with silence. Odin came to me in two weeks or a bit more.
The area was dark as night with a faint stary sky. I was looking at Odin. He stood in front of a dead oak tree, looking into the darkness. I felt power from him, ancient, old power. I felt safe, curious and a bit intimidated. He didn't look at me but knew I was there. I have no idea what he was staring at in the darkness because I have no clue. I would love to get in contact with him again but I don't have the faintest clue.
Before this dream I saw two crows (not Ravens) chasing off a hawk and one of my co-workers is named Odin as well.
Yesterday I was really down, I was having an inner struggle with myself and my thoughts were getting dark. Come to find out, Odin also deals with depression and himself.

I too ran into Odin in a dream some 20 years ago. I was walking on a road on a coast somewhere. I had a loud voice call my name from the clouds. I was so shocked I fell to the ground ....in a few moments I crawed up on a large Boulder and could just sit and wonder what happened. The voice, very Germanic, began talking to me again....just words of encouragement and I felt very comforted. After a few minutes....he was gone and I continued on my journey. Before this dream, I did not know of Odin or the Norse gods.
Amazing, that certainly seems like a "calling."
Same with me I had a vision where he had me write down paragraphs and when I googled them Odin came up! It was wild because I was an atheist.

Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge. I am very interested in Odin, that’s how I discovered your channel. I was practicing shamanic meditation and out of body journeys since 2016, and I was always guided by a lynx-shaped being. Later, I rediscovered those practices, including chakra meditation and connecting with objects, places and people on a spiritual level. In a recent shamanic meditation, I met Odin. It was an overwhelming experience. He did not talk at all, he held my shoulder like a friend or father would do. Then, he took a step back and stabbed my heart with his spear, letting lots of spiritual waste flow out like blood. He sealed the wound and blessed me, opening my heart chakra and initiating me. I connected with Odin during many other shamanic journeys and met elves and an ancestor of mine who was a sort of priest or shaman of a Germanic tribe.
This... Is amazing to hear. My very first experience with any of the Nordic Gods was with Odin in a trance state. I was once christian and was extremely disatisfied with it. I never got what I sought from it. But with my very first encounter with Odin, it was a beautiful experience. I started off in a darkened room. But in front of me was a stained glass door. All greens and yellows. With a tree carved in wood around the glass panels. As the door opened a warm, welcoming bright yellow light engulfed me. His presence, was welcoming and almost grandfatherly. Someone very familiar and calming. Someone who would teach you or tell you anything but never talk down to you, always explaining things so you understood them.
So you into the religious aspects of things. You messing with wrong things and you mistaken it for the fantasy of Odin
I had a dream with two eyes. He came to me and I hugged him crying for my grandpa. Because he passed away due to cancer and I have never got over it.

We must remember that the worst atrocities perpetrated by European colonizers was done as an extension of Christianity, in much the same fashion that it was forced onto early tribal Europeans.

It happened to me, as well! I met Odin and I could feel his power, that was 25 years ago during a meditation, I didn't know that was Odin until twenty years later, than I became devoted to Him
I had a visit from Odin on the Autumn Equinox in 2019. The dream started out with my wife and I talking, then it turned into an argument, which never happens. In the middle of our argument it's like all volume was muted. And everything went black. I could still see my hands and before as if they were still in light. When I looked up a black bird flew into my face forcing me to close my eyes. When I opened them I was standing in a thick bright fog trying to focus on a figure before me. It was Odin. Dressed in dark armor with gold underlay holding his spear with a warm smile on his face.
He said "I've come to collect for you". I immediately became hesitant and asked "How I am to know this isn't some trick or Loki?" He got a good chuckle and said "You are very wise to question but you already know the answer." He then half turned and held out his arm. I explained to him that I'd very much like to stay behind. I have a family to provide and care for. His brow raised with a big smile, put both hands on his spear and leaned in toward me and said "So you shall" He stood upright and said "Know when the time comes, I'll send for you" He smiled. I woke up.
Dude I've had dreams with Odin in it how you described him is almost exactly how he had came to me told me that the same blood that followed through him followed through me and it was time for me to start acting like it. What the hell does this mean?

Same here. I was going through clinical levels of depression about 10 years ago and prayed to Jesus every day to help me and it only got worse. When I started to turn away from Christianity, I became noticeably better within a few weeks.

I was a Christian too. Jesus let me be human trafficked. I was calling on Jesus, pleading the blood of Jesus, rebuking the human traffickers in Jesus name and nothing. I desperately screamed SOMEBODY HELP ME. ODIN and his wolves showed up and ran them off. I thought it was a stranger passing by, until I learned it was Odin. I don't know why Jesus treats humans like crap. Odin cared and made sure I was safe. He's protected me ever since along with the other Nordic gods and goddesses.
What a powerful experience! I feel moved in ways I can’t even explain. I’ve been drawn to Odin for a long time, but I didn’t know that he was a true, powerful being that I could call on for help. I just felt this pull whenever I heard his name being spoken, and longed to connect with the old Norse religion.
I love that he said, “I am like you.” And feel this is something I’d like to reflect on and try to perceive. I also liked that he’s this force that keeps moving forward, without violence. I also watched the video where Maria Kvilhaug shares her experience meeting Odin. I found it interesting and inspiring the way she describes him as this force continuously seeking knowledge.

