Lovely Cardinal finishes! Best wishes and prayers for both Clint and you. Caregivers don't always realize how tired they get too. Please take good care of yourself. Congrats on a new little one preparing to enter into your family.
Good luck and healthy healing to your husband. You are right, he needs rest to heal. Stay strong yourself, it is not easy being a caregiver. Your framed cardinal pieces are beautiful.
Thank you for the visit and for sharing your lovely projects and finishes! Sending good wishes for your husband's continuing recovery. He might be frustrated with the rate of recovery, but his body is telling him to not overdo things and rest. Sleep is a great healer, and I hope you are getting plenty of rest, too (stress can take a toll on you both). Hope all goes well with the CAT scan. Years ago, my daughter needed back surgery and was struck by how blessed we were to have good health care that paid for all but a few co-pays. Medical expenses can devastate a family's finances.
I’m sorry that Clint is still having health issues. Prayers for Clint and yourself during this time. He needs to be kind to himself and let his body heal. My husband never sat still either. He was always busy doing something. I’m happy to hear you are able to stay home and be with Clint and care for him. And it sounds like your getting some stitching in as well. Love your Christmas piece! The linen color is pretty! Loved seeing all your stitching. Congratulations on a new grandchild on the way!
Sending prayers for your husbands continued recovery and healing. Prayers sent to you also, wives have it hard also trying to care for our loved ones and keep things going. So many congratulations on the newest grandbaby addition. I'm so excited for you. I love your projects and can't wait to see you in October. Thanks for your positivity!
You and Clint are in my prayers for a full recovery for him and strength and patience for you. Remember self care so you can care for Clint. Be well my friend. 💕💕
Those mill hill cardinals are gorgeous! And your frame color is perfection! I am thinking about you caring for your husband as we are going through a similar situation, only with a cancer diagnosis. It is hard for the caregivers...our stitching can certainly help us relax and keep going. God bless.
You have my friendship and prayers. My sister and I cared for my father in a similar situation. I am so glad that I had then opportunity to love and care for him through it. I pray that you find comfort and peace as you care for your husband. ❤️
The Cardinals is a pretty piece, the subtle shine behind it seems to get it some dimension. Very nice!😃 A new Grandbaby!🤗 Grandchildren’s can be the best medicine!
So great to catch up with you Lorrie. The pillow finish with the heart looks so cute! I'm loving all of the cardinals!! The turtle finish, the Christmas manor - everything is gorgeous! So glad to hear that you and your husband are hanging in there and taking it one day at a time. Lots of love my friend! ❤🐦
Congratulations on the next grandchild! Such a lucky child to have you in her life! Hard to believe Jacob is going to be a dad. Also, very happy to hear that your husband is "coming along". It takes a long time for the body to heal, especially from the inside! Hope the latest scan gives you as much good news as it can. Keeping all of you in my heart and prayers. Love your excitement about your stitching. It is inspiring! Take care of you too!
Great to visit with you today and see your stitching updates. So glad you are joining us on Though He Seemeth Sleeping. Praying for you and Clint. Congratulations on a new granddaughter on the way. Take care and happy stitching!💕😊
Prayers for Clint. Sorry to hear about the "hiccup" during his recovery. Keep him busy. Maybe he could start stitching. Find him a fish pattern to stitch. 😅😅😅😅
Bless your heart! I know it's difficult being the care giver. My husband suffered a compression fracture of his t12 vertibra in June and in the course of that, we found he had a 95 percent block of the major artery of his heart. So he got 2 stents put in. The pain is incredible. All that to say it's hard for a strong man to go through a weak time. So I'll pray for your hubby as I'm praying for mine. I'll bet you're feeling like I am when when I say, "I just want to sew!" Of course, I'm grateful, as I'll bet you are, to take care of him. You're in my thoughts and prayers!
Oh, mercy. What a relief they found the blockage and that we have modern medicine. But that's SO much pain to be dealing with at once. I'm grateful our bodies can rebuild themselves over time. That feels like a miracle, when I really think about it. Very best wishes to both of you.
Hi. I’m in the same age bracket as you and I’m the main caregiver in my family for my 85 year old mother who has aged a lot in the past 2 years. Till you go through it, it’s hard to understand so I appreciate what you said about your husband’s recovery and dealing with medical issues. Congrats on your the grand baby on the way! I love that Tellin Emblim finish! And the Shannon Christine design is so pretty - thank you for the tip on the green variegated border color!
