  • Chris Haslam’s Pro Spotlight Video likely melted your face, as it did ours. How the hell did he think up those tricks let alone figure out how to do them?! Filmer Carson Lee went back through the archives and edited up this Raw version to give us all some perspective. Check out some of the outtakes, slams, and multiple tries that went in to these groundbreaking tricks.

      +Dashawn Wilson darkslide, Casper, underflip... don't get me wrong, dude has the most crazy, game of skate talented feet ever, he invented everything and he's down to earth and cool as fuck... but I've seen it already. Haslam is doing innovated shit, New shit in innovative places... plus he's found the secret to grow old skatefully, that is... he's figured out a way (like dill only instead of just cool/stylish like dill... and I love Jason dill, also still cutting edge) to not have to jump down twenty stairs, off roofs etc. and yet still be relevant... dudes gotta be gettin onto forty... and yet, cool as shit innovative part that I gladly used my last data to watch... his best since cheese and crackers... he over did the "on a board" and Aaron kyro shit in... what was that, five incher? this is vintage Haslam

    • @wilsongang3279
      @wilsongang3279 9 лет назад

      DouchedByDemocrats im not denying this guys skills but i mean ive seen skate videos of people doing the same shit he does. Hes a dope a skater but i mean i thought the shit in tony hawks pro skater was fake as far as maneul tricks go like the pogo and all that shit until i seen that those were real. Idk i dont watch many skate videos but dude to do tricks where your feet dont touch the floor at all is amazing and it seems like the older generation of pros are waaay better than the new generation. If you have any recomendations of talented skaters let me know id love to see them.

    I got out of the skateboard scene about 9 years ago and its absolutely crazy to see how far the sport has progressed. I just don't think there is any other sport out there that moves anywhere close to the same pace. Like tricks that we genuinely couldn't have conceived of back then are all over the place now. The same was true when I used to watch vids from the 90s when I was skating. Nice job Chris, definitely made me smile.

    Watch the trick at 5:16 because it is a true/real Ollie late kickflip. The other trick that people think is a 'Late flip' or Ollie late flip are really an Ollie late back foot kickflip or Back foot kickflip depending on how late the flip is executed.