Every time I hear experiences with Odin I cry and get chills. I’m going to try and connect with him soon. I asked for him to send me a sign that he is with me to send me a raven and he did just that while exiting off an exit ramp a raven came flying directly at my windshield feet away the raven looked to the left then made a sharp right turn when I looked back there was nothing there.
G'day! I have suffered from sleep paralysis throughout most of my 37 years, but two years ago It reached a crescendo. I had a paralysis with the works!! Ravens squawking, force of wind then Odin appeared!! He spoke to me saying everything that I was going through would be ok etc..it was so calming and enriching.
This was very profound for me because I'm from a Catholic background and I was going through the death of my Grandmother. So a long story short, I've taken a different route in my spiritual journey, privately since.
I've had many sleep paralysis events in my life, some the same manifestations of the "old hag", to having a "presence" behind me (i sleep on my side), to a hot hand pressing on my face and a cold being hugging me.
It all changed when Odin appeared though. It's almost as if it has given me clarity.. definitely a moment I've cherished privately.
The only person I've talked about it to is my wife, and the only reason I've come across this thread, was a Google search on Odin, lead me to this thread.

What you say here about Odin being the seeker and bringer of knowledge is absolutely spot on. He has been teaching me now for just over 2 years and I've never looked back. What a teacher! As you say he absolutely respects your free will. Sometimes when I'm feeling overwhelmed by the sheer pace of the learning he brings, all I have to do is ask him for a break and he duly complies. I urge anyone who calls themselves a true seeker of knowledge to strike up a relationship with Odin. And try not to read too much about him before you do. Just experience him as you would a new found friend and be confident in the knowledge that he will always have your best interests at heart.

Greetings again, it was me that you mentioned who was led from a coma by Odin..and I'm certainly not a man! I enjoyed this video, my connection is still very deep and I seem to have found myself since my experience somehow being drawn to others of similar paths though not in an ordinary way of meeting as I'm very isolated, some of my meetings have been astral and manifested themselves later. Walking between worlds is something we all do because we exist on many levels at once is what I was taught during my time with Odin. He carries a strength that is silent support but is not like the weak Christian figure he's been diluted to over time.

I was thinking about what Odin expressed to you about BLM, and I felt that as well as what you explained, that he was being used to separate and divide people and that was not who or what he was about; as he said when you asked him "who are you", he replied "I am like you". There is no division in reality; where ever I have traveled across different parts of the world I found myself in all people, and I found we were all of the same heart and sol - even without speaking the language I was able to communicate based on my sameness with them in my needs as a person and my genuine feeling of connectedness. I hope we can come to love and know each other again from this reality instead of the created divisions that abound to tear us apart. I'm so grateful that Odin brought up this point as its so relevant in our times and its what we need if we are ever to come out of the darkness we find ourselves in.
I also think so Nina. I think the people here who reacted negatively to her sharing this part of her experience didn't really understand what she (and Odin) was saying. Its about unity as you say, and connecting through the hearts... I also find it so incredible how good overview Odin has about whats happening on Earth right now! :-) To me, it means he is around, ready to help those who sincerely search for him.
I too have met Odin, he was covered in golden light. Hail Odin.
So I had a dream, this man visited me I couldn’t see his face all I could see was an outline of him and an incredibly bright light. It paralysed me and I felt completely at peace, it was like the ultimate rush I swear I could of died in that moment and I would I died a happy person. I don’t know whether I was dreaming/hallucinating in a dream or what but he said to me ‘everything is gonna be ok’ I am convinced it was Odin appearing to me in a dream…. Hail Odin.
I think the one eye aspect of Odin was always taken as symbolic. As a Sky Father figure in one of the numerous Proto Indo European break offs his eye would have immediately been associated with the sun. I believe the “lost” eye is the moon as the moon is generally associated with magic and knowledge and the night is synonymous with water in the meaning of death. Odin gave his eye into the well in exchange for knowledge. Horus is similar with Set taking one of his eyes.
I have a little experience to share - I went to Peru a few months ago (inspired by your book 'Ancient Religion of the Sun'!) and was trying understand the connection between Odin and the wisdom bringers of the Maya and Inca legends. On one of the first nights in Cuzco, the ancient sacred capital of the Inca Empire, I met a man in my dreams, who was also young and beautiful rather than old and bearded (actually he may have still had a beard!), but generally 'golden', and I knew he was a talented seafarer, he had a 'oneness' with the sea I wrote in my dream journal; there was a sense that his great talents weren't understood in the world but somehow I could see him for the divine being he was. Then the dream shifted to include other people who had been very benevolent and spiritually guiding in my life and I was shown something that made me feel a deep connection to the spiritual quest that is woven like a continuous thread in me from this life to all my previous ones. I didn't get to speak to him but still the experience was incredibly uplifting.