You have my understanding. My sister and I took care of our Dad until his passing. It wasn’t easy, but I am glad that we could do it. Caregiving leaves no time for self, so I truly understand your situation. Sending prayers and friendship. ❤️
I will continue to keep you and Clint in my prayers. I understand how rough it is to deal with health situations. Your blessing is have that little sweetness running around for the day. And congratulations on another beautiful grandchild! I know you haven’t seen her yet, but you know she’s a beauty.😊 Happy Stitching! - Valerie
I enjoyed your video very much! I wish your husband a great return to health! My husband and I are retired and seldom need health care - but we have read up and follow lots on Medical Medium stuff - many endorsements on Instagram. It's all in what you eat! Easy to figure out! Be well!
Congratulations on your new grand daughter! Prayers will continue for your hubby. You are so right there is alot to think about as you age!. Your finishes turned out beautifully! Have a wonderful week. Love your sampler it is gorgeous ❤
Congrats on the sweet baby, and I will add Clint to my prayers. Your Mill Hills are always so well done. Shannon Christine has some very gorgeous designs, but I've yet to stitch one. I love your choice of fabric for Winter Manor.
I am so glad to find someone close I am in Waynesboro Ga and Watch you on you tube I get to go to barefoot Needlearts once a year sorry about your husband illness I loss my husband to cancer but I have remarried stitching really helps me keep stitching they are beautiful
I am so sorry for your loss Denise, but am glad that you found someone to share your life with. We should make a point to get to know one another at Barefoot soon.
Glad to hear your husband is up moving around. Hope the medical staff explained that he needs to increase his protein intake to help him heal. Protein drinks are a great way. Your stitching is so nice. You have gotten a lot done. Congratulations on the new baby!!! Aren’t Grandchildren just the best??
This is the first that I have been made aware of protein and the healing process. Thanks for the information. I will definitely be researching more about it today. Yes, Grandchildren are THE BEST! ❤️
Hey from NC! I have been praying for a complete healing and recovery 🙏 Oh how I wish we had more stitchers in the Wilmington area. I just have to make some time to go to Barefoot in Myrtle. If your ever headed that way, please let me know....would love to meet you someday! Take care, love you
Hi Sarah! I would love that! I have been up to Rose Hill once, but didn’t take the chance to visit the Wilmington area. I will be visiting Barefoot again in October for their #24HOCS event… 😉
Thank you ma’am! Vineyard Faire is so pretty. I already know how I want to frame it, and where I want to hang it. Thanks for the invitation to stitch it with you. ❤️😘
Thank you for your video, I will continue to pray for your family's health. Hang in there, good things will be coming. The things you stitch are lovely and I love seeing your progress 🙂
Your selection of olive color fabric really enhances the other colors. Great selection. You’ve been a busy stitcher. On the pillow? with the heart on the back, do you wool or felt for the fabric
Did anyone have "ort" in their working vocabulary before cross stitching? I knew it only from crossword puzzles. Medical bills are terrifying. I hope your husband recovers soon. Congratulations on the new grandbaby! I can well imagine the toddler wore you both out. I have a cat who wants to go in. and out. and in. and out. and in. and out. Even a cat wears me out, and I don't have to worry about her getting into life-threatening danger, so sometimes I can just ignore her. And Kramer has a cat door at the back of the house, but she insists on the front door. Cats and toddlers. Lordy. lol
Ort…I agree with you. I doubt that we did. 🤣 I have a a large dog, Hank, and he is much like your Kramer. He keeps me moving. He loves to go out, but loves to come back in from the heat. Have a lovely week. ❤️
Sorry sorry to be rude. Your flag is hanging wrong. Blue field should be left hand side when hanging down. As always I love seeing all you stitch. You have such great projects going. I always think I can do a Mill Hill, but I just don't know about all the beading yet. Some day❤❤ Lots of loves and blessings❤❤❤
Morning! It is actually an outside flag. The sem stitching it to the opposite side and is why it is hanging that way. You can definitely do a Mill Hill! They come with very clear instructions. If you have any questions, please reach out to me. I would be happy to help. ❤️
@@mischievousstitches oh that's cool. I always hate to be the nag, I thank you for informing me. Do you have any suggestions on what my first mill Hill should be? There are so very many I want to try.
Enjoyed your new video. Prayers for Clint's continued improvement and congrats on your new granddaughter. 💞 Can you please tell me what the name is for your sticky bead case. I'm having trouble finding one. Thanks.