I had the most profound experience encountering Odin. I did not know much about him until I searched for information, which lead me to him. I without a doubt follow his path in search of truth and wisdom.
I once met a bunch of people who called themselves Odin followers when I was in my 20's. I thought they were just joking, and I said: " people like that are just weird" Rather than get offended they just laughed good naturedly and then moved on. I realized my social blunder and tried to apologize. They were so good natured about it they told me not to even worry about it. They even laughed along side me. I think that that is true religion. When you know who you are and what you stand for, and other peoples opinions both rude or nice, neither offend you, or ego inflate you.
Thank you, for this wonderful video. Odin also came twice to me in a dream. It was strange, it was as we were drowing in the sea. We were the same person. And we helped eatch other from drowning. I was so confused, when I asked him who he was and he said Odin. Because, he didn't look like the pictures I know of him. He really looked like the young norse man with long blonde hair and a beard. As you mentioned in your video. I felt such a strong connection to him. He also came in shamanic journeys to me. But because he didn't look as the person everybody is painting him, I started to doubt myself and the experiences I've made. You are actually the first person, who saw him the way I saw him. I had a dream of a ancient looking man. A older, healthy looking man with braids and animals skins . He walked me to a big hole in the earth which was a grave and vegans were lined up like sheep walking inside ,falling into it and animals were coming out alive and the dead vegan bodies were stacked on eatchother and even though others saw this they continued to die for the animals .
I didn't want to die and stepped out of the line and the ancient strong man spoke to me in a foreign language but i understood what he was saying and he told me animals are here to help us and were put on the earth to nourish us and was sharing his wisdom. I felt like this was a sign to stop my vegan diet. Even though my hair fell out, my teeth , my depression got worse i did not see the damage until i snapped out of the eating disorder.
I was very stubborn and no one could snap me out of my eating disorder that i have been struggling with for 4 years. I didn't even realize the damage i had done. I thought i was doing the best for myself because i was so brainwashed by vegans and in reality i was so disconnected from nature.
I was very malnourished and anemic. I felt like i was dying around this time because i was bedridden and couldn't excersize anymore without wanting to faint. I am glad odin woke me up to the fact that i was not healthy and was going to die if i didn't start eating like my ancestors did.
I'm so glad someone finally looked at me me in the eyes without judgment and told me what i was doing was wrong because no one on this earth was helping me so i'm glad allfather showed me the way to real health.
After eating animal products my depression quickly went away after just only a week which is so amazing to me.
My boyfriend is asatru and he believes it was odin who helped me and that night before the dream i was fedup thinking about suicide and asked for help because my health was so bad and i wanted answers on how to recover.
I looked up odin on google images and he looks like the man i saw in my dream. I feel like it doesn't matter if you are scandanavian ancestry or not , he is beyond that and won't judge you because we are souls and not our bodies. He didn't judge me if i was not germanic ancestry because he shared his wisdom with me without judgment and I am a believer now.
My own father is never there to speak with me because he is so angry and busy 24/7 so i can't tell him my sorrows or problems but i'm thankful that i can speak with the Allfather and tell him my problems.
I can somewhat relate. I was a vegetarian for 9 years and decided to eat according to human physiology rather than a philosophy. I can understand why a vegan or vegetarian would choose to do what they do, its admirable, however eventually destructive to oneself. I found a great Instagram account of a man who has been helping restore health to ex vegans and vegetarians. Look up the name 'Matt Blackburn' his info will speed your recovery. @@nikkah99 supplemental protein not natural to a strictly vegan diet. They supplement with many vitamins and minerals, as well as plant based protein in order to increase muscle mass. However, without these supplements one would struggle to maintain the physique of a bodybuilder or extreme athlete.
I was very happy reading this, and glad of your recovering. The Enemy always trying to fool humanity and keep them in a low frequency that is there primarily goal . Odin gives his children signs all the time and he wants nothing more that we see them.
Raise yourself to the highest frequency and you will receive divine consciousness.

The 'u' in uotan is likely to be an English 'w' and that 'u' is just an older representation before uu then w. We see this in Old Saxon, Old High German, and even sometimes in Old English in words suchs as suord, uord (sword and word).
I once met a man at a book signing who said these 3 things . 1)" Don't let knowing a little be an excuse for not knowing more." 2) " know those things not worthy of knowing". 3) "I wish I could have lived to do the things I was attributed too". After hearing the things said to you , I couldn't help but feel the similarities in what was said to me .

As a brainwashed christian I had a dream that me and my co-workers who were pagan died and standing in a grassy field and a large man with long red hair said. You go that way but you two come with me. I was left out. I started studying things like I never have. That was the begining of my path with the Gods.

Had taken mushrooms in the forest while camping with friends. While I was looking at the sky and the stars coalesced into a giant spider. Then they turned into Odin. Odin looked at me for a bit, winked, and then said he was entertained and then faded into the sky. It was an interesting experience.
Recently Odin came to me during a meditation. I asked who he was and he said Odin. He also wanted me to do research about him and retrieve lost knowledge. It is interesting that this video would pop up in my stream since it was not one to which I had subscribed. He told me who I was many years ago and to research that being. Very inspiring and another indicator that we're tapping into a Collective Unconscious. There is definitely a return to our ancestral Paganism and I'm one of those who returned! Although Wotan - being continental/south Germanic in heritage and not Norse/Scandinavian, I call upon him through that name - does not bodily appear to me, I've noticed that on Wednesdays when I go to a local mountain and forest to do a blot to him or otherwise meditate, I see two ravens - never just one or more than two. Meditating on his qualities, I usually invoke him for "the enlightenment within", because he seems to most represent our own internal vision/wisdom/insights/clarity/discernment/memories of who we are. Appearing in me through moments of inspiration, overwhelming feelings of entering another space and time yet still firmly rooted here on Earth. Your point elsewhere that links Wotan/Odin to the Viracocha among the Inca and Votan among the Mesoamericans is very uncanny and makes complete sense when we know that he is The Wanderer while also looking at the qualities attributed to Votan and Viracocha.

I had an experience sometime in the last year and a half where I was imagining myself sitting at a meditation spot i have in a valley by a creek. I was just sitting there in my minds eye meditating when out of nowhere this black tornado came up to me. It had crows popping into and out of it, and at first i resisted as i didnt know what tf it was but then after scrying its energy i concluded it was benevolent and let it pass through me. It was this powerful energetic electricity that moved through me as what felt like pure spiritual inspiration. It was like an upgrade which i can to this day draw upon, as if ive never been the same since.
I didnt realize at first, but it was my call to interact with Odin answered, which i had only put out a few days or weeks beforehand. The crows, the black 'storm,' and the feeling of inspiration all allude to it having been Odin, or whatever archetypical face of the actual Allfather of Consciousness that Odin represents. We're all One being; i see the gods as faces of the infinite as opposed to autonomous beings but i do wonder sometimes.

This first happened while I was awake. A vision (daydream?) flashed over my eyes and I actually wrote two or three paragraphs recording what I was told. At this point I had not researched anything about the Norse religion. I didn't even realize people were practicing it in 2019 still. He gave his name as Wanderer and because the experience freaked me out so much I just googled the name Wanderer expecting to find nothing and that I had an overactive imagination. To my surprise I had even written down the name Fenrir thinking I had made it up in my head. I also wrote that the being I had communicated with explained to me that he did practice shamanism.
Btw the depiction of Odin at 4:59 is the accurate portrayal. At least of the man or ancestor the legend was based off. The vision hasn't left me and I can still remember what he looks like.
I was so impressed with an apparently otherworldly supernatural experience I decided to try a sacrifice of something simple. That night I dreamed and I also saw wooden sign posts! They were in a field of grain and read, "Odin's, something I don't remember and there were runes on the post. A tree appeared sprouting out of my bed and on it were hung gifts. Some shields , some swords other random gifts. I see them as representations because what need do I have of a sword and a shield in 2019?
The last experience I had was about a week ago. A norse god interrupted my dream and I'm now starting to think it may have been Thor because it did not look like the Odin I saw when I was awake and had the vision. Essentially the god was much bigger and he sort of crashed down and had a jovial smile on his face. It was just a flash and more of an interruption. He didn't say anything but at this point I did become lucid but it didn't feel like I was out of my body it just felt like I was still dreaming but that I was aware I was dreaming. I remember saying in my head "Odin I'm lucid!" Then my lame ass woke up.
Of course now I feel foolish because I can see it clearly had to be Thor. He was much too big to be Odin and for the last few days I have wondered why I saw such different versions of Odin and it just now dawned on me after reading the Poetic Edda that this god had to be Thor. I'm surprised because I wasn't sure Thor existed.
I knew Odin had to be real because I was awake when he gave me the vision and the stuff I wrote down poured out of me before I should have even known a name like Fenrir or wanderer. He essentially confirmed his existence by telling me things and then me googling and finding they weren't gibberish but actually well documented things about Odin's personality still kind of confuses me because I was raised Christian and was essentially an atheist when the vision came over me. I never had any experiences like that all the years I was a Christian so I'm just confused tbh.
Also what makes this even weirder for me is that I was pretty heavily into researching Middle Eastern culture. I was very interested in critiquing the West as well as Europeans for their history of genocide. This has thrown a huge wrench in my plans and worldview. It's almost as if Odin overpowered my own belief system. I had started to think that maybe all these detractors of West were right even though I myself have always been heavily into European fantasy literature.
I read Tolkien for the first time when I was ten years old. I picked it up off a shelf at random in my school library. This may have been Odin's first call because I remember after reading the book that summer I was visiting my grandparents and I remember drawing a door with what I now know to be runes over the hearth way the door was covered in vines. I remember as a child thinking I would go outside and make the door in my grandparents back yard which was about an acre of wooded area. I spent a lot of my youth outside climbing trees and stuff like that.
When I was around fifteen I learned that my biological mother was actually German, Swedish and Dutch so I googled stuff about these cultures at the time hoping I could understand it a little bit. All I found at the time was Neo nazi stuff and that is unfortunate because that's just a cult full of hatred. It was the negative side of the European people and I think perhaps Odin was calling to me but I had missed the mark completely. I researched the worldview of the concept of the Master race and learned a lot but ultimately as I got older that concept didn't hold up. It's true a lot of blonde people are intelligent but so are a lot of Asian people and people from all races have their idiots and their geniuses so the concept kind of crumbles under too much scrutiny.
If anyone is interested in having dreams or visions where the norse gods show up sacrifice salmon and wine on your altar as well as cast your runes on your altar the ones that lie face up leave on your altar those are the ones that he is trying to use to communicate with. He prefers wine and salmon and fennel seeds. I tried a little of my own blood at some point but it never yielded results? I think the spices and the smells either attract him or jog my own DNA memory of him I'm still trying to sort this out.
1. Wine
2. Cooked salmon prepared by you especially for him.
3. Cast all runes leave the ones that lie face up on your altar
4. Herbs and spices : Fennel Seeds and Garlic
5. light 3 candles while welcoming him into the circle
6. Call Wanderer instead of Odin
7.Ask for wisdom first and nothing else!
8. Mind alterer of some sort (be safe) will cause for more clear communication but if you want to have dreams use Mugwort tea
9. Don't forget to drink wine out of your own cup and toast him.
10. Use something from nature you picked out yourself to represent Yggdrasil
11. Stare at your altar until you fall asleep (obviously get comfy laying down don't want you knocking over your candles and starting a fire)
These have worked tried and true 3 times for me now. I can't imagine why it wouldn't work for anyone else 3 times is basically a science at this point. The only difference is obviously our altars might look a little different but I really think those steps have to yield results. The only other thing I can think of is that everyone is different. I do think DNA memory might be a real concept. It could be that I have had the experiences because maybe my biological family has a connection of some sort. I have never met them but will try and find my original surname soon.
I just have one last thing to say. White nationalism causes your mind to seek rigid hierarchies. To really experience Odin you have to be fluid not rigid. You have to be open to humanity and spirituality. That's why I know the poster of this video really met Odin. One the wooden sign posts appeared in both of our visions. Two when she asked if Odin only cared about Germanic people he was silent. The reason for his silence is because he is an ancient ancestor. He has no concept of race like we have it today. If she had said ancestors he might have understood what she meant. You see my experience is that Odin was a highly spiritually ascendent man. So whatever spiritual dimension moving experiences he had while he was a man on earth somehow remained imprinted in his ancestor's DNA but that doesn't mean he's the only one. The reason we can recognize this particular ancestor is because we have information on him. So it's actually logical that more people would have experiences with him. So in essence all the ancestors you have may be trying to speak to you but you don't have anyway to confirm the truth of what they are saying because their thoughts and personalities were never written down or recorded for you to fact check the experience.
I’ve read all of it! I’ve never had a dream experience with any gods before but I really want to and what you’ve told really proves their existence and I love that this has happened to somebody like you especially since you can share and give it out to the world!!!
What a truly fantastic and beautiful video. It is inspirational as you say that anybody can learn to Astral Project and meet Beings in the higher dimensions. Your account of Votan is tremendously beautiful and something to reflect on. It is also something that says that there is still light in the world and that light can grow if we so choose to. I remember that before falling into the dream (some of you may know this stage followed with noises and vibrations), instead of rumbling and random buzzing as usual, I heard the sound of hooves coming from the distance.
Everything was pitch-black and my field of view was made up of grids going seemingly endless.
The sound of hooves sounded like a whole cavalry approaching all of a sudden, and before I knew what was going on, a great figure stood before me.
A giant horseman, holding his spear above his head and looking at me as 2 ravens flied down to his spear. His presence simply radiated with power and wisdom, and I woke up full of energy and some things I needed to figure out were suddenly so clear.
Also, this happened in the early morning after a series of weird lucid dreams.
However this was way different than LD or AP. I can't explain why with words, as the rules of our material or astral world simply cound not be felt at that moment.

I often talk with Odin.
But my first true encounter was in Midgard(the physical plain of existence )
He appeared in my room. The entire corner of the room was distorted as if heat was rising off of Asphault .
Asked "Who are you?"
He told me to pull Runes.
I pulled The Blank (Wyrd or the Odin Stone) and Ansus .
He then told me to walk into his presence and all of a sudden I was enveloped in light and i felt weightless with nothing under my feet.
Odin is Real.

Ok I have a story, normally I’m not a religious person in fact I believe there is a scientific reason to explain most things but There’s been a few instances in my life that really made me question my views on things. Just this past Christmas I was really ill, without doubt the sickest I’ve ever been in my entire life. It got to the point where I couldn’t get out of bed and i was so weak that I slept for most of the day only to really wake up to force Down some water. Towards the end I think I slept for at least 30 hours strait and I had the weirdest dream I’ve ever had In my entire life. It’s a bit fuzzy now but the parts I do remember are very vivid like a memory I’ve experienced In real life. Right so I was in a dark area at night time that kind of looked like a graveyard and I approached this old man that was siting under a very large tree he had a large white beard and a hood over his head. I talked to this guy for a long time but the whole time I felt like he was someone I always knew, it gave me a warm feeling. After we were done talking he told me that it wasn’t my time and he would come back for me, then he put his hand on my shoulder and I woke up to paramedics in my bedroom and apparently i almost died. Honestly I think it was a just a dream and nothing more but it’s been several months and that dream is still bugging me. Not saying I saw odin, because I never asked the person who he was, but I thought it was worth mentioning
@ The Legend - Amazing experience. There are many near-death accounts of people seeing Jesus, but yours is the second now I've heard that appears to be with Odin. The large tree could have possibly represented the Yggdrasil tree Odin was said to have sacrificed himself on, which is another clue it was him. Do you remember anything of what you spoke about with him? I totally understand if it is too personal to share.

My experience with Ódinn was almost identical to this. Also I had sworn all religion away about a week before. I ended up really sick, flu like symptoms but way worse. My entire life I'd say thats the second time I was truly sick. First when o was born. Anyway, the third day of the sickness either I was dreaming or hallucinating from the fever but I went outside and an old man exactly as described here came up and said.... "There's more, there's much more" then he turned and walked away. At that time I had no knowledge of Ódinn at all but he had kind energy yet I didn't say a word because I felt I really needed to respect this man.

I'm not sure if they would be like the same beings or different beings on the same mission to educate people. But serpent images are eerily common throughout the world. It may seem unlikely but I think the Japanese sun goddess Amaterasu might also be one of the prophets/light bringers...whatever you wanna call it. She is sometimes represented by a snake or dragon.
We all come from one family. Being more diverse isn't genocide, it's bringing the family back together again. It'll take centuries to undo what millennia of separation has done to us. That's why I was so excited to see these videos and your books. You're tying together the earliest available commonalities we had. How grievous it is though to see you agreeing with those who see the reunion of the human family as something that should not happen.
Hi Nathan - Like you, I would love to see cooperation, dialogue, and harmony between indigenous peoples everywhere based on mutual respect, common values, and even in many cases, a shared spiritual heritage. Imagine a meeting between indigenous peoples discussing the solutions to world issues, rather than global corporations? I think this is something to aim for.
For this to be possible though, I believe there needs to be a homeland for all races and cultures, in which they have the right to self-determination - just as equally for the indigenous Aymara people of Bolivia, as for the Hopi of North America, and for Germanic Europeans, Britons etc., with no double standards.
In this way, the diversity of cultures and peoples will be preserved against the threats of globalization, but at the same time, there could be communication and reconciliation.
Then, for those who wish to, let us sit at the table to share stories, knowledge, and hopefully friendship.
I have been thinking about what you said here Lara, and I thought how the confusion arises when people want to just implant “multiculturalism” forcefully everywhere like some kind of ideal. I mean, it certainly has its place in big cities like London, where it naturally developed with different people coming there for work, etc…, but wanting to forcefully install it everywhere is quite twisted I think (like anything done by force really), and destroys the different and original cultures. In the same time, if it happened naturally, let’s say if by some huge miracle people of Earth would achieve such a high level of spirituality, peacefulness, and wisdom that the borders would not be needed anymore, then that’s fine with me personally. :-)

This happened to me last night.. a Outer Body Experience. When I found him threw this Cave like Crevice. He was sat in a massive Chair. He asked me what I wanted from me. But before you answer... what are you living for? What is your PURPOSE? I told him my answer. And he replied with.. he asked me why I have allowed people to change me? I said. Am I Weak? He laughed. Awsome sister, im a vitki or a sharman or whatever ppl would call me, ive met Odin many many times, astral work, dreamtime work etc. ive met many of the gods my ancestors and spirits over the years of my training etc.
Ive taught 5 people to experience the gods so far. its not hard. pathwalking and astral projection work, is hard for modern minded people but so easy for peopel who can dream with the runes properly (as opposed to use them as tarot cards)

Great video. I have understood for some time that Odin giving his eye is indeed symbolic.
What I came to understand is that in order to find wisdom we must be willing to sacrifice our own perception of things and that this is the meaning of Odin giving his right eye.
It is my understanding that Odin hanging on Yggdrasil is a reference to stargazing, in part as it has many meanings. It is a key to unlocking the door of many Mysteries.
One such door I found was unlocking the key to Norse astronomy.
It is my understanding that the cup of what is known as the Big Dipper is one half of the head of Mjolnir and the other half consists of two stars in Ursa Major opposite of the handle of the Big Dipper. The handle is drawn from the top of Mjolnir to the star most people call Polaris.
Polaris is the eagle which rest atop Yggdrasil, his name is "Truth/Sincerity" (as one concept) and the Little Dipper is Veðrfölnir who rest upon his brow.
The sacred swastika is a transient constellation as it is represented by Mjolnir at each of the Four Seasons. What is known as the handle of the Big Dipper, those three stars, represent the Giant slayer's Odin Vili and Ve.
It was a dream where my Slavic heritage bled in which led me to find Sleipnir each of his legs represents eight of the nine virtues and his body represents truth/sincerity (as one concept).
I think that figures 3.1 and 3.2 on page 74 of "Futhark" by Edred Thorsson might provide clues to finding the location of the Runes in Norse astronomy. Figure 3.1 may show us where a particular Rune is found from The Horizon upward. Figure 3.2 may show us the direction a particular Rune is found, or the time of year a rune can be found, or both.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to spend enough significant time in the wilderness to study Norse astronomy to determine if my theory is correct.

If you want to know the Divine Will then turn to the Divine; if you want to know God's will ask God, don't rely on second hand information from mortal man. It is filled with too much bias and superstition. Always check things out yourself with the guidance of the spirit.
In time, with maturity, you will learn discernment of the spirit. If you follow the judeo-christian path I recommend you study the Gifts of the Spirit. 1 Cor 12 if I remember correctly. And understand no one has a monopoly on God and no one has a monopoly on truth.
10 years ago I was attacked in a knife frenzied attack and wounded a number of times. As I was losing consciousness I prayed to Odin to help me or guide me in death, he walked towards me and placed his hand upon my shoulder. As he did so I was awaken by 3 paramedics over me trying to keep me awake. I had a fast recovery in hospital less than a week and was able to recover at home.
That sounds amazing Anthony, I imagine you must have had a strong connection to Odin since then...

I had an experience before. I was taken to another realm after a intense medictative process and a giant shadowed guy appeared as the time stopped and he said: "Now time has been shut, and when time is shutted, there is no place you cannot go.." - clearly first time i saw interdepence of time and space... Now i'm writing a book about old philosophy guided by this same voice, i was voice guided to write in the book " timeless words of moral and wisdom"..."light reflected light". Interesting how the sons of light are worried about the wrong doing about ethics and moral and to safeguard the wisdom of balance to the rebuilding of a new world
One amazing thing that happened to me is that I was laying down in bed one night and I closed my eyes to sleep but opened them again after 2 seconds. All of a sudden I saw a flash right infront of my face and it was Odin looking at me and he had only one eye. However, this vision disappeared after a few seconds.
Also, one night I was dreaming and I had a dream of seeing Thor's hammer (Mjölnir) and as I saw his hammer I woke up and then thunder and lightning blasted outside of my house.
I saw odin in a dream which led me to search this. I saw his face very clearly with a golden knot-work style pattern floating in front of or flowing from his missing eye he didn't say anything just looked at me but I remember it so clearly more than any of my other dreams
Wow, awesome. Maybe the knot-work pattern represents some kind of ancient knowledge/wisdom he was imparting to you. The knot-work symbolizing an ancient heritage, but one that is eternal/endless (Celtic knot-work, for example, was often used to symbolize this). The fact that it was golden may represent its solar and spiritual nature. That it was coming from his missing eye may symbolize the wisdom he sacrificed his eye to attain. Powerful stuff.
I can still picture it really clearly now . It was very intense I felt a little breathless when I woke up. Funnily enough this happened a few months after I started looking in to my ancestry I like in the UK . But my heritage is majority Danish and Saxon
I don't think the timing is a coincidence. I personally think it's part of the in-gathering, as other people who are looking into their Germanic ancestry are having these experiences too.
In my experience, when a dream is very clear like that, it usually indicates it is given as a message, rather than being from the subconscious - especially if you wake straight up from it.
I'd love to see people take their calling further, for example, and get out to the ancient sites across Europe for the solstices and equinoxes, which they align to - like Goseck Circle (winter solstice) and Externsteine (summer solstice) in Germany, which are particularly relevant to Germanic pagans. Goseck Circle is even older than Stonehenge, and was built on the same latitude (which has a unique astronomical significance).

This is interesting Lara, just yesterday I watched some videos on megaliths in Germany: ruclips.net/video/AYVNM7wXtF0/видео.html I found them while searching for some places to celebrate the upcoming spring equinox. The Wikipedia page with more info on these megaliths (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megaliths_in_Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) says that about 26 of the dolmens are oriented towards spring equinox, but unfortunately, does not mention which ones. :-O

Iam Brazilian and a descendant of Portuguese and Italians. I have been studying Germanic Paganism since 2005. It is a rich spiritual practice based on conduct. However, I see numerous people saying that only native Nordic/Scandinavian people can practice the faith.
It's interesting, I think there is something powerful in Germanic paganism that draws people to it. I don't know yet what it is, but I feel it has to do with Odin and what a powerful being he is. I personally believe that if people want to practice their ancient cultural faith among those ancestrally tied to it, then that is their free will, which should be respected. This is a fairly common practice among Native Americans for example. But I also believe that those of any ancestry should have the free will to practice any faith they wish, and should not be stopped from doing so. We are firstly spiritual beings, secondly physical beings. Therefore, I support your decision. Free Will.

I must share that it is strange this is a reccomendation for me. I recently had an extremely vivid dream this month that came from my personal god, Wotan. I fell asleep visualizing myself in Wotan's presence in a temple in my mind, later, I was in a sleep paralysis state and I could feel Wotan standing over me in bed, projecting magic into my mind. I felt a little afraid but calmed down eventually. He seemed to be projecting a spell into my mind, it felt like pulsating light, in this vision, I saw Him show me(He never spoke) secrets of letters and runes used in magic. It was a display that people's names in this world have extreme power and most certainly can determine how people will be and behave. Literally a spell of their name is a "spell", and certain names were much more beautiful to spell out in this magic spell way, the Germanic and Celtic names i tried to "spell" in this vision felt wonderful to spell out and made me smile, while Hispanic names felt extremely wicked and almost gave me a heart attack. Wotan didn't choose to take on a form and just "spoke" in shoing me and emotion.
All of this felt extremely real, and while I admit my mind could have made this, I really did sense it.
I must state I was sober at the time and have not done any drugs or alcohol in months.

I just described my experience with Thor on another channel via a vivid "dream". I am just floored by the comments with so many people having similar experiences. All these years, I was dismissive of my experiences, thinking they were isolated dreams. Lol, I am pleasantly surprised by how wrong I was.
I, too, have met Óðinn and had a similar experience. I've learned a lot about nature and how much one can learn from simply listening to the sounds of nature, among other things.
Yes, I've found the same - it can be very profound to sit in nature in conscious awareness. The spirit in nature is alive and teaching.

@@SakroSawel , with each new knowledge received, is like a quenched thirst. With every moment of truth arising, historical, religious, or philosophically is like a hunger satisfied. When I see others on the same journey, it is a breath of fresh, new life. Óðinn is our húgr (our memory), I believe, and he is linked to all that is living. That's why he shows us that knowledge is infinite, as well as wisdom (undying knowledge).

I had an expierance like this around samhain. I sttod at the gates of valhalla speaking with odin. I can not remeber what was said between us but i onew it was him. He appeared to me much like the odin in the bejamin thorpe translation of the havamal. Including his missing eye

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! It's super motivating to realise beings like Wotan are able and willing to directly guide and teach normal people in this way! The first thing that struck me was how you describe Wotan as so friendly and yet powerful, and in particular how he evoked this stream of questioning, with answers either given or evoked from within through his silence. This description seems to me to be an uncanny link to how the qualities of Mercury are described in astrology, with the signs he rules, Virgo and Gemini, having these friendly and inquisitive/inquiring qualities to them. Of course, both of are linked to the third day of the week through different branches of language - you mention in your book how Wodnesdaeg became Wednesday, and the link between Mercury and the third day is seen in other languages - Mercredi/Dydd Mercher in French/Welsh - so it makes me wonder about the link between Wotan and everything mercurial, including a link to the planet?!
Also I find it interesting that 'Budha' is the Vedic name for Mercury, meaning divine intelligence beyond the mind, (buddhi) and the presiding deity is Vishnu, (according to Parashara, the authour of the Vishnu Purana) the 'preserver' god that pervades all - which made me think of the way Wotan said to you and others, "I am you", or similar - and how Vishnu is also a fire god, and how it can be seen that it's the fire of consciousness that unites all living beings and pervades all of creation.
Anyway, partly I'm exciting by these connections because it turns something like astrology, which is a quest for answers about life in itself, back to an internal quest rather than one that remains intellectual, as well as spiritual pursuits in general. It's such a valuable thing to know that these direct, personal 'classroom' experiences with beings most people think are imaginary are actually possible; but it's even more valuable to have them yourself, which is what I'm now going for! Wishing Odin visits me and many more people! ;-)
I might be guilty of also making connections here that don't exist, and will be happy for you, or Wotan himself, to correct me if so!
My experience was different than your own Odin called me twice the first time before becoming an evangelist because of outside interference and the second when I was ready to serve him because of my gifts of mediumship and healing and me not using them Odin wanted to change this I can now astral walk with him in my waking mind in meditation and asleep whenever I call on him he comes and I have found he indeed makes you answer your own questions or answers some and leaves you others to answer yourself to me he was just as you describe him but to me as a father teacher and friend he has made me a better person brought me back to the light he may well have travelled far and wide across the globe I feel special that he came to me and asked me to serve him I gladly did and I have become a better person because of him I was lost angry at the world and taking up norse religion when he came to me on both occasions
